Eye Primer -Hard Candy - Eyeshadow Primer
ladykestryl 12/23/2012 11:02:00 PM
This eye primer is terrible. I have super oily lids, and this didn't work for me. I love UD and Elf eye primers, I will save my $$ and buy one of those two primers in the future.

Eye Shadow -L.A. Colors - Baked Eyeshadows
ladykestryl 12/2/2012 11:30:00 AM
I picked this up in Black Hole, with a Black, Gunmetal, Eggplant and White color. If you want a sheer, soft smokey look you an use these. When used wet, the intensity of the colors pop and stand out. I love using these wet for a smokey look. The gunmetal color reminds me of the Urban Decay color, but with less sparkle. I use an eye primer with all of my shadows, UDPP or Elf $1 primer. Primer required for my oily lids with all eye shadows and these last as long as my high end eye shadows. I have paired these with NYX jumbo pencil in Cottage Cheese, and the LA Colors Seashells jumbo pencils for more intense color.

Mascara -Urban Decay - Supercurl Curling Mascara
ladykestryl 8/17/2012 10:57:00 PM
I love this mascara. It curls without an eyelash curler and the mascara doesn't clump my eyelashes. Also this doesn't irritate my eyes. I can wear this mascara with my contact lenses and it doesn't flake in to them. I will wear it longer and make see it continues the great performance.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked Palette
ladykestryl 8/16/2012 8:45:00 PM
I loved the original palette, with the eye pencils the value and quality was insane. I gave it to my niece because she loved it. I purchased another one, and I think the second one, with the brush, quality is lacking. The shadows do not seem as pigmented. I am using the same brushes. I am not sure I will buy this again because there is so much shadow in this palette for many looks. After the initial one the second one is a disappointment.

Polishes -Zoya - Jem
ladykestryl 12/17/2011 11:24:00 PM
This is my first Zoya purchase, skeptical of the price tag, $8 US is a expensive. This stuff wears like Teflon and only came off when I took removed this nail polish. I am very hard on my nails because of my work, and there was the teeniest bit of wear on the tips by the end of the day banging my nails. I also chipped a nail, and the only bit of nail polish that wore off was where my nail broke. Did I mention that it only took one coat to make the color opaque? If this is normal for this line of nail polishes, I will purchase more of this line.

Polishes -Sinful - Crackle
ladykestryl 10/22/2011 7:28:00 PM
I have wanted to try a crackle effect nail polish but was skeptical about the effect. I saw this in my local Rite Aid, and placed it over my Red nail polish. This looks amazing! I can't wait to try it with other colors. This is much cheaper than other crackle type of nail polishes. If this lives up to other Sinful nail polish, this should last me a while.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Expert Eyes Eye Shadow - Sunbaked Neutrals
ladykestryl 3/24/2011 7:49:00 PM
I love these eyeshadows and have used them for years. With all the new products to play with, I have forgotten these gems. I love the newer formula of these. The colors are more pigmented, silky and less chalky. The packaging is horrid but I was able to get these for dirt cheap. I had a coupon and paid less than $5 (USD) for these babies! <3

Eye Primer -E.L.F. - Eyelid Primer
ladykestryl 2/14/2011 9:09:00 AM
Love this stuff. I have it in my make-up bag for work. This will crease after 12 hours in the office but I rarely put those kind of hours in the office. This is half the size of UDPP, but $1 US v.s. $18 US . . . I can buy 18 and have the same amount of product as nine UDPP. I will buy this again, especially to take in to the office. I will buy this again, but I like the mineral primer better. I knocked off one lippie because it doesn't last as long as the mineral primer.

Eye Primer -E.L.F. - Mineral Eyeshadow Primer
ladykestryl 2/14/2011 9:05:00 AM
I did a test between this and UDPP and this held its own against the UDPP. I didn't see any difference between the two by the end of nine hours of hard work at home and twelve hours at the office. One thing I don't like is the packaging, I can't seem to see how much is left. This has a doefoot applicator like UDPP, and is half the size. However for $3 US compared to UDPP $18 US two packages are less than half of one UDPP. I will buy this again as long as they don't change the formula.

Blush -Lancome - Blush Pommette
ladykestryl 2/14/2011 8:56:00 AM
I love this blush. I have used one container and opened my second container in Stain. This is the best blush for me to place on the apples of my cheek and give me the "healthy" look. I would purchase this again and I am bummed this has been discontinued ages ago because this was my HG blush.

Skincare - Face -Johnson & Johnson - Baby Shampoo

I love this product because dh loves this as shampoo. I use this for makeup remover, brush cleaner and clarifying shampoo. I have used this brand and store brands with the same wonderful result. I will buy this as long as they make it and not change the formula.

Skincare - Face -Unlisted Brand - Pampers Natural Aloe Touch Baby Wipes (Unscented)
ladykestryl 1/23/2011 9:52:00 AM
I love these and we don't have kids! I purchase these unscented baby wipes all the time. I have these in my bag because I am a klutz while eating out. I use these to travel, general cleaning of my desk, "washing" my hands when there is nothing in sight and to remove my makeup daily. These wipes are ideal for eating accidents and have taken out spaghetti sauce from a white top and not ruining it! I love these things and try to pick them up in at least a three pack. I always keep a pack of these at my desk, car and try to remember to pack these in my bag.

Skincare - Body -Johnson & Johnson - Baby Oil
ladykestryl 1/23/2011 9:45:00 AM
I have to agree with a poster below, why spend $$$ on eye makeup remover. This gets the most stubborn water proof mascara off the eyelashes. I love this stuff as an eye makeup remover and as an after shower moisturizer. I always come back to this even after I have used more expensive removers (as a GWP or a gift). I have an old Lancome Bifacial gwp bottle I refill in my cabinet. I like the smallish size (gwp) and the large lip on the container and the gwp bottle stays closed very well. I find baby oil to be soothing to my eye and moisturizes the eye area really well. I have purchased the store brand in baby oil and had the same wonderful result. This product can be used for so much more than eye makeup remover. I use it in the winter for when my skin gets dry as an after shower moisturizer.

Eyeliner -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Eyes Creme Eyeliner - Eggplant
ladykestryl 1/23/2011 12:20:00 AM
I am a PPP with brown eyes, and this eyeliner makes my brown eyes pop. I love how this is not as harsh as black eyeliner. I find this to be on par with UD Rockstar, which I use during the week for the office because pencils are easier to transport. The staying power is also pretty on par with the UD liner. I love the creamy texture of this lining. I was able to get this as BOGO 1/2 off sale at Rite Aid. The price is dirt cheap, and I went back to Rite Aid and bought another one as a back-up, so I would have it on hand when needed. In my area this line seems to sell out quickly but I would buy this again as long as the formula stays the same.

Top/Base Coats -Unlisted Brand - INM - Out the Door Top Coat
ladykestryl 1/9/2011 10:11:00 AM
I love this stuff. I like how this doesn't get thick over time like other top coats like Poshe or Seche Vite. This is a quick drying topcoat and I really love it. I hope they don't change the formula, but if they do, I will be on the hunt for something else. Since WnW changed their formula, not for the better, I have been on the search for another topcoat with the same or better performance. This one does better. I hesitate to call this my HG yet, but time will tell.
