Shampoo -Suave - Professionals Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo
leoisillon 5/19/2013 10:01:00 AM
I have to say I like the smell of this product way better than many other dry shampoos I've tried in the past. Honestly some of them smell so bad it's not even worth using! This smells like flowers. It works really well too. I find that it absorbs oils and freshens my hair. The price is also just right. I love trying different dry shampoos so I may or may not repurchase depending if I can find something else I like better.

Self Tanners -SUN Laboratories - Ultra Dark Lotion
leoisillon 5/18/2013 9:13:00 AM
This product was great, don't get me wrong. I would not repurchase for economical reasons. It's bit pricey. I paid almost $30 dollars for mine. If I can find it for less online, then I'd consider re-buying. This did make my skin nice and dark instantly! You must use a tanning mitten or else you will have a dark stain on your hands that's difficult to wash off. I found if I got some on my hands I would have to wash right away or else they would be stained. I like how fast this product works. Almost instantly my legs got darker. The product smells like cherries to me.

Conditioner -Suave - Keratin Infusion Leave-In Conditioner
leoisillon 3/11/2013 2:58:00 PM
I absolutely love the way this makes my hair smell! It's a gorgeous, intoxicating scent. It actually does work and it leaves my hair nice and silky soft. I use it about 2x a week depending on if I can remember or not. I prefer to use it on dry or damp hair. I find that if I put on my hair when it's too wet, it can be hard to manage. I'd say this is definitely worth it for the price and I would get this product again!

Shampoo -Unlisted Brand - Salon Grafix Invisible Dry Spray Shampoo
leoisillon 3/9/2013 12:52:00 PM
I am always trying to find a good dry shampoo so I try different products all the time. I picked this up about 2 months ago. I was very excited about the "invisible"aspect of it. In the past my dry shampoos have left a white cast that is very difficult to brush/blend in to my dark brown-black hair. This did live up to the claim of not having a white powder residue. It smells nasty though. Almost like a cheap hair spray. The smell is just too much for me to handle and I couldn't wait to be finished with it. It performed ok. I did feel like it sort of made my hair look more refreshed and clean but I wouldn't recommend this product.

Foundations -Revlon - Nearly Naked Foundation
leoisillon 3/3/2013 9:30:00 AM
I purchased mine in the color "180 Medium Beige" and I have to say it was a perfect match. The color match chart that was on the display at my local drugstore really helped with selecting the correct shade. I have freckles and some minor dark spots from past acne. I generally like to have a Medium coverage. This product, as the name would imply, is a light coverage....almost tinted moisturizer coverage level. You can build it up to some degree but you will always be able to see dark spots or undereye circles. You have to use a concealer for those areas when wearing this foundation If you compare it to Revlon Color Stay it doesn't have that nasty "paint" smell to it and it blends much easier. The packaing is ok. I wish it had a pump but for the price I think you get a decent product. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and this did not break me out at all. I may consider purchasing again for the summer but for now I'm just trying to finish up what I have. I would like to try the powder that is from the same Nearly Naked line.

Bronzers -Wet 'n' Wild - Ticket to Brazil
leoisillon 3/3/2013 9:19:00 AM
I'm really happy I purchased this prodcut. You get a large amount for the price and if you can find it on sale or with a coupon even better! The color comes out matte. I don't notice any shimmer when I apply this. It is actually dark enough to show up on my medium skin tone. Most of the time drugstore bronzers just do not have enough pigmentation. I use this almost every day because it gives just the right amount of color to my face. I'd definitely repurchase. I don't really have any complaints about it. If I had to pick something to critique it would maybe be the packaging. It's slightly massive and proably wouldn't travel well.

Cleansers -Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser
leoisillon 2/8/2013 11:19:00 PM
I didn't think I was going to like this product but I'm happy to say that it works amazingly well! I have very sensitive skin so I needed something that would do the job of cleasing without breaking me out. For a couple years I had been using Mary Kay Timewise cleanser for Combo skin but that was getting too expensive and so I decided to pick this up. Glad that I did. It has an awesome pump and you only need pump it once really to get the right amount of product. I'd definitely repurchase.

Concealers -Palladio - Herbal Liquid Concealer
leoisillon 1/27/2013 9:33:00 AM
I purchased this in the shade called "banana". I don't know what I was thinking. I haven't had much luck with Palladio makeup; the only thing I kind of like is the loose “rice powder”. I had plans to use this as a corrector for my dark under eye circles. I thought at first I got a bad tube because I was able to put the product on but it wouldn't blend! It was very weird. Under one eye I could blend it ok. And when I say ok... I mean it took some work to get it blended. Under the other eye I wouldn't blend at all. I used a face towellete to wipe the rest of my makeup off and start with a clean slate. I had the same problem again. It's hard for me to tell if the tube I got was just bad or if the formula is terrible. What's strange is if the product were dried out it wouldn't glide on very well at all. This product was creamy and smooth upon application; it just didn't blend. To top it all off I could tell that even if it had blended as it should have it would not have been enough to correct my circles. This is going back as a return. I never deal with returns but when a product is as bad as this I have to.

Blush -Estee Lauder - Tender Blush - Peach Nuance
leoisillon 1/12/2013 8:30:00 AM
This blush attracted me because of how it has neat the gradient effect looks. It's a gorgeous dark peach that fades into a lighter peach color. I love almost all Estee Lauder products. I'm a huge fan of the brand. The packaging never disappoints me. So glamourous and the compact is sturdy with a nice sized mirror. The color is the reason why I would not repurchase this particular shade. It is too light for my skintone so it barely shows up unless I really pack it on. To give credit to this product, it does build color nicely and there's no shimmer. I just don't have that kind of time in the mornings and I usually go for a more dramatic blush. This is great for a natural look or even for the summer. I would try it in another color possibly. Is this discontinued? Just curious... I don't see it on the Estee Lauder site anymore.

Blush -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Blush 831E Pearlescent Pink
leoisillon 1/12/2013 8:16:00 AM
This a beautiful dark pink--almost berry blush. It is very pigmented and so a little goes a long way. It's very easy to over do it with this blush. It has some shimmer to it but it's not bad. I think the shimmer blends pretty well. You get a decent amount and what I like is it's easy for my brush to fit. I hate some packaging that makes it impossible for my brush to glide on easily. For the price this isn't a bad product at all. It does wear off about midday to late afternoon for me.

Eye Primer -NYX - HD High Definition Eyeshadow Base
leoisillon 1/12/2013 7:57:00 AM
I tried this primer a while back and I remember loving it. I have used quite a few primers and this one definitely helped to keep my eyeshadows looking great There was no creasing throughout the day. It lasts about 8 hrs or so on my oily eyelids but that's pretty good if you ask me for a drugstore product. It costs about $8-10 and I think it's worth a shot if you want to buy an affordable eye primer. I remember back in the day when I think L'Oreal was the only drugstore brand that made one (and it wan't even good) so I'm happy to see primers like this come onto the market. We gals don't have to spend tons of money on department store brands!

Lip Treatments -Maybelline - Baby Lips lip balm
leoisillon 1/6/2013 11:47:00 PM
I have the color "Peach Kiss 030". I bought it because I was looking for a neutral balm. I did get that with this product. It is very moisturizing and it adds a nude/light brown color that blends pretty well on my lips and matches my skintone. I am trying to finish mine so I apply it every morning while putting on my makeup so that I can moisturize my lips before putting on lipstick. It gets the job done but it's nothing super special to me. The packaging is kind of chintzy. It's a purple tube with pink writing on a plastic covering. I mean you get what you pay for but it's just too teeny-bopper looking and it doesn't do much for me. I'm not too into tinted balms so you also have to take that into consideration. The pigmentation is nice and the product is moisturizing---does it give "baby lips?" No, I wouldn't go that far...Overall, very average to me and I wouldn't rebuy.

Treatments -Garnier - Sleek and Shine Moroccan Sleek Oil Treatment
leoisillon 1/6/2013 11:36:00 PM
I love this product! For the price it's a great value. It has a thin consistency and the smell is gorgeous! I put it in my hair after I take a shower. I focus on the dry ends and then whatever is excess I put it on my crown or middle portion of my head. It leaves my hair smooth and silky. I also sometimes put it in my hair when it's dry to tame the frizzies. You have to be very careful to not use too much. I'm on my 2nd bottle and would glady repurchase this Moroccan oil because of the price point.

Lip Gloss -Avon - Slick Tint in Glossy Wine
leoisillon 1/6/2013 11:24:00 PM
I love the review that said it smelled like "farm animal"...cracked me up! I don't think it smells like that but I'm never really around barn animals so I could be wrong... it does have cheap, waxy scent to it but most cosmetic scents don't bother me. I absoltuely love the color. It's hard to find a red that works and this wine color red flatters my skintone however the formula leaves much to be desired. It has a yucky, girtty texture to it. At first I thought my lips were chapped but it's the balm. I tried it on moisturized lips and it still felt gritty. Such a gross, not cute look. Save your dollar and find a better product.

Cleansers -L'Oreal - Go 360 Clean Deep Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin
leoisillon 12/4/2012 8:48:00 PM
I had tried the formula for Combination skin (pink one) I think it was about a year back. That product made me break out BIG time and unfortunately the Sensitive skin version did too. I do like the srublet it comes with so I'll keep that but the rest of is going to be used to cleanse my makeup brushes not my face! It has a faint citrus scent and it does take off all my make up (including eye makeup) but I got cystic acne right away after using it. After a week of use my face looked terrible! Just terrible. I am sensitve to breakouts but this was more than the usual so I knew it was this product as it's the only thing I have changed. I'm going to go back to my Mary Kay Timewise for combo skin. Edit 1.06.13--please if you have super sensitive skin don't buy this. It took two weeks for my skin to recover from the breakouts I got when using this. I still have redness and scarring from the spots. There is somehting in this that I'm allergic to. My skin hates it. I'm done trying L'Oreal skincare.
