Liquid -Shu Uemura - Face Architect Smoothing Fluid Foundation
ladyv 1/21/2009 1:47:00 AM
It's an ok product. I don't see all the hypes about this foundation. I have combination skin with oily T zone area with some acne scars. Like many of the reviewers who has oily/combo skin, this did not last that long on me, and my T zone was oily before noon. by mid-afternoon, my face looks dirty. I didn't know what first, thinking why does my face look so dirty today? but i think the color changes or darkens on some areas after a while. Coverage is moderate to medium, I definitely have to use concealer to cover imperfections. Good thing about this is, when you put this on first, it blends really well and looks great right right after you apply this foundation. I love the texture, and it does look like you have good skin right after you apply this. maybe it's better for people with drier skin. I also love the packaging. I wanted to like it so much, and thought I liked for first couple days. I've been using this for about 2 weeks now, and I am sorry that this product dissapointed me a bit

Eye Shadow -TheBalm - Shady Lady Eyeshadow Palette
ladyv 12/5/2008 4:45:00 AM
I was eyeing TheBalm eyeshadows for a while, so when this palette came out this year, I didn't take a second look and bought it. However, when I tried to apply them on my eyes, I realized it was hard to match the colors together. The quality is great, very pretty colors, pigmented and smooth, but I can't seem to match the colors together. They would be great if they were applied individually or combine with some other eyeshadows that are not in the palette- or maybe I'm just not figuring it out yet. I can't seem to come out anything better than basic neutral eyes with it when there are 9 diff. shadows in this palette. Anyways, the colors are great and the quality is great. The price is very reasonable for what you get, and the packaging is great as well. I only selected I wouldn't buy this product again because I have way too many eyeshadows and very unlikely that I'll use this up at all.

Sunscreen -Clinique - Super City Block SPF 25
ladyv 2/20/2003 5:37:00 PM
This is an o.k sunscreen if it didn't broke me out. It gives very (very) sheer coverage, blends pretty easily and not as greasy as its older version(?) with SPF15. However it made me feel greasy after a few hours, and it definitely made me break out. I don't really like how it feels on my skin either. I never had any luck with Clinique, but this worked very well with my mom, so I thought it would be o.k with me too (it wasn't).It's not horrible, but I'm not buying it again.

Treatments (Eye) -Chanel - Precision Eye Lift
ladyv 2/15/2003 5:10:00 PM
It was just an ok product for me. I found out after the purchase that it was more for dark circles and puffiness (duh, found it out like a month after the use), not wrinkle care. Well, I don't really have dark circles, so it didn't really do anything for me. The application was smooth, and left a nice, non-greasy feeling without feeling heavy. But really didn't do too much for me. Sometimes it irritated my eyes.

Skincare - Face -Chanel - Precision Purifying Toner (Lotion Tendre)
ladyv 2/15/2003 5:02:00 PM
I hated this product. It stung my skin, dehydrated my skin, and eventually, made me break out. I didn't know where the break out came from, but it stopped almost right after stop using this product. Scent was refreshing, but too strong for my semi-sensitive skin. I think the Precision line is awful in general. I also had this cumcumber smelling moisturizer which i hate as well. Because of the price, I wanted to finish the bottle, but I couldn't stand it anymore and left it in my parent's house in Korea. Don't know what'll ever happen to it. It leaves eeky feeling after use too. ugh

Blush -NARS - Color Wash in Pussycat
ladyv 2/15/2003 4:49:00 PM
I like this as a lipstain. Never tried it on my cheeks. The color doesn't look like it'll look that great on my cheeks either (unless i want red cheeks?). I really like the color and how it shows on my lips. It gives a healthy stain on my lips without turning fuschia. On me, it goes on pretty red, not true red, but like the color after eating raspberry. It's actually one of my favorite color I use on my lips. It brightens up my skin tone in overall. The packaging is nice too, with brush-on applicator. It's somewhat hard to blend, so I usually use my fingers to blend. It doesn't last that long on me, unlike other reviews. however when used with clear lipgloss over it, it does stay put pretty long. I'd give it a 5 if it wasn't of weird smell which made me go hmmmmm, and after a few use I see some dust?? sitting on the bottom of the bottle. (kinda yucky) The price seems a little stiff for a small bottle, but i figured that it can last a lifetime!

Eye Shadow -La Femme - Sparkle Dusts
ladyv 2/12/2003 11:28:00 PM
I LOVE this product. It's very shimmery and lightweight. It lasts on your eyes forever without getting on the crease. Compared to MAC pigment, it's doesn't feel as soft and a little dry when apply it on your palm or hand. I thought it would all smear off after a few hours, but it stayed on all day long just as I put it on in the morning. The colors are beautiful, very pigmented, gives you lovely shimmer and slightly wet look. (Unlike how it feels on your skin). The price is really cheap too. I heard some of my friends in Korea rave about it, bought 6 of these(nuts), and loving every single one of them. It gives you the most irridescent shimmer and colors. However, it was pain in the butt to get this. It took me almost a month to recieve the product. I wish it was available more comviniently.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Lash Architect Mascara [DISCONTINUED]
ladyv 2/12/2003 11:14:00 PM
Everybody seem to hate this mascara but I actually like it a LOT. Comes as close to loving it! It does what it's suppose to do, it curls, thickens and lenghthens. I didn't expect it to do all these, bought this on sale for $3 something, and thought if it turns out like crap oh well, I got fooled again. I was suprised that it actually turned out like the commercial. It absolutely makes lashes look like doll-"fake lashes". People have complimented on my eyelashes. However after 4monthes of using this, it does clump, but not as much as it is to be said, and the brush is HUGE. I really have to be careful it doesn't get on my eyelids. It seemed like it didnt' work for so many people, but it worked very well for me. The packaging isn't any special...plus the paint(?)on outside packakingit chips like crazy.

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Stay Natural Makeup
ladyv 2/12/2003 10:53:00 PM
I bought this after hearing all the raves from MUA. I loved it at first, it gave me a matte finish i didn't even really need powder over it and it stayed on ALL day long without sliding off or getting greasy, which was good for my combo-slightly oily skin. After a while, I realized that it gave me somewhat 'flat' look. I don't know it's because of its color (which was very flat with yellow, too neutral undertone) or because of the formula. Price is o.k I guess, a little high compared to other drugstore ones, but really good for its quality. Overall I like it, good product, but I want to try something else next time. I loved the staying power and matte finish, color match was pretty good. Just wish it could make skin look more "alive".
