Powder -Clinique - Almost Powder Makeup SPF 15

Amazing product! I love the coverage this powder gives me. I have worn liquid foundation since I was about 14 years old and have become rather dependent on the look that the liquid managed to give me. I have pseduo scars from old pimples so my skin always seems to look broken out even though it is in fact clear (thanks to the Clinique Acne Solutions Three step system). Since I have discovered this powder I only use a little bit of the Clinique quick corrector concealer and brush some of the almost makeup powder over it and VOILA! perfect skin! It is neccessary you use a large powder brush to apply this makeup otherwise it does give a rather cakey looking finish. Great coverage but still feels light on the face, I will definitely stick with this one.

Toners -Mario Badescu - Special Cucumber Lotion

After receiving my personalized smaples from Mario Badescu I was excited to buy a few of the products, the Special Cucumber lotion was one of them. I have a long history of cystic breakouts and at first the cucumber lotion seemed to help soothe and heal the pimples. I used the product for about 6 months and it seemed to be becoming less and less effective on my skin. It has a lovely smell and it worked great at first but I wouldn't buy it again, plus it was crazy expensive!

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - powder eyeshadow

I bought two eyeshadows one in a light beige and the other in black. I applied a little bit of each on to my eye when I arrived home to see what it looked like. I washed it off a few a minutes later. I woke up the next day with a huge rash on my eyelids and underneath of my eye. The rash lasted for about 4 days. Not worth the risk!

Skincare - Face -Clinique - Acne Solutions Line (all products)

LOVE this line. I had perfect skin as a teenager but in my adult years I have experiences extremely bad hormonal cystic acne. I have tried everything and this is the only line that has cleared me up completely. It does take some time for the product to show results so please be patient. I bought the line in the midst of one of the worst breakouts I had ever had and within about a month I was completely clear (minus a few of those pesky scars left behind from the big pimples). Its been three months and the line is still working wonderfully. I have combination/oily skin and I do find that the moisturizer dries me out a bit too much as it does contain Benzoyl peroxide. I use the clinique "dramatically different moisturizing gel" instead and it seems to work better for me. Great Line, Highly recommended!

Liquid -Cover Girl - TruBlend

I have been using Cover Girl for about 8 years. I have tried all of their foundations and the only one that did not break me out is the TruBlend liquid foundation. It is so light on the face but it offers extremely good coverage. I have red pseudo scars left from a bad breakout around exam time last year and this foundation covers them no problem without making me feel like I have a mask on.

Cleansers -Clinique - Acne Solutions Cleansing Foam

I have both the clinique acne solutions cleanser and the toner. They are both fabulous! I have been using them for about 3 months now and my usual 5-6 cystic pimples a week has turned into one or two tiny little whiteheads a week. Be patient with the line because it does not show results right away. I have tried everything you can get at the drug store and even ordered from expensive spas and this is the best line for me. If you're like me and experience cystic pimples but still have combination skin I wouldn't recommend using the acne solutions moisturizer because it will dry you out too much as it has benzoyl peroxide in it. I use the clinique "dramatically different moisturizing gel" and it works beautifully. Great Product!
