Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17

Okay, so I gave this foundation a real trial by fire. A metalcore, intense concert! How did it fare up? Brilliantly, if I'm honest. It lasted very, very well; it's also reassuring to find a pink-toned foundation for once, instead of constantly finding products much too yellow, or orange, for my cool toned skin. I found it a teeny bit hard to blend initially in BUT I would suggest mixing in a little bit of your moisturiser into it before application, and that should solve the problem. I recommend using this with a primer and a setting/matte powder for added staying power. Small note: my bottle has a pump, it's the newer one. I have no gripes with the packaging at all..

Liquid -Maybelline - SuperStay Makeup - New Version

Hate. Let me tell you how much I have come to hate this foundation, and I'll keep it snappy. 1. 24 hours? Didn't even last 8. 2. Blotchy and cakey. 3. Difficult to blend. 4. VERY VERY ORANGE. 5. Went shiny quickly. 6. Transferred easily - I had to blow my nose and it kept coming off on the tissue. 7. It made me break out all over my forehead. I have acne from the nose down. I haven't had acne on my forehead for roughly 2 years. I am never buying this again, and I am done with Maybelline foundation in general. I have bought three of their other foundations, and they sucked too.

Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Lipstain + Balm
lazergirlxbob 4/2/2011 5:41:00 AM
I once bought from the Just Bitten range when it was in a roll-on and only available in a few colours. I didn't like it then, as a product, but I decided to give it a second try now that they had re-vamped the range. Safe to say, I am still disappointed. Good news first, though. I love the colour payoff. I am quite pale and I felt brave, so I bought the darkest shade - because it sinks into my lips (which, funnily enough, are pale too) and ends up looking nice and natural. Also, that balm? I would use it instead of Carmex. Bad news. IT DOES NOT LAST! I'm 17 so naturally, I'm at school. Therefore I can't re-apply makeup freely, and I was hoping/expecting the stain to last all day. It lasted about 3 hours, and came right off when I got something to eat. Also, your lips need to be exfoliated and moisturised for it to be even. As well as this, I question the hygiene of the felt tip pen. All in all: good colour, doesn't last, bit too expensive - won't buy again until it's on sale.

Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Primer
lazergirlxbob 1/12/2010 3:24:00 PM
(I got this as a birthday gift, so I can't comment on the price.) The first time I used it, it was an amazing matte gel, just what I need for my oily T-zone. It lasted hours, which was great and I had no need for touch-ups. Then, something happened to the formula. It's gone from a light gel to an oily liquid, and I always store it with the lid on so I assume it can't be down to air exposure. Every single time I use it, it just makes me oilier and makes my foundation oxidise and go orange quicker. It pissed me off, considering I used to think so highly of the Smashbox range; and I have no clue if there's a way to restore it to its former glory. I will never buy this product again. I hate it now.

Hair Color -L'Oreal - Feria Haircolor
lazergirlxbob 12/14/2009 3:01:00 PM
ever since i started dyeing my hair, i used Live Colour XXL. i loved the end result, but it didn't last. so, i wanted an edgier colour that LASTED. i gave Feria a try, and i gotta say, i loved it. my colour has lasted and as it's faded it's become somewhat multi-tonal! it just depends what light i happen to be in. the only thing is, i dyed my hair from red > purple - the red went slightly plum-purple however, the colour has lasted magnificently, and has almost gotten prettier as it fades ^_^ i would recommend this to my friends - just not to redheads wishing to go purple lol. use a more neutral colour ie brown, and THEN switch to the purple in the Feria range.

Mascara -Bourjois - Yes to Volume No to Clumps
lazergirlxbob 11/9/2009 2:24:00 PM
There's a makeup shop not far from my town, and it sells products like Bourjois and Max Factor at discount prices. I'm glad that I only paid £5 for it. It's nothing special. I love Bourjois shadows, and their powder highlighter, so I guess I just got my hopes up. It's true to its name when it says No to Clumps - clump free, which was great. Downside? Not much volume; or length. I want OOMPH with my eyelashes, because I can't wear eyeshadow to school. Yes to Volume? Not really. No to Clumps? Indeed. It gave me feathered, separated lashes. That was it. I wouldn't get this again, and if I bought it for someone else, I still wouldn't pay full price. Certainly a let down on Bourjois' part!
