First off i'd like to say I got this for half off at hautelook.com Pros: really pigmented -long lasting power without primer -texture is almost a creamy feeling, not chalky at all -price is still great at full price -super cute packaging Cons: the only thing i wish this had more of would be matte shades If you are looking for a nude palette that isn't too pricey this would be it. I don't own the Urban Decay naked palettes but I won't have to because of this :)
Liquid -Cover Girl - Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation
lesliexyang 2/3/2013 1:32:00 PM
I honestly think this works better as a primer vs a foundation. It does show all the flakes on my skin BUT when I use a powder foundation to set it, all of it goes away and I don't see shine for a good while. So as a primer I like this.
I have 3 of these already! I just bought the shade Infinite Rose today and I love it. It is more subtle and wearable for everyday. These are full coverage, most of them except for Cute Pink. That one is good to top off over another lipstick for shimmer. I'm sort of just "okay" with that one. They stay on for a really long time and don't rub off much. Forever Fuschia is beautiful and bold. I will have to post pictures when I can!!
Treatments -Garnier - Sleek and Shine Moroccan Sleek Oil Treatment
lesliexyang 6/17/2012 11:02:00 AM
I usually don't write reviews for hair products but this one is a win for a drugstore product. oh and i'm usually not comfortable with putting oil in my hair but the orange bottle just sold me. i love the smell of garnier products anyway. i applied a dime size amount of this on my hair after i got out of the shower last night and instantly i noticed that it smoothed my hair out. once my hair started to dry i noticed my hair wasn't looking dry like it normally does and it felt really soft and not oily at all. the true test was in the morning. my hair still felt soft and hydrated!! my ends didn't look dry and it wasn't greasy at all. i would recommend this product, it is $5 at walmart and i'm sold.
Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain- Cherish
lesliexyang 6/16/2012 7:44:00 PM
Ok so i've tried to work this product for a week now and it has officially ruined my lips :/ I really wanted it to work, i'm not sure if it's the peppermint oil that is causing my lips to itch and dry out but now my bottom lip feels really scabbed if that makes any sense. As far as the color I do like it, and it stains to a cherry stain after the color has worn off my lips. I am not a hater or Revlon products because I use a few things from them and I really wanted this to work, but for this, 2 lippies. It has been 2 days and my lips are still very dry even after lip balms.
WIN WIN!! i already tried the studio line one which sorta just reminded me of a concealer and it was harder to smooth on but this one..oh man it's great! i gave it the test try on the arm and used my Milani Paint palette to the test. i applied the primer on my arm and let it sit for a few seconds. my first thoughts were that it felt oily and slippery, but i continued to move on and apply the shadows on there. at first when i applied the shadows they looked weird, like darker than they show up normally. but after a minute all the colors dried and were soo vibrant, much more vibrant than in the pan also. i smudged them around a little also and they arent budging much! i still can't believe how vibrant the colors look right now because i know i can't get them to show up like this on their own. LOVE THIS STEAL!!!
Masks -Makeup Artist's Choice (MUAC) - 40% Lactic Acid Peel
lesliexyang 2/1/2012 9:04:00 AM
NOTE: buy sample first please! don't get sucked into the reviews on youtube because this won't work on all skin type! we're all always hoping for a miracle product but there is never such a thing..ever!! anyways that being said, this totally broke me out everywhere i applied it, giving me more scars and redness. it does say that it will get better with time but heck, who wants a product that will supposedly "bring out" pimples or purge their skin? just try this with a fair warning.
Skincare - Body -Johnson & Johnson - Creamy Baby Oil
lesliexyang 1/4/2012 9:07:00 PM
♥♥♥ LOVE!!! ♥♥♥ i'm reviewing the newer one since i believe this was discontinued for a while. the packaging now is in a tube and it costs about $4 a bottle at walmart. i have this in the aloe and vitamin E. the smell is refreshing and can be a bit strong, but that doesn't bother me. what i really love about this is that it doesn't even feel like baby oil. it's non greasy and soaks in fast. this is perfect for winter time, or any other time! i wash the dishes a lot and sometimes i am too lazy to put my gloves on, so this helps rehydrate my hands afterwards and it feels so silky! try this if you are interested!
I dont know why other users are saying this dries out their hair, it probably works different on everyone. I have damaged/colored dry fine hair, i use heat styling and tease often. At the end of the day I need something that will take off my freeze hairspray and clean my hair, but not dry it out. I've tried a bunch of brands, Aveeno, John Freida, a few other brands from Sally's. This definitely did not dry out my hair at all. I am satisfied I will be repurchasing huge bottles of this. After conditioning, my hair doesn't feel like straw.
Misc Beauty Tools -Olay - Professional Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System
lesliexyang 8/16/2011 11:20:00 AM
I have been using this for a good two weeks and it has definitely helps clear out my acne. I wear long wearing foundation (estee lauder double wear) and this makes sure my pores are clean. I usually clean my face with olive oil, then loreal 360 cleanser, then make up wipe to get all my eye makeup off and any traces. well when i added this to the routine, my skin started clearing up noticeably. it isn't supposed to feel like file paper on your skin. i could see traces of makeup on the brush too that i didn't see with the wipe. when you wear long wearing foundations it's important to make sure every trace is off. i would buy this again for sure. the only thing i wish this had was a faster speed!
Moisturizers -Cerave - Facial Moisturizing Lotion - PM
lesliexyang 6/8/2011 3:56:00 PM
This definitely clogged my pores. It is very good at healing chapped/dry skin but around my nose and forehead I got tiny red bumps all over. :/ This is the culprit, why? Because it's the only thing I changed in my regimen so I would know. It's not hormonal because I only breakout around my chin/mouth area. If you don't have sensitive/clog prone skin, this would be a good night time moisturizer for you.
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - 8-pan Palette "Comfort Zone"
lesliexyang 4/23/2011 7:18:00 PM
I like this product but then I don't. When I used the highlighted for my brow bone, I later found glitter on my nose and I was not to happy about it. There seems to be a lot of fallout with the product since it is so pigmented. I'd recommend tapping off your eyeshadow brushes before applying or else you'll end up with shadow on your face.
Bronzers -New York Color - Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder in Sunny 720
lesliexyang 4/23/2011 7:15:00 PM
My reason for giving this bronzer two lip pies is because it easily gets that film over it and I wash my bronzer brush everyday. I'm always having to scrape the top layer off so in reality..it's a hassle even though it's cheap. I went out and bought Bahama Mama by TheBalm. It gives a natural brown bronze, like I've been to Hawaii kinda tan lol.
Liquid -Lancome - Teint Idole ULTRA [DISCONTINUED]
lesliexyang 4/15/2011 1:31:00 PM
Ok first off let me say this is not a full coverage foundation. ELDW has a bit more coverage than this, just a bit more. This foundation is more medium. I have scars and redness, this evens out the skin tone for sure, but it doesn't hide imperfections. Pros: Looks natural Lasts long Good color election Cons: Expensive Not full coverage You will like this is you need something to even out your skin tone because it will stay on all day and look natural. Do not use this if you are looking for full coverage. I had to buy a concealer to cover my blemishes.

LOL at people who aren't getting this. These are so great for oil blotting!
