This stuff is amazing. I was using an organic foundation which was my HG because my skin would look amazing after a long day of wearing it and it didn't make me break out. However, my cousin oversees (in France) gave me this foundation, she knows a lot more about international brands, european and asian, than I do. It's buttery texture melts right into your skin and looks like the flawlessness is your naked skin. Also so far I'm not having the itchy burning feeling on my skin which means that acne is emerging, the feeling I get with almost all artificial, less or non organic/natural foundations. With my old organic HG I had my mother telling me I was wearing too much makeup, but with By Terry, I just have near flawless skin.

Cleansers -Clarins - Pure Melt Cleansing Gel

There are a lot of complaints I've read in MUA about this cleansing oil but one thing you have to do before rinsing off fully is to emulsify. How you do that is when your face is dry with the gel on it, get some water onto your hands rub onto your face, the product will react to the water, then after a good rubbing, finally wash the makeup remover off. Without that step of emulsification, this will be definitely leave a greasy feel, otherwise if you emulsify, it's pretty AWESOME! Takes off make-up, then I follow with their foaming cleanser. Personally, oil emulsification makeup removers work best for me with the least irritation (if any at all!). I have used DHC's version (recommended) and Shu Uemura (recommended, beautiful packaging) but they are hard to travel with. Clarins' version comes in a tube so I can take it on trips, sleepovers, etc. You also don't need too much, just enough to form a slick surface on your dry face. Then give it a rub for a bit, then add water to your hands (i like to make sure all product has been removed from my hands before moving onto the face) and EMULSIFY before rinsing. Or you will definitely have a greasy face after using this product.

Polishes -Wet 'n' Wild - Megalast Nail Color

Chanel dupes! Chanel dupes! Two of my long-lost Le Vernis favorites , Kabuki and Boa, I swear have been reincarnated as WNW's Candylicious and Through the Grapevine, or as close as possible, these were stolen out of my suitcase a while back. Even the formulation of these WNWs are pretty awesome cause they dry quickly and layer sheerly without sacrificing pigment. WNW's formula is denser however dry time and pigmentation is superior to any drugstore brand or mid-label, and closely matches Chanel's Le Vernis in general. I hope WNW continues to offer these same colors FOREVER and hopefully continue to religiously add new shades to the repetoire! I only have these two and the color "blaze" from another WNW line (bright opaque orange-ish pink-ish and excellent quality too), but I will be going back or more as soon as time permits me to hit up the drugstores.

Liquid -100 Percent Pure - HEALTHY SKIN FOUNDATION WITH SUPER FRUITS SPF 20 (full coverage / satin finish)

I'm so happy to have found this, it's now my HG foundation. I have a problem with other chemically based foundations where at the end of the day, when taken off, my skin looks very splotchy red and almost purple with a grey tint. Whatever chemicals I was exposed to with other foundations seemed to cook my skin and enhance my face with whiteheads and cystic acne. However--There's NO problem with this 100% Pure foundation! At the end of the day after taking it off (with Shu Uemura Skin Purifier), my skin looks almost radiant and rosy. In addition, this looks great on, it has a velvet finish and makes my skin look 100% naturally near perfect. I have oily/combo skin and my face doesn't look like an oil slick hit it at the end of the day, even if I forget to apply powder throughout the day. The shade white peach seems to be a perfect match for my hard to match color as well. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Liquid -Laura Mercier - Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation

This was my hg foundation for about 6 years! But during the past two years I've noticed how dull almost gray (with red spotted discolorations) my skin looks after i remove this from my face each night. Thought it was my relatively new cig smoking habit, work related stress, and even the humid climate here in the bay area (I'm originally from south orange county). But in addition to all these factors, Im now starting to think i have some sort of bioaccumulation from all the toxic chemicals from this foundation (just as 99% of all department store and drugstore makeup has) where my body simply cannot purge the toxic residues of this foundtion as quickly as I can put it on. I just tried using a more natural foundation (free of synthetic dyes and fragrances, mineral oil, parabens, sodium laural sulfate, etc etc) and now when i remove my makeup, my skin looks actually brighter, almost glowing. This LM product was great, providing full coverage that was light yet flawless, matching my skin tone, while also keeping me from breaking out, but now i see that there are consequences from repeated daily applications of chemically synthesized makeup, most notably foundation. More power to the people who can wear all these chemicals without damaging their skin but i think my HG foundation lies somewhere in the organic makeup isle!
