Liquid -Bourjois - Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation
lalawashere 2/19/2013 3:20:00 AM
This is an excellent light-coverage foundation that is also a bit moisturising. It has excellent colour (52) without pulling too pink or pale. It suited my fair-medium skin nicely. It has a peachy fruity smell that is quite pleasant that fades in 10minutes. It lasts 5-6 hours without fading a little. I recommend this to those that have almost perfect skin but want to look a little bit more polished. I don't recommend this for troublesome blemished or acne-prone skin as it does not have enough coverage and can create oiliness or more breakouts. The only downside is that I would like at least medium coverage for this but hey thats what the original healthy mix is for, isn't it? Go get this if you want a natural everyday light n' fresh foundation!

Mascara -Maybelline - Magnum Volum Express Waterproof Mascara
lalawashere 2/17/2013 11:30:00 PM
Wow! This made my lashes like very lengthened and curled! It has a slightly drier formula compared to xxl curl power and it defines lashes well. Very good mascara available only in Asia but you can find it on ebay for less than $10AUD. I got mine for $7 which is a steal. I recommend this for anyone looking for a good curling and defining mascara thats also waterproof. :)

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Bamboo Foundation Brush
lalawashere 2/13/2013 11:42:00 PM
This foundation brush goes on a bit streaky but a bit more blending helps make it even. You also have to use more foundation with this brush which is a no-no. The price is dirt cheap like $3.30 on ebay! I also got one for $6 but its okay anyway. This is a pretty good beginner brush but if only it didn't streak this would be perfect. I would definately buy this again!

Bronzers -Rimmel - Natural Bronzer - 22 Sun Bronze
lalawashere 2/12/2013 3:59:00 AM
This is a light bronzer with a subtle sheen and you would need some hard swirls on it before you see any results because it is not very pigmented. This is a decent everyday budget bronzer for light to medium skintones. I don't recommend this to those with oily skin because it has a sheen but it should be okay. Good overall.

Mascara -Maybelline - XXL Curl Power
lalawashere 2/5/2013 2:30:00 AM
Very very good mascara. It curls, lengthens and lengthens, this is almost HG mascara for me but could be tweaked a bit to be even better! The primer is white and I thought that it was mouldy but it actually isn't! The primer is very useful and you can use it for other black mascaras as well. The black end is also very good and volumising. This definitely could hold a curl without clumping if you don't apply too much. Overall this is something you should try! :)

Mascara -Napoleon Perdis - Whole Lotta Lash
lalawashere 2/5/2013 2:20:00 AM
Decent curl, defined one by one lashes and good black colour. Free from a magazine for ten dollars. I think it's a pretty good mascara if you want a defined individual lashes look. It curls and holds okay but nothing too dramatic. It doesn't specifically volumise or lengthen but it does make it more visible. It volumises more than it lengthens. Overall, If you want a natural looking mascara then go for this.

Fragrances -Coty - Super G by Harajuku Lovers
lalawashere 5/21/2012 8:00:00 AM
My first whiff of this reminded me of a passionfruit fruits basket, but came to MUA and found out it was actually bananas! Intriguing, to say the least. I can detect plenty of fruity notes and this is perfect to wear in summer. Teens to women in the their twenties can pull this off well. <3 This was a gift from my sister and we loved the packaging, the 'Super G' phrase is an in-joke between us. :)

Palettes -Stila - Dream in Full Color Palette
lalawashere 4/23/2012 1:54:00 AM
Well this palette is pretty, which is the main reason I bought it. It is in a dreamcatcher design. I dropped this palette and HELL, the pan came out. So for me, it is very hard to place and close this. The packaging is just pretty, not sturdy! The eyeshadows have a nice selection of colours and finishes. Consisting most of frosts and shimmers, even the few matte ones have a bit of tiny glitter in it. The pigmentation is good but the blushes really bombed out. I have never encountered blushes that were so...'invisible'. So the blushes remain unused til' this day. It also comes with a booklet showing you how to create certain looks. Well its pretty useless now that the palette broke, and the numbers are confusing. I have tried the 'Mirage look', before and it is gorgeous. The other looks aren't really worth trying. The main e/s I go for are Kitten (the middle one) and the copper and green ones. I gave the price a 5-cost $75, I could find far better palettes out there for the pricetag! Packaging is a 2, Due to it breaking so easily, gave it a 2 instead of a 1 because of the novel design. And of course, I definately wouldn't buy this again. Two words -DON'T BOTHER.

Eye Primer -Too Faced - Shadow Insurance, Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer
lalawashere 4/22/2012 12:25:00 AM
My first eyeshadow primer which is absolutely HG status for me! The packaging, for starters, is in tube form and has an elegant design. It is very economical and convenient -you don't waste any product with a wand (like UDPP). I have this eyeshadow that really lacks pigment when worn on its own (Mac Mega Metal eyeshadow in Mating Call). But I decided to try it after Too Faced Shadow Insurance and the colour actually showed up! Sweet.
I have also tried this product underneath Maybelline Color Tattoo, which to my disappointment, gives an uneven base and doesn't spread well. So use the Color Tattoo by itself.
The price is pretty steep at Kit Cosmetics in Australia at $35, so I bought mine on ebay for $12

Blush -NYX - pinched
lalawashere 4/4/2012 5:08:00 AM
Bought this from seeing reviews claiming it to be a dupe for NARS Orgasm. I don't have it to compare but this is a beautiful blush that mixes shades of pink, peach and coral. I can imagine it flattering all skin tones. This blush is just perfect for fine sunny days where you can see the glow that the shimmer brings out. You should absolutely get this if you have a medium skintone and/or crave Nars O but can't afford it.

Blush -NYX - Rouge Cream Blush - Red Cheek
lalawashere 4/4/2012 4:48:00 AM
This a very bright and pigmented red cream blush. This is the most sublime winter blush that gives a rosey porcelain-doll look. This lasts beautifully as well and fades to a natural glow. You need the tiniest dab on your finger or you risk overapplying and looking like a clown. I only use this occassionally when I have time to blend it out, so I find this can last a whole lifetime (if there was no such thing as expiration dates!)

Blush -NYX - Pinky
lalawashere 4/3/2012 6:23:00 AM
A lovely and bright porcelain doll pink! This texture is finely milled and lasts for the whole day on my skin. I really like this during winter when the extra colour doesn't hurt. This paired with a berry lipstain or pink lipgloss is just a phenomenal dolled-up look.

Blush -NYX - Peach
lalawashere 4/3/2012 6:18:00 AM
Very flattering matte light-peachy pink blush. I love how it has no shimmer which tends to look obvious and fake. This is the perfect everyday blush colour for skintones from very-light to medium. It just looks like the most natural flush on my cheeks. It is buildable if you find it too light. Go get this if you have been considering all these reviews on MUA. It is raved for a reason! (:

Blush -NYX - Rouge Cream Blush - Natural
lalawashere 4/3/2012 6:13:00 AM
Beautiful pinky-peach colour. Dupe for MAC's Ladyblush cremeblend blush. Great smooth texture and longevity. Has a bit of a glowy finish though which I don't really like so I add powder to mattify it. My lid broke during shipping and went into the product so I had to tape it up. Packaging could be a bit sturdier though! Awesome cream blush for the price and would last for at least a year!

Lipstick -NYX - Chic Red 516A
lalawashere 4/3/2012 6:08:00 AM
I really love this colour! A true classic matte red that is comparable to Revlon's Really Red. Smooth creamy formula but has an off-putting soap smell. I used NYX's Hot Red lipliner and used this liptick on top. Perfect! Worth trying if you are looking for a good-quality red lipstick that also cost next-to-nothing.
