Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation

I have medium light skin with yellow undertones. I chose this foundation in shade 120 and it matches beautifully, to the point were I am unable to tell which sections of my face have makeup or not. I expected this to have fuller coverage than it did, but I'm still satisfied with the product, as well as impressed. If you have very bad blemishes or scars, this most likely won't cover them, and you'll most likely need concealer. Luckily my skin is mostly even besides dark undereyes, a few acne scars, redness around my nose, and a few tiny sun spots. Although, everyone has probably seen diamondsandheels14's youtube video where she uses MUFE hd to completely cover her really bad acne, I can't seem to cover minor blemishes nearly as good with this product. I'm so accostomed to using other thicker and heavier makeup, that when I look in the mirror, I can easily notice it. When applying this foundation, I can't see it on my face, no matter how hard I try, it's literally "invisible" which makes me feel like I need to apply until I can notice it, but I stop myself, since that's what it's supposed to do. This is the type of foundation that when applied correctly, you'll be able to pick up one of those 9x magnification mirrors from target/cvs/walmart/home/etc and you won't be able to see the makeup at all, yet your skin will look very even, and beauutifull! Also, with this foundation, unlike others, I'm able to comfortably walk outdoors; be outside on rainy days; harsh indoor lighting; and rooms with insane sunlight peeking through...all without getting anxious about how cakey or disgusting my makeup looks. This is definitely the type of makeup you'd wear if you plan on "looking good" outdoors. Another thing I need to mention, If you have insanely dry skin, such as myself, you might not enjoy this product. Especially now since it's getting pretty cold out (snowing today) I had to pile on moisturizer beforehand, and actually mix lotion with the first layer of the foundation in order for it not to get flaky and cakey. I can't use primer with this because it seems to make my face dryer?(probably the specific primer I'm using) But although I don't use primer with it, no powder on top, and no finishing dust/spray, this product lasts the entire day on my face. Also, I've fallen asleep with this on my face twice so far (bad, i know) and when I woke up, I didn't notice any makeup on my face (assuming it rubbed off) until I actually washed it off and realized how horrible my actual skin looked. This is definitely for those who want some coverage but do not want anyone to "tell" that they have makeup on. For anyone who complains about this product being cakey, they are most likely applying to much, or applying it weirdly. This looks best with 1-2 thin and even layers and concealer for whatever is still peaking through. pros- looks beautiful evens skin tone photographs well looks insanely natural, great for sunlight/outdoors/harsh lighting good color selection pump cons- not moisturizing as advertized doesn't cover everything price pump is hard to control at times

I'm about an nc25-nc30 with dry skin and yellow undertones. I originally purchased this in Buff after doing lots of research on what color I should get. Buff was recommended by a lot of people for pale yellow-toned people such as myself. I applied a small amount along my jaw area and it appeared to blend into my skin perfectly. Later after removing all my usual makeup, I applied this onto my entire face to test out the product along with the color match. This product applied wonderfully with my fingers and blended really nice. My makeup looked almost perfect...BESIDES THE FACT that the color of my face didn't match the rest of my body. Buff gave my face a washed out, slightly grey, and pale face. After using a super yellow-based powder sample I received from everydayminerals ontop of the colorstay whipped in BUFF, I looked more like myself. Sadly, some of the washed out tones were still peeking through. I began seriously contemplating about mixing yellow food dye into the foundation. So since I had a darker shade in the original colorstay liquid that matched me in the summertime, I decided to mix the two together. BIG MISTAKE, it turned even more grey and destroyed the beautiful finish the whipped makeup had on the skin. It left me with a horrendous unnatural finish even though the products look great on their own! I looked at my face in natural lighting and saw pores around my mouth and lips that I don't have without any makeup on. So since I loved the look this foundation had on the skin, I stopped experimenting and decided to try out another shade. I've had this shade problem with the original colorstay liquid, I can't seem to find a shade that matches me. Every supposed "yellow-toned" shade in the colorstay range appears so neutral on my skin that its actually grey. I don't remember coming across any grey-skined individuals in the world. After watching plenty of videos and reading lots of reviews, I realized a lot of people use the shade warm golden. Many people say it has absolutely no yellow-tones, while others say its the perfect match for warm yellow-toned skin. I decided to see for myself. I purchased the warm golden, at first glance it does appear rather pinkish toned. On my face it looked a lot better. Although it was a tiny bit pinker then my actual skin me and slightly darker then my skin, its probably the closet match revlon colorstay whipped has to offer. I'm just ecstatic about the fact that I can layer on tons of this shade without my face turning into a grey mess!! With warm golden, my face looks slightly sunkissed, and ALIVE, unlike with the shade buff which completely washed me out. Buff might have matched me if i completely stopped going outdoors and stopped using self-tanner, which I'm not prepared to do. I'm pretty content with the shade warm golden for now but i might try out sand beige next? pros- -blends beautifully, leaving a short of airbrushed appearance -can be layered unlike the original liquid -also gives medium-full coverage when layered -can be applied sheer for a more natural look -longevity, last throughout the entire day -natural appearance on skin -doesn't dry fast, time to blend it into the skin -not as thick and cakey as the original liquid -although i need tons of lotion underneath, it's more moisturizing on my dry skin than the original formula cons- -shade range is horrendous for me personally -the packaging is very messy, I'm hardly home so I carry my makeup in my purse. This makeup gets on the lid although i still have my inside plastic cap-thing on also...I would like to note that I feel as if Buff dries slightly darker than when first appled, and Warm Golden seems to dry to a lighter shade than when first applies, i was wondering if anyone has had similar experiences?

I love this foundation!!!!!!! this foundation will give you healthy looking even toned skin. I'm about a nc25-nc35 depending on whether I'm wearing self tanner or not. I have this in shade 60 natural beige and it matches perfectly. i just wish it was slightly more yellow. Also, I don't recommend this product if you have oily skin or if you plan on being outdoors in the heat or somewhere where you'll be sweating because this product will most likely rub off/fade away. Otherwise, for those people with dry skin like me who can't get enough lotion on their face, this product will be great for you! Pros- buildable coverage glowing natural finish not cakey very moisturizing great everyday foundation blends easy doesn't look mask-like cons- transfers, rubs off has pretty decent, but not incredible lasting power =( you'll need concealer for hard to cover dark circles/blemishes since this won't cover them

If you can find a shade to fit your skin tone this will be an overall great product for you. This foundation will stay on your face for hours and hoursif that is what you're looking for. The main problem I had with this product is their color choices. I had to go through several bottles before finding the correct shade, and still haven't found something quite perfect. when i'm tanner I'm about an nc40. I've tried toast last summer and its a little too dark/pink. 350 rich tan works for me when I'm paler but is a little too pink According to color charts 330 Natural Tan is supposed to be a match to nc40/nc42 but it's still too pink and makes my face looks greyish and dirty by the end of the day. My 330 natural tan is in the normal/dry skin and after research a lot of people say the n/d skin formula is darker and pinker then the oily formula. so far 360 golden caramel looks the best on my skin but is still a little too pink but THANKFULLY it doesn't make my skin look dull as the other shades do... So i don't think I'll be repurchasing this product because I've purchased 4 bottles already and each shade I've tried makes doesn't match or it makes my face appear greyish and dull. Also, I've never had blackheads in my life until using this product. I've stopped using it for less then a week and my face already looks better. =D *****Edit... After trying out many other products, I've come to a conclusion that this is my favorite foundation, along with MUFE HD (that I've tried so far). Buff matches my skin when I'm pale, and golden beige is pretty decent for when I'm a little more tanned. Again, for reference I vary from an nc20-nc35 throughout the year. I'm thinking about buying coastal scents yellow color corrector and adding it to this produce to make the color a little more my skin-tone, wish me luck!

WOW! I'm in love with this product. After reading great reviews on this product from Sally's, I decided to purchase the spray treatment. Although haven't tried the regular serum yet, I think I'd rather repurchase the spray again because it's incredibly easy to apply. I've tried it on only dry hair so far and it's given great results! My hair is so smooth, shiny, and healthy looking with this product. I've used other serums that left my hair so greasy that i wanted to wash the product out, this product is nothing like that at all. Its almost as if all the product gets absorbed into my hair because it leaves no residue causing it not to feel greasy at all. I also wear extensions and after wearing them for months, straightening, curling and dying them multiple times they've become dry and not as smooth as my natural hair and have even gotten split ends. A few sprays of this product makes them so silky and almost new, it even makes the split ends disappear. Definitely will repurchase the spray treatment again when i run out!

Liquid -MAC - Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15

I've been looking for a full coverage foundation for a long time, this foundation gives excellent coverage and blends seamlessly into skin the only cons i have is that i can't wear this product on its own, its transferable and ends up all over my phone, also after wearing this product for an entire day i have visible streaks of foundation around my eyes where i apply the most product. if i use a tiny bit of the studio fix powder plus on top it completely solves both of these problem for me and stays flawlessly on my face the entire day also, it can accentuate pores around the cheek/nose if you're wearing too much product, but this is usually a problem with most full coverage foundations. just make sure you wipe off the excess makeup when done applying it all. another easy fix in general, a great product
