Simply amazing...over the past 3 months since using this at night with Skin Perfecting Lotion over it, my skin is lighter (in a normal way; not a freaky way) and more even and clear. Also MUCH smoother and clarified but I attribute this to use of Murad, La Vitton, and GNC vitamins!

I was surprised at how un sunscreeny this felt! It did neutralize red and felt nice going on!
I wear this everyday, with most everything. I've probably had 5 sticks of this. My favorite!
My favorite lip balm ever; been using it for years........I love how it looks, feels, and smells!
Cleans wonderfully, doesn't break me out. I love how it foams up and it even takes off my makeup!
I use this morning and night and I love it!!! It makes my sensitive acne prone skin smooth without being oily at all, and it's been about 85 here every day! I'll update soon.
I don't know why the smell of these products gets slammed...none to me...and I don't how the individual items do so well but not the kit. Well, I think maybe ppl overuse the gel? It clearly says if you're new, use it only at night for two weeks, then twice a day. Well, I've been using the kit for about 4 days and so far, it works really well. I will come back after 4 weeks to see how I fare! UPDATE: Week 5, and my skin looks nice and is more even. I am getting a few large pimples in strange places, but I hope that's just the trapped gunk coming out. Overall, I like it. My skin is SUPER sensitive and I use this without issues of any kind. Twice a day.
Skincare - Face -Murad - Moisturizing Acne Treatment Gel

So far I like this. I like that it vanishes into my skin as soon as I apply it. I also like that I can wear it under makeup without it balling up and feeling like a true "acne" medicine. It's really silky to apply and so far no bad reactions. I'll update this to see if it really helps this skin, but I love the idea of something that hydrates and kills acne at once. I got this as part of the Optimal Health kit for acne prone skin, which contains the clarifying cleanser, this as the step 2, the spot treatment for big ones, and the oil free sunblock tint...everything seems nice and good for summer heat.
I used this on my body on vacation and I did not burn...but I don't like it for my face because of the avobenzone. Puttin On The Spritz is a better choice for my face.
I use Retin A Micro so my skin is a little irritated lately; I like to use this oil in the morning, over my Duac gel or on nights when I don't use RAM; it's a treat for my skin. I have not experienced purging. I want to use this as much as I can since I know it works together with the cleansing oil. I think La Vitton...and RAM...have saved my face. But, I began La Vitton products before using RAM and my face was already starting to be calmer and clearer. I love it! And I am a total acne prone....
Cleansers -La Vitton - Water-soluble Facial Cleansing Oil

so far, so good with this! i am acne prone and sensitive and I also use this with the rejuvinating oil. This takes off all my makeup and doesn't leave me red and irritated like EVERYTHING else does. I have not gotten the purging yet, but I will update if so. I must add that every other night, I use Duac gel to control breakouts. I rotate with the facial oil....love this stuff! I may even use normal/dry come winter; I am using the oily/combo set.
Sunscreen -MD Formulations - total protector color 30 - tinted sunscreen
lanabean 4/16/2006 11:54:00 AM
I bought this in Light and it truly meshes right into my skin. I still get oily, but it looks very nice and feels nice. So far, no reaction to my oily, sens. acne prone skin. I will update this review if I find it bothers me but I generally do a lot of research before using something and this product looks A-ok! I top it with a little mineral powder and I'm good to go. I plan to try the regular (untinted) Total Protector 30 soon for summer days at the beach and whatnot.
Skincare - Face -Philosophy - Make-Up Optional 4-piece Kit

Okay, I'm torn with this. I have sensitive, acne prone skin. I am using the kit for almost one week, but I've already tweaked it and may tweak some more. I was using all 4 pieces twice a day. Hope in A Jar is too oily for me during the day under makeup, so I'm thinking of just using it at night. I love the cleanser and the serum, and I even called Philosophy to see if I could use the serum w/out moisturizer and they said yes. She recommended Hope in A Bottle to me over serum, but I plan to try and use Hope In A Jar sometimes during the day, and sometimes at night. I also may try and use the Oxygen Peel over the Microdelivery Peel, as the Oxygen peel is more recommended for my skin type. I did use the Microdelivery Peel and love it, though. Great results. I also use Duac from the dermatologist. I was going to stop using it, but I plan to use it every other night and see how I do. Since that is very drying, the HIAJ might be very good for my skin, and despite what others say, you CAN use it sparingly if you breakout. As for the smell, it's fine. I don't get all the drama about the "horrid" smell. This is one review I will be updating. I am breaking out a little, but I think I'm purging. I must say that the tone is better after only a week. UPDATE: THIS IS GOING BACK TO SEPHORA TOMORROW. I HAVE HORRENDOUS BUMPS ALL OVER MY FOREHEAD AND I CAN'T USE THIS STUFF ALL TOGETHER.
This is very pretty but boy does it stain my fingers when I apply it! A nice sheer red. I don't use it on my cheeks, though. Lips only! Nice in winter!
Okay, I am so happy to see these reviews b/c I just picked this up for my DH as part of his Christmas gift and I'm happy I did! It smelled so sexy I couldn't resist. I hope he likes it!
