I took a chance and bought this on Amazon without having smelled it. I got it because I was watching Life in the Fab Lan episodes on Netflix (new to me because I didn't have the Style network when they aired on tv). I saw the episode when they were filming the commercial for the fragrance. Kimora Lee SImmons-Hounsou was describing the product and after seeing the commercial, I HAD to have it. Fortunately the reviews on Amazon were positive and I decided that even if I didn't like the product, I would have the beautiful bottle. So about the bottle: it is typical Kimora--glamorous. It is shaped like a loose diamond so it can lay any way on your vanity. The fragrance is light and perfect for the spring, summer and fall. Heck, you could wear this year round especially if you don't like heavy scents (even if they are more appropriate for winter). This could easily be a daily fragrance. I'm not sure what floral or fruit notes are in it (haven't gotten that far) but I know that I like it. I may buy a few more bottles on Amazon since it's really inexpensive right now.

This is my staple face wash and I alternate this with Purpose. It's gentle and gets the job done. It's also cheap!

Misc Beauty Tools -Olay - Professional Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System

So, after seeing this product in the stores, watching YT videos, reading reviews here, I finally took the plunge. What pushed me over the edge was I had a facial a few months ago and the aesthetician used a Clarisonic. It was the best facial I ever had and my skin was smooth for days. I determined it was the Clarisonic that made my skin feel so good. I immediately started researching it but when I saw the price tag, I was put off. So my mind went back to the Pro-X cleansing system that I'd seen for months in the drugstores. I finally tried it. So far, I like it! It definitely leaves your skin soft and smooth and primed for your moisturizer. I expect the benefits will increase as I continue to use it. I couldn't give it 5 stars because the battery case was hard to get off and this should have a little cap to cover the brush. Those are minor details in the grand scheme of things though. As always, Olay makes a fabulous product! Edited: It's been a few days and I'm loving it. My skin feels so soft and my makeup goes on much smoother.

I love this product! It makes my skin feel so smooth and soft. The very first time I brought this product (when it first came out) I returned it because it left my face so irritated. I don't know if the formulation changed but I decided to try it again because I didn't want to give up. Olay makes great products so I refused to accept this wouldn't work for me lol. I'm so glad I persisted! It's my HG exfoliation product. I just bought the Pro-X advanced cleansing system and I wonder if this can be used with the device for super exfoliation?

Fragrances -Coty - jovan white musk

I smelled this in Walmart over the weekend although I ended up getting Island Gardenia instead. I'm going back for this one this weekend. It's so not like the Jovan musk with the orange top. (I remember getting that one for Christmas one year as a teen and it was too strong.) This is a very light, powdery scent. It's not too strong. And for $11, the price can't be beat. This is a good day scent to keep in rotation.

Foundations -Maybelline - Dream Matte Mousse

This is a great foundation. I have oily/combo skin so I haven't had problems with oiliness. I usually use this with bare escentuals on top. A makeup artist at a Saks Fifth Avenue makeup event asked me what foundation I was using and said to keep using whatever I was using because it looks natural. I sometimes buy 2 at a time in my shade because some stores don't have it. It usually lasts 1-1.5 months with daily use. I'm very happy with it and think it's worth a try. It's much better than liquid foundation because it doesn't feel heavy and is easy to apply.

Fragrances -Coty - Jovan Island Gardenia

Great inexpensive perfume. I don't usually do floral fragrances, but I'm trying to move from the usual vanilla and other exotic fruit scents. This one smells great and lasts a long time. I tend to be heavy handed with it since it's so cheap but a little does go a long way. Interesting that other people have said it has a retro vibe. I also had the same sense from this perfume that it's more classy than sexy. This is a great go-to perfume for daytime.

A very subtle yet sexy fragrance. I love the bottle too! My only critique is the scent doesn't last long. It's a beautiful lush fragrance though. OK, a few days later and I *really* like this fragrance! Sometimes I catch a whiff of it and think, "wow, something smells really nice" and it's me! hahaha This scent is hot and sexy. I'm going to buy a few more bottles when I go back to walmart.
