To my un-trained nose, this L'Origan is a spicy concoction that brings to mind a pomander... An orange or other fruit pricked with fragrant cloves. It is long-lasting and marvelously inexpensive, but not for me. I s'pose that I've learned in the last few weeks visiting MUA that while I do like spicy fragrances more than I ever imagined, I don't particularly like foody/spicy combinations. Does that make sense? For example, Pierre Balmain's Ivoire is a spicy "floriental" and I do detect the spice, but there's nothing food-y in the fragrance. If you like fragrant, spices that are like pomanders, you should definitely try this. It is affordable and smells amazing and lasts longer than many of the expensive brands I've been sniffing lately!
