Fragrances -Prada - Infusion de Fleur d'Oranger Eau de Pafum Spray

I've seen some pretty horrible reviews here and have to put in view on this one--you girls are so wrong! Let's start here--if you are a Prada perfume lover, you will love this one. There is no doubt that Infusion d'Iris is the absolute best perfume of the bunch, but this takes a close second in terms of that category of "fruitier" perfumes (meaning, the neroli). All Prada scents have a common thread--very musky and sexy and have some musty (in a good way) floral scents. This one does not smell AT ALL citrusy in the sense that it pinches the nose but it smells sexy citrusy. In terms of staying power, I do agree, this does not last as long as the Infusion d'Iris but I think the staying power is decent. In many ways, it's kind of nice..if you wear it with the lotion, as you walk or take off your sweater, you smell the scent coming and going, not this overpowering odor. I would highly recommend this. I think it's great for year round.
I bought this quad a while ago and used it for the first time this morning and it's great! I applied it in my room which doesn't have the best lighting and was mistakenly dissapointed with the color pigmentation...until I saw myself in better light and was taken aback. It's a beautiful and natural looking combination of lights and darks and is great for layering the color. If you want more intensity in the colors, I recommend moving your brush in a circular motion and patting in the color. This is a good tip if you want to increase the intensity of the dark plum/brown. I was very pleased with the lasting power of the shadows. I applied it at 7 in the morning, came home at 5, took a nap and still the color was there, only the slightest creasing, unlike Stila (whose shadows I do love) which creases midday. People here have complained that the eyeshadow quality is dated because it isn't finely milled. Well, ladies, too finely milled shadow = creasing! The larger the eyeshadow particles, the longer it lasts! I would highly recommend using this eyeshadow with Chanel's Ambre or Black Jade eyeliner. They both look stunning!
Makeup Brushes -Chanel - Foundation Brush (Synthetic Fibers)

As all the reviews here say, a great brush which lasts a long time! Provides a flawless finish and is great for blending. The one person that said it makes the foundation look streaky is either not blending enough or has bad foundation. I have been using one of YSL's foundations and find the brush to be wonderful. Purchase this!
Eye Shadow -Yves Saint Laurent - 4 Colour Harmony for Eyes Tawny 5

This is a newer addition to the YSL eyeshadow line. Contains 4 colors which are all beautiful and look especially unique together: a dark brown, a light brown, a dark plum and a matte teal. I was particularly attracted to this palette from the others because of the teal which looks FANTASTIC with their waterproof teal mascara. If you get this one, I would give your eye a wash with the light brown, use the dark brown in the crease, the plum in the outer corner of the eye and the teal in the inner corner and on the bottom outer lash line. I'm telling you, it looks stunning!
Chanel nailpolishes are naturally expensive so that isn't even an issue. I love Wonderland for its pretty and unique color but the only thing that is negative about this one is that it takes forever to dry. And this is in comparison to other Chanel nailpolishes which we all know take forever to dry! I think it has to do with the small sparkly specks in the polish. If you buy this one, I would recommend that you only use one coat (and apply more thickly) because two coats don't really make a difference in the color. Other than that, would recommend it!
I love Chanel nailpolishes for their quality and color and this one is no different! A PERFECT pearly white...not too opaque and not too pearly either. Very young and pretty looking and appears to be complimentary to most skin tones. Would definitely recommend it!
This is a lovely color from the Summer '06 line. It is a light orange/peachy color with shimmer. A fun, young, color that lasts a long time. Really worth buying, and different!
This color is new for Spring '06. I bought it a month ago and just tried it this week and I love it! It is a beautiful girly bubblegum pink with shimmer, not too opaque and looks great on hands and toes. My boyfriend even said he liked it, on his own, and he isn't one for complimenting makeup colors. It's a really pretty classic color with a young feel and is really worth buying!
Polishes -Chanel - Le Vernis Nail Colour in Vamp #18

This color is the bomb--one of the best nailpolishes out there ANYWHERE.
Too bad this color is discontinued--I love it! It is a hot pink/purple color that is awesome for the summer. I have gotten so many compliments on it and nothing that Chanel has made since then has matched to it. (Boa just doesn't do it for me). If you can find this product on eBay, get it!
This is the perfect red for fall. It is a medium red with a bit of blue tones in it. Goes well with any outfit and looks gorgeous on my pale skin. Worth it!
This is literally the BEST primer out on the market, no questions asked.
This is a very sheer light lipstick with a lot of sparkles in it. It reminds me of an old YSL lipstick that I had years ago which was discontinued. It looks quite purple in the tube but actually comes out on my lips like a sheer pink with shimmer. It's a perfect color for spring, and it worth buying!
Highlighters -Yves Saint Laurent - Touche Eclat No 1

I love this product! For people that don't want to look like you are wearing a lot of foundation and concealer but yet have great coverage, this product is for you. It is very natural looking and covers up the dark circles under my eyes. As much as people tell you that this product doesn't crease, they are wrong. I find that all concealers crease a little, at least on my eyes, which are deep-set, but this definitely doesn't crease as much as other heavier formulas out there. Get this-it is totally worth it and it's packaging is great for quick applications.
This nailpolish is very cool and is a nice change from the other more predictable colors out there. It is an opaque purple color which does not look tacky! I am very particular about looking cheap, tacky, etc. and this color does not embody any of those words. It is a fun, funky color and is definitely worth buying. I've also gotten a lot of compliments on it and after seeing it on me, my friend went out and bought one. Try it!
