I am so surprised there are mixed reviews with this fragrance!! I was walking through Holts and a SA gave me a spray on a card. I took and sniff and thought it smelt really good, so I went back and got her to spray some on my wrist. I walked around for several hours and fell in love with the smell. It's very different from other scents I have tried and the ones I own. It smells a bit fruity, sweet and fresh. I thought it complimented my body chemistry really well and even my boyfriend liked it on me. This is my favourite fragrance to wear now :) I definitely don't think this fragrance deserves the 1 star that some people gave it.
I really like this perfume. It has a classy/mature scent to it, which makes it great for the office. It's not too over powering and can be used for day or night time wear. Why did I say I would not buy it again? I have a 100ml bottle which lasts me a long time. Also, it is not my favourite scent, but it is my favourite scent for the office.
I tried the Light Brown / Fresh Maple in Natural Instincts. It made my hair more like a medium brown. I didn't want my hair to be that dark. I tried to let it fade... then I coloured my roots with the Herbashine colour in Light Brown. This colour did not take my roots at all! Looked like I didn't do anything to my hair!!! I ended up buying the Medium Ash Brown, I coloured my roots and they were too dark! So I had to pull the colour through the rest of my hair to match. I find that this colour is more like a dark brown. I am hoping it will fade. I like this hair colour, but I don't want it this dark.

I have used this hair colour about 5-6 times. I colour my hair every 3-4 weeks. I have blonde hair and I was colouring my hair red, my roots were showing up super fast and the red would fade, so I would re-colour it. I noticed that my hair started to get SUPER SUPER crunchy and dry. Parts of my hair started to break off. I have a feeling that this may have been the culprit. I use to use a different brand of hair colour (same deal, colour every 3-4 weeks) for almost 2 years without any problems. I think that there is something in this hair colour that is not good for my hair. It's been almost 6 weeks since the last time I used this hair colour. My hair is still crunchy in some areas, but it is slowly getting better.
For the past month my hair has gotten SUPER crunchy, brittle to the point where it started to break (from using too much protein in my hair!!!) I usually use SLS-free shampoos/conditioners, so I started to use a regular shampoo to wash my hair, thinking that it would get rid of any gunk. But that didn't work--it just made my hair worse! It was getting down right embarrassing to be seen with hair like this. Anyway, I tried deep conditioning my hair, but that didn't seem to help... so I finally tried this: a clarifying shampoo. I used it once and WOW -- my hair was not crunchy anymore! It was a miracle. This dried out my hair and made the colour fade (I have colout-treated hair), but I didn't care--I was happy to have no crunchiness in my hair anymore. I will continue to use this once a week for the next month, along with lots of moisture (with no protein), in order to get my hair back in shape. :) BTW: My hair is naturally wavy/curly, All the protein I used in my hair made is stick straight and crunchy. After using this shampoo, my hair went back to its natural texture!!!
Moisturizers -La Roche Posay - Effaclar Active Matt moisturizer

I bought this in a kit along with the cleanser. I have normal to dry skin, so this stuff isn't really catered towards me. Anyway, I used it once in the summer time and it left my skin feeling so dehydrated, which caused it to break out the next day. I thought this would be good as a summer time moisturizer since my skin gets combination during that time of year, but no luck.
Cleansers -Avalon Organics Botanicals - Vitamin C Facial Cleanser

I only used this once and it broke me out. I have used a DIY vitamin C serum and had no problems, so I am not sure what is this that broke me out. I also did not like the texture that it left on my face afterwards. I like that this is organic, but it didn't agree with me unfortunately.
Treatments -Neostrata - Skin Resurfacing Duo (Canada)

I got this for free when I bought the Skin Peel Solution. I have only tried this once so far, it left my skin feeling SUPER smooth. However, I didn't notice that it did anything else. I am going try this again and see how things go.
Treatments -Neostrata - Skin Renewal Peel Solution

This stuff is great, I absolutely love it but not the price. So I wait until Shoppers has a sale on their Neostrata line to get it. I use this maybe 2 times a week because my skin is a bit sensitive. I leave it on for 20 minutes then rinse is off with water before applying the Neostrata Toning Solutiong Level 1. This really helps even out my skin tone and clear any blemishes I have at the time. I am half way done my first bottle and will continue to purchase this.

I have used this colour 3 times now. It's a pretty colour, but it too orange for my complexion. I am going to try the Intense Red colour next time and see if that looks better on me.
Treatments (Eye) -Unlisted Brand - rare2b - eye gel

I found this product at Winners, never heard of it before, but thought I would give it a go because it was all natural. I tried it and saw immediate results!! I have dark circles under my eyes, and nothing seems to help. This instantly made my dark circles disappear and my eyes looked wider and brighter. However, because it was a gel... it did not moisturize enough during the Winter months and it kind of stung when I applied it. I would buy this again, but I can't find it anywhere....
Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Etival - ener-c night cream

I got this cream on sale at SDM for $5.00, so I thought that was a great deal. I tried this on my face, but found it was too heavy and it caused me to get a couple of blackheads on my cheeks. So now I only use this cream on my neck. It stings a little bit, so I think that's the vitamin c working. I haven't noticed a big difference. I haven't noticed a big difference when I used it on my face either. Maybe I didn't use it long enough, but I would not get this again.
I tried this mask once and liked it. I didn't notice a huge difference in my skin, but it looked slightly better after I used it, than before. My face felt really really clean after I used this. I will update with more uses.
Moisturizers -Alba Botanica - Sea Moss Moisturizer with SPF 15
ladyofshalott 9/9/2011 2:44:00 PM
I put this on my face/neck, and within a few minutes it gave me a rash all on my neck. I washed it off immediately. The texture of this product was a little greasy and did not asorb into my skin right away. I didn't leave it on long enough to see how it was through out the day, but I may try it again since I can't return it (I got it while on vacation).
I just bought this lotion and have been using it for the past couple of days. I recently tried the Clinique DDMG and it gave me a rash and made me break out like something vicious. I needed a new moisturizer that would not clog more pores and be suitable for my sensitive dry skin. This was recommended to me on the Skin Care Board, so I checked out the ingredients and the reviews and went over to Shoppers to pick some up. I haven't noticed a difference in my acne, but I do not think this is making it worse. I also like the texture of this lotion and it leaves my skin feeling soft through the entire day! No more dry skin or flakes! I will update this later to see how it is working out.....
