Skincare - Body -The Body Shop - Shea Shower Cream

Since I love the mild smell of shea, I love this product. I use it in winter to moisturize my dry skin.
The word 'rose' means 'pink' in Dutch/German. It has nothing to do with the flower, and so it doesn't smell like roses. It just leaves a hint of pink on your lips.
I have bought this soap several times. I use it to wash my hands. It doesn't dry them out. I will use it under the shower, too, now I've read that other people use it like that. I don't think it's that expensive at all. It costs 3,50 euros over here.
Skincare - Body -The Body Shop - Shea Beautifying Oil

First of all: the package is BAD. The testers in the stores have a spray top. Wish they would put it on the bottles they sell, as well. I like this stuff. My fav TBS scent is shea. This oil also has the lovely subtle scent of shea. I have used it on the ends of my hair and on my hands. I'm not sure I want it on my face since it contains so much perfume. I'm not sure what other uses it has. Maybe i'll use it after shaving my legs or even as a shaving oil.
Lip Treatments -Smith's Rosebud Salve - Smith's Rosebud Salve

I think this stuff is a bit overrated. I don't like the smell very much. It doesn't work any better than any brand vaseline. BIG con is the price: Here in Holland the tin costs over 10 euros.
I have very flaky lips, all year round. This stuff takes care of this. It's such an simple product. It consists of sugar. With added colour and flavour. It's very expensive for what it is. But it just works. The only problem is, that it tastes so good I lick my lips afterwards, drying out my lips....causing new flakes...
Masks -Paula's Choice - skin recovery hydrating treatment mask

I don't use this as a mask. I use it in the winter, as a moisturizer. I use to get very dry skin in the winter and this moisturizes very well.
Tinted Moisturizer -Paula's Choice - Barely There Sheer Matte Tint SPF 20

Pro: perfect color for my skin tone. I have very pale, yellow based skin. This stuff evens my skintone out, without looking like 'pancake'. The package is perfect, and very hygienic. Con: it's VERY expensive.
Have used for 10 years. Meets my expectations.
This scent is a close second to Karma. I'm a big fam of spicy and warm scents and this is a good example. It's very sexy and spicy. It contains mimosa, geranium, rose, ylang-ylang and jasmine. It doesn't smell like ginger, though. People say the smell is similar to L'air du Temps from Nina Ricci. I wouldn't know, because I've never smelt that perfume.
This stuff is perfect. I have very dry skin and I usually use Hy Ol from Babor, which is an oil-based cleanser. Ultrabland is also an oil-based cleanser, but it has a different consistency. It's thick like sticky body butter. I always take a peanut size of the stuff. It melts on my face. Then I take it of with a washcloth soaked in hot water. I found that is the only way to remove; cotton pads and water only don't do the job. I used it to remove my Halloween-make-up and it slid right off.
I really love this product. My skin is very dry and most cleansers leave a dry feeling on my skin. I can't use any face wash either. But this stuff is the best. I use 2 pumps of the Ol and 1 pump of the base, that's enough for my face. Then I lather up with some wather and it rinses right off. I usually put it on my face and then wash it off in the shower. It doesn't leave a greasy feeling at all. It also removes my waterproof mascara perfectly.
This is one of the most fascinating Lush scents I've smelt sofar. I'm magically drawn to patchouli scents, so of course Karma is also one of my favs. Also love the colour, and the smell lasts all day, also a very rare, but cool feature of this awesome stuff. Will always keep buying it!!
Moisturizers -The Body Shop - Aloe Soothing Moisture Lotion SPF 15

I'm always looking for the perfect moisturizer with high SPF. But I noticed that the higher the SPF level is, the less moisturizing the creams are. But not for this lotion. It's a thinnish lotion, but it spreads like oil, very smooth and evenly. It's not greasy, though. It moisturizes my skin all day, even in the winter. And my skin get VERY dry in the winter...I have very sensitive skin which turns red easily and gets irritated from perfumed creams and sun lotions. The package is perfect; it comes in a tube, so it's very hygienic and easy to carry around. Only disadvantage is the price.
