I've found this scent to be just so interesting. I think it probably is best suited to colder months, because it has this really warm, spiciness to it. I love it! Sometime, I think it smells more like a fragrance for a man, but I don't care I've worn mens colognes off and on since I was a teenager.... Maybe that's part of why it appeals to me so much. The Jo Malone guy in Neimans tonight told me that they're hoping for a candle this fall in the scent - fingers crossed!

Accessories -Renee Rouleau - toning cloths

I have to agree with everyone else, these are some special little cloth sqares and I've never seen anything like them anywhere else. Love them and totally worth the cost. The make my toner last forever, even with me being fairly generous in the application. Love them!

Cleansers -Renee Rouleau - Purifying Face Wash

Yeah, I really like this cleanser. I've bought it twice now and will probably keep buying it because it doesn't dry me out in the winter, and so far, now that it's getting warmer it's doing a nice job with the oilies. It has a very light fragrance, and doesn't really foam at all - which doesn't bother me. My only complaint is the 6 oz. bottle, for the price you should get 8 oz.

Moisturizers -Renee Rouleau - Daily Protection SPF 30

I keep trying this product in hopes that it's not going to cause those little white bumps, but everytime I'm so disappointed! I'll take it out of the rotation in the morning and no bumps that day - it can't be a coincidence. I tried it today without any makeup just to see, and there buy 5:00 were the bumps. My search goes on, I'm just thankful that my makeup has SPF so I'm not totally desperate.

Fragrances -Philosophy - Falling in Love

I've been wearing Falling in Love for the last week and find I really like it. It's not my usual sort of fragrance as I tend to like Oriental / Woodsy type fragrances more often than not. For Spring and Summer, though, I think is going to be just the thing. It stays on very nicely, and has a lovely lingering fruitiness that's both light and intriguing.

This is probably my favorite of RR skincare products that I bought. I love the texture, it's light but not non-existant. It has a very light scent, I can barely smell it. It absorbs quickly, is never greasy, and leaves my skin feeling perfect. I have combo/sensitive/acne prone skin and I'm getting older - this stuff rocks! UPDATE:I have to add a little something here - I just purchased this for the second time (04/21/06), and they've changed the container to a sort of tube (the same sort of packaging as the SPF). As a result of this change it went from a 2 oz. tub, to a 1.8 oz tube and the price didn't get lower for less product. This bothers me but not enough to not buy it anymore, next time I go to the salon though I'm going to mention it because I didn't mind the tub and I liked the amount better before.

Fragrances -Annick Goutal - Heure Exquise

Heure Exquise is probably one of my all time favorite scents - right up there with Chanel 19 (which, on me, does smell very similar to Heure Exquise). I go back and forth between the two fragrances, and an occasional detour into something entirely different like Philosphy's Falling in Love. I've bought this scent over and over, and will continue to purchase it as it is as close as I have found to my HG. My only complaint is that it fades fairly quickly on me, except if I get a nice spray on the back of my neck and in my hair, then I can smell it for hours. I think it's an elegant, rich, grown-up scent. Lovely and timeless.
