Used this product for about 2 months to try and tackle my cystic acne problem but it only made my skin much, much worse. They lure you in with picture of happy, smiling, pimple-free people so that you are 300% convinced that this is the holy grail in acne care. When I started using it, I found it very strong. After about a month, my skin was breaking out more than usual. I even took the time to write to them and voice my concerns... only to have them tell me that it's normal and that my skin was "purging" out all the bacteria - thus the extra pimples. BULL. So I decided to give it another month... and then something even worse happened. The peroxide in the product made my skin BURN - yes that's right - BURN. The whole center of my face (nose, cheeks) were tomato red and have never come back to normal since... and this was over 2 years ago. I can't believe I look like I have roseacea because of some stupid products that burned my skin. Please! If you need a good cleanser for acne-prone skin, use Murad... much softer and leaves a nice cooling sensation on your skin :)
Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Professional Size

What can I say about such a WONDERFUL product? I had tried many different primers in the past and they always came up short (creasing, not lasting all day, too tacky when dry). I tried this one for the first time when I bought the Naked Palette and got this as a sample. This stuff is like gold for eyeshadows! Goes on super smooth and dries to a transparent finish. Eyeshadows - any brand - go on smoothly and allow you to blend colors seamlessly. When I heard there was a professionnal size, I was like "WHAT?!?! I must have it!!". I enjoy the tube because you can squeeze out just the right amount. True story: I've put my makeup on at 6 am, slept with my makeup on (I know it's no good!) and woken up the next morning, literally 24 hours later, and my makeup was still flawless! Through crazy hot summer days, rigorous biking, aerobics, kick-boxing and dancing, this stuff never fails! I would never put on my eyeshadows without the primer potion! I just hope this stuff is never taken off the shelves!
I am a HUGE fan of Lancome's mascaras... I always try other brands and come back to my one true love... Lancome! I was so anxious to get this one from Sephora that I actually had the sales clerk get it for me from the backstore (it wasn't on the shelves yet!). I LOVE the tube with its beautufil charcoal glitter fading towards the top of the tube - very glam! I have long, straight lashes and use the Lancome Cils Booster XL underneath all my mascaras. Hypnose Star is by far my favorite one in the Hypnose collection. It thickens your lashes but makes them super long! I've had a few people tell me that I look like I put falsies on! The only downside is that if you wear concealer under your eyes, you must set it with a powder because the mascara will leak (no waterproof versions on the market - at least none that I know of). I also really love the brush. Twist it one way, and it's flat; perfect for getting down to the lashline. Twist it another way, and its triangular shape helps lengthen and separate lashes. Will definitely buy again!
BB Cream -Etude - Etude House Precious Mineral All Day Strong BB Cream

I used to wear BB cream all the time (MISSHA) and was fairly satisfied with both color and coverage. I thought I would try something new so I looked into this product. It is BY FAR the WORST BB cream I have ever used! Within a week, I broke out like crazy all over my chin. And I'm talking about painful, huge, cystic acne. I was even breaking out in places that I've never had pimples (cheeks, between my brows). Feels super thick on your face and everyone told me that I looked cakey. Becomes oily after about 1 hour. I will never buy this again.
Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation

I've got combination/oily T-zone/acne-prone skin (what a mouthful!) I bought this foundation at Sephora because I was totally devastated when I tried a BB cream from Etude House and I broke out like crazy! She recommended this one (I'm N117) because it's oil-free and won't clog pores. I put a primer underneath (M. Asam Perfect Teint) and apply one pump of this foundation over my entire face... At first I tried with a foundation brush but your fingers do the job just fine. It's AMAZING! Matches my skin color perfectly so I don't have to blend it in further down my neck. I'm a pretty active person (I bike to and from work... 4.5 miles) and this stuff holds up to about any weather! I do have to use a finishing powder (Bye-Bye Pores by IT Cosmetics) because if I don't, my skin will slightly absorb the makeup within about 4-5 hours. Feels SUPER light but offers amazing, buildable coverage that sets to a satiny matte finish. When I told someone I was wearing it, they said it looked like I had nothing on my face but that my skin looked flawless! I'm really satisfied with this foundation and will definitely buy it again!
