This crease brush really does the job. The design couldn't be more perfect. Applies shadow evenly, makeup looks flawless, and it's quite easy to use. Another Trish winner.

Eye Shadow -Christian Dior - 5 Colour Eyeshadow - 705 Beige Massai (formerly Discretion)

I have said it many times, and here I say it again: Christian Dior eyeshadows are simply the finest there is. 705 is a fabulous collection, every color is not only usuable but perfect. They compliment each other and couldn't be better for enhancing eyes while looking very natural. Somehow the colors are at once subtle and yet defining. This compact is worth every penny and more.

This luxurious face brush is a special little treat. The packaging makes a girl feel like a princess, down to the black box with blue ribbons it comes in. It's standard Trish quality with an added asthetic kick. Certainly a steep investment though, so be sure that you won't feel the tinge of guilt that comes with this sort of extravagent purchase. I took the advice of fellow MUAers to purchase at E-Luxury for a hell of a deal. ~~~I do however have one concern: how can I safely and fully clean this brush? I'm afraid of causing a rust build-up or who knows what else~~~ The lipstick that comes in the Mother's Day gift set is, IMHO, simply hidious... a shame yes, but it's still a steal. The blush is just a wash of shimmer without much (if any) pigment. Very appropriate for use with a big brush to dust onto face and shoulders (or wherever) in the evening.

A fantastic buy! The set includes: ~Mini Powder Brush~ ~Mini Blush Brush~ ~Mini Large Eyeshadow Brush~ ~Mini Small Eyeshadow Brush~ ~Mini Wedge Brow Brush~ ~Mini Eyeliner Brush~ I don't have any of her full sized brushes, but I am fairly certain that these minis have the same size heads. They measure just 4 inches and come in a nylon brush pouch. The quality is astounding! They do not bare the 800 number or website (as I have read their larger counterparts do), they are simply solid black. The pouch is nothing special, but at $30 I'm not complaining. I purchased the lip brush seperately because it fits perfectly into the case. I cannot say enough how impressed and delighted I am with these adorable little brushes!

Treatments -Frederic Fekkai - Apple Cider Clearing Rinse

I use the rinse about once a week, sometimes less, to give it new life. I don't style my hair often, so in my case it isn't for removing product build up, but simply removing dullness. I don't know how the dullness gets there, but after using the rinse, it's gone. And it does not dry out my hair, in fact, it feels silkier than usual after each use. I shampoo, then use conditioner, then use the cider rinse. I am not sure that thats how it is meant to be used, but it works perfectly for me. I have fairly fine hair that shows signs of oiliness about 19-21 hours after shampooing, so drying out my hair is not a big concern. I don't know what it would do to someone with dry hair, but on my highlighted hair it's fine. It's definately pricey but I will rebuy, partially because it lasts me a long time, and partially because i don't know of any comprable products.

Eye Shadow -Paula Dorf - Eye Color Cream

I cannot believe I am the first to review this product! I have the eye color cream in crystal, and next time I go to a PD counter, I will try the other colors. It can be worn alone, but I use mine as an eye makeup base. I use my fingers to apply it from lash to brow, and then put on powder shadows. It really brightens the look, and improves the wear of the eye shadows. The color I have is not right for everything, and thats why I will be looking for it in other colors. Give this a try, its fabulous.

Lip Treatments -Shiseido - Lip Conditioner

This is the greatest! I wouldn't go anywhere without it, and everytime I begin to run out, I repurchase without hesitation. It is, without question, one of the top lip balms on the market. It looks great, it feels great, and it lasts for hours. I often wear it alone, but it works nicely under or over lip-color as well. The packaging is top notch. This should be a staple of every collection. Worth every penny!

I suppose this product works OK, but there are 3 negatives that I cannot get past. First, it leaves a white residue on my lips. Second the smell and taste make it almost unbearable. Third, with those 2 negatives, the price in absolutely not worth it. There are better products out there for less and for more.

Moisturizers -Kiehls - Ultra Facial Moisturizer with SPF 15

I have fairly dry skin and this product does not help very much on the moisture level. It also often leaves my skin looking shiny, which has almost never happened before. It doesn't irritate my skin, so I keep it around for days when I don't care about my appearence a lot and need an spf for my face. But really, it's no good for dry skin, no good for oily skin, and probably no good for normal skin. Don't waste your money on this one.

Styling Products -Paul Mitchell - Dry Wax

This is one of the best hair wax products I have tried. It really adds subtle texture to hair without leaving an unpleasant residue. I have medium-long fine hair, and a many products weigh it down or leave it feeling greasy but not this. I use it to give definition to the tips of my angled and layered hair. Smells great too.

Toners -Kiehls - Cucumber Herbal Toner

This is an OK product. I enjoy using this toner, the mild scent is soothing, and my skin reacts well to it, but it's nothing really special. Doesn't dry out skin, but it also doesn't do much of anything. I may finish my sample, but I wont be purchasing in the future.

I have been using this cleanser since it came out, and while I admit that I have strayed more than once, I always come back to it wondering why I ever put it aside. It's cheap and it works better than anything I have tried. I have fairly dry skin, slightly sensitive skin that loves this product. There have been days when I don't get a chance to tone and moisturize, yet my skin feels just fine. That is not everytime, but it has happened on several occasions during the summer months. In the wintertime, I have tried milk cleansers, but my skin never feels fresh and clean, and this is the answer to that problem. This product is absolutely perfect for somewhat dry skin types!

Lip Gloss -Revlon - Skinlights Glosslights for Lips

I have to say that this is a bargin buy. I would rate this over any clear MAC gloss in a second. It goes on smooth, and there is none of that gross lips-sticking-together action that is common among shiny lip plumping glosses. Doesn't begin to look or feel cheap like it's pricetag. Comprable to Lancome Juicy Tubes. I whole-heartedly recomend this to anyone

Eye Shadow -Chantecaille - Lemongrass shine eye shade

Pair this shine shade with the Lasting Eye Shadow Powder in Gingko and your eyes will pop in a very modern and classy new way. I love this product, and would buy again if I lost it, but becuase it is not an everyday color, it should last for a long time to come.
