I have to say I do like the way this concealer (in medium) balances out my complexion...undereyes and blemishes are covered nicely and I set this with my Jane colorless and cocoa-to-honey powders and I am good to go for the day....another happy MUA story for me...thanks everyone for the great advice!!!
Wow!! I was just checking to see if my fave nail polish was anywhere in the product reviews...and lo and behold it's taking the top 3 spots, go figure!! OPI makes my #1 fave color...Hearthrob...just 1 coat and some clear and you'll have nails that everyone will ask..."What's that color on your nails?"...I loved it so much, I bought my nail salons brand new bottle for $6 and I'll buy it again when it runs out...try it!!
I love this powder...It was so cheap ($4) at Rite-aid..I bought 2..colorless and cocoa-to-honey....since I'm medium tan, I apply my TimeBalm concealer (in medium) undereyes & on blemishes and then apply colorless first and cocoa-to-honey to add a glow to my face. They both work well with my kabuki brush and I only touch up once a day....but even then, I'm not oily at all..just a little dewy. Unless my skin objects, I definitely will keep buying these 2 powders and at 2 for $8...its another WIN for this MUA girl!!!
Eye Makeup Remover -Mary Kay - Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover
lgs13 10/7/2007 10:21:00 PM
This is the 1st eye makeup remover I've ever purchased. I used to use vaseline or just soap & water. I have to say I will be buying this again for the ease and gentleness that I get while removing my mascara. I use Shiseido's makeup mascara base and any variation of mascara from full n'soft, max factor, clinique or lancome and remover works perfectly with each combination. Will definitely be using until I can find something that works just as well, but maybe for a lesser price....but it has to be a lot lesser because this stuff is great!!
Hair Styling Tools -Farouk CHI - Chi Ceramic Flat Iron by Farouk

I have the 1" Chi Turbo (red handle) and I absolutely love it!! I've had a Hot Tools and Conair Infinity and I wish I never wasted my $$ on them...but thanks to MUA and all the rave reviews, I've finally found what I've been looking for in a flat iron. It flatens my mid-back, thick highlighted hair smooth in about 20 min and it never snags my hair. I got mine for $98 delivered, from Ebay, and I would definitely recommend investing the $$ for beautiful results--every time!!
Mascara -Shiseido - The Makeup Mascara Base [DISCONTINUED]
lgs13 2/27/2007 1:55:00 AM
I will never use any Mascara without this stuff again!! A couple of quick coats and a quick follow with my Full n'Soft and my lashes look like I spent several minutes and layers, WITHOUT looking spidery or clumpy...pure eye majic!!!
Treatments -Merle Norman - Luxiva Shine Control Lotion
lgs13 2/27/2007 1:51:00 AM
Controls my combo-oily skin, very rarely do I have to blot or powder during the day. My skin actually improved with less oil= all over less blemishes and cleaner pores....my face feels flawless!!! $30 bottle from Merle Norman has lasted 2 months so far and it's only half used so far!!
If you love Phyto's "Moisturizing Styling Balm" or Ouidad's "Climate control Gel", you have to try BTZ's "Noodle Head".....I used to travel 20 miles and spend $20 a tube for the perfect product for my sons' curly hair...now I go to the nearest Sally's....only 5 miles and $5 a tube!! A definite must have!!!
Lotions/ Creams -Hanae Mori - Butterfly Body Cream

Pure Heaven in a jar...the sweet almond scent is orgasmic and addictive.....the moisture is perfect..deep but not greasy and u can pick it up cheaper online than at Nordstrom....my fave cream in the world!!...UPDATE: can you believe it?? 4 years from my first review on this and I am still in love with this cream....I just got it for x-mas and I'm so happy everytime I dab it on...you should only dab it on hands/feet or other dry areas because it is very rich and potent but the scent is still one of my absolute faves....luv it!!
All I can say is that my hair looks fabulous today (long, wavy-curly-no frizz)and it's all thanks to a $4 bottle of "Noodle Head" that I bought from Sally's Beauty Supply....I also got 4 other products all totalling $23!! Can't wait to try the rest and keep everyone posted on their results!
my motto..."you get what you pay for"...was proven wrong this time! Definitely the best $5 (on sale-usually $9)I've invested in my face stuff. It passed the dreaded office bathroom lights test. It may not give the 100% flawless look of LM or MAC, but it gives about 90% of their benefit for about 15% of their price...good cheap find!
I usually use Lancome's Flextencils but since I've been trying to save $$, I tried F&S (non-waterproof) in brownish-black and I'm definitely pleased. I get about 90% of the effect of Flex. (length, thickness, color depth)for about 25% of the price. Occasional clumps but I can work with those for the savings!!
Treatments -Clinique - Total Turnaround Visible Skin Renewer
lgs13 5/2/2002 4:20:00 PM
Clinique's Total Turnaround Cream does exactly what it says...turns your skin 180 degrees from bad to best!! I can't remember when my skin looked better, except when I was a child!! Highly Recommended and worth every penny!
I use the mineral veil over my BE #2 powder foundation and it doesn't even feel like I have either on. I only feel refreshed and glowing when I touch up. Wonderful powder!!!
