Liquid -Giorgio Armani - Luminous Silk Foundation

I like this product because I'm acne prone and my skin is always the clearest when using this foundation. It has good staying power for my combination skin. It can however, get oily looking or emphasize dry patches depending on the state of my skin. It's definitely a foundation that looks best when your skin underneath looks best. It provides sheer-light medium coverage. It won't cover red pimples but will make them look less noticeable. Color matching has been frustrating for me. 4.75 is a little too pink and 5 is a little yellow for me. 4.5 is too dark and too orange. Right now I'm using the 5. My best match has been studiofix powder in NW20. I hope they come out with more shades in this line.

Moisturizers -Arcona - Magic White Ice

Yikes, either this product or something else from the sensitive kit I purchased caused me little bumps all over my skin. I called Arcona and they told me it was the purging process, but after two months I decided to stop. Shortly my skin went back to normal. These were not large acne pimples, but little flesh colored pimples all over my skin, especially on areas I'm not break out prone. If you're sensitive or acne prone I'd be a little wary of trying this.

Blush -Rouge Bunny Rouge - Original Skin Blush-For Love of Roses in Gracilis
laurabelle0202 3/13/2013 8:05:00 PM
WOW. This blush looks like it was made for my complexion. I've never seen a blush look this good on my skin. They're always too orange, too pink, too fake looking. I've used so many brands. I'd describe this as a cool toned plum color. The manufacturer's website says this is best suited for pale cool toned skin, which is exactly me. I'm not sure if you have other coloring if this would look as good, BUT the rouge bunny website has skin tone recommendations for all of their blush shades so I'm sure you'd find a great match. I'm so glad I ordered this blush based on the reco for my skin.

Liquid -Urban Decay - Naked Skin

I like this foundation. It's natural looking yet covers well. I wish the color range was better for us fair pink toned gals. The lightest shade .5 is waay too light for me. Yet the next shade up with pink undertones is 3.5. It's a bit of a jump between the two. The 3.5 worked for me this summer, but now it's a little too dark and the .5 is still too light on me. If I mix the 3.5 with some samples of .5 I got at Sephora it's a good match. I'll have to decide whether to buy both colors and continue to mix or find something else.

Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Anti Wrinkle Anti Blemish Cream

This has been one of the few moisturizers to help control my acne. I'm not sure if I noticed a ton of anti-wrinkle benefits yet. But I really like and I'm on my second tube. I wish it was slightly more moisturizing. But overall does a great job.

Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation
laurabelle0202 7/27/2012 11:11:00 PM
I wanted to like this product. The HD invisible idea on your skin sounded great to me. However, when applied it emphasized lots of little flakes and dry areas on my skin. And I don't have dry skin! I even tried with exfoliating first and adding more moisturizer than usual. I'm giving it 2 stars for shade selection. The 115 was a close match. Slightly light on my nw20 skin. This looked really nice from far away, but close up you could see tons of flakes and imperfections!! Kind of defeated the purpose of HD
