Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Bamboo Foundation Brush
leverniz 11/14/2010 4:28:00 AM
considering the price, this brush is okay. good enough for the price, but if you are looking for a better quality foundation brush,, definitely try the other higher end brush with a better quality, honestly i dont like it, somehow i feel like it gives me a thick application, the bristle also feels really thick and clumpy. i wish it would work for me, but unfortunately it didnt
love this eyeshadow, doesnt fall out, pure matte black without any glitter in it which i really love. eventhough its not really pigmented as the NYX blackshadow, but i still prefer carbon because imo, the nyx black shadow is too pigmented and always fall out and too glittery aswell. so i'll definitely choose carbon.
Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational - Pink Please ] ] [DISCONTINUED]

heard this product from some of the youtube gurus, and i decided to give it a try. and turns out that i really love this product. the colour is just a perfect baby pink colour, really natural colour, completes my everyday makeup look. my concern about this product is sometimes it looks really dry, but what i always do is always use a lipbalm the night before, so in the morning or the day after when im about to apply this product, my lips wont look really dry anymore.
Eye Shadow -Maybelline - ExpertWear Eyeshadow Quad in Chai Latte
leverniz 10/10/2010 4:04:00 AM
this is currently of my my HG eyeshadow quad. the price is really reasonable, and this eyeshadow staying power is really great, i really love the natural taupe colour in the bottom left, and the dark brown colour is also really nice and so blendable. i dont really use the dark green colour though,
Primer/ Corrector -Laura Mercier - Foundation Primer Oil -Free
leverniz 10/10/2010 4:01:00 AM
honestly i cant find the differences between wearing this primer or not, the MUA at laura mercier told me that if i use this primer, she can guarantee that my tzone wont get oily for the whole day, but turns out that until now, i still have to buy an oil blot paper. definitely just waste of my AUD60!
Loose Powders -Bobbi Brown - Sheer Finish Loose Powder
leverniz 10/10/2010 3:57:00 AM
Overall this is a really good loose powder to set your foundation with, i also like to apply this powder when i need to touch up because i have an oily skin. but somehow this powder doesnt stay matte for a long time. i'll still notice the oiliness in my t-zone after 2-3hours.
Liquid -Bobbi Brown - Natural Finish- Long Lasting Foundation SPF 15 [DISCONTINUED]
leverniz 10/10/2010 3:53:00 AM
i actually have a mixed feelings about this foundation. in the winter, this foundation is nearly perfect because it really gives me a matte finish, the reason why i said it is nearly perfect because i'll still have my t-zone becomes oily through the day, but oil blot paper would really save my day. and the cons of this foundation is wearing this foundation in summer, because here is getting warmer, when im using this foundation, my nose will get really oily in the next 2hours, even oil blot paper cant really help. but overall i like the coverage and the matte finish of this foundation, despite that it still gives me an oily nose thorough out the day!
Crème -Bobbi Brown - Oil-Free Even Finish Compact Foundation
leverniz 7/12/2010 3:15:00 AM
I actually like this foundation, because it does reduce my oily throughout the day, but I still would have my Tzone becomes shiny after 4-5hours! it has a powdery finish, which is good, but somehow it feels a bit heavy on your face (if u compared to the natural finish liquid foundation)
Concealers -Maybelline - Instant Age Rewind Double Face Perfector [DISCONTINUED]
leverniz 7/12/2010 3:10:00 AM
Just bought this concealer last week, but ive already fall in love with this product!! it really covers my dark circle ( i dont use this to cover my blemishes, etc) it also has a really good coverage, u can even compared this to Laura Mercier / Bobbi brown concealer, Ive tried so many concealer, and imo, for the price, this Age rewind is the best!
Eye Primer -Too Faced - Shadow Insurance, Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer
leverniz 7/12/2010 3:05:00 AM
This is actually my first eye-primer, but i do love this primer! it really 'seals' my eyeshadow, even when im using the black shadow! it also keeps my eyeliner from smudging, so sometimes i apply a little bit of this primer into my lower lid, and it saves my eyeliner from smudging for the entire day!
really love this liquid liner, i tried mac pencil liner (which is sucks), chanel cake liner (good, but i guess this artliner is wayyyy better than the chanel one), this artliner doesnt smudge at all! at all! stays for a wholeee day! doesnt matter whether u want to create a thick or thin line, this artliner will still create a precise line, i have an oily lids, but this is just the only one eyeliner that can stays for a whole day! definitely my HG eyeliner!
i took one lippie off because it doesnt control my oil, my skin will still look oily in midday -.- but this product is really good to set my foundation, without adding any colour into ur face because this is a sort of translucent powder (well, translucent for me)
i bought this foundation 1.5 years ago, after i tried BB foundation, i stopped using it, because it has nothing to be compared with BB, but after i read some of the wonderful reviews on internet about this foundation, i decided to give it a try once again, and i still dont like it, the foundation feels really thick for me, and i have to blend the foundation quickly, unless it will dry out in a sec -_- and my skin will look oily in 2hrs. i decided to never ever try this foundation again, i hate it
i actually didnt bought this product, when i run out my foundation, my sis gave this to me because she doesnt use foundation that much, anyway, ive been using this foundation for almost 2months, i like it, but dont love it, pros - nice coverage - easy to blend - looks natural - matte finish - the colour really matches with my skin cons: - my skin will look oily in 4-5 hours so i take one lippie off because my skin will still look oily in midday!

according to the price, this brush set is really great,of course u cant compare this with a high-end brush, with a significant differences of price, how could u compare this to those high end brush. anyway, what i love the most from this set is the eyeliner brush, it really helps me to create a precise line, esp for winged liner. i also love the stippling brush/blush brush, i usually use them for applying my liquid foundation. what i dont like from this set are the concealer brush and angled foundation brush, both of them just never work for me. the eyeshadow brushes are okay.
