Peridot started out kind of nice with the lime, but the dry down smelled too hippy-esque on me. It smelled of old incense and head shops. Not for me.

Fragrances -Creative Scentualization - Perfect Hope

Perfect Hope is my new favorite fragrance. It has the complexity and warmth of the other Perfect Perfumes, but the pear and citrus notes add freshness and make it more light-hearted. This is as close as I've come to finding my personal scent.

Lip Treatments -Badger - Cinnamon Bay lip & body balm

I find Badger Balms to be the most physically and psychologically soothing. They are comfortable and lightly flavored/scented. There is no strong odor or flavor. I find myself turning to the badger when I feel the need for comfort.

Masks -Astara - Activated Sea Mineral mask

I was surprised at how soft my skin felt after using this mask. I have sensitive skin and the scrub-like texture and mentholatum scent didn't bother my skin at all. I kind of enjoyed the experience. I got a sample from WTF. I might buy it. The only drawback is the price.

Concealers -L'Oreal - visible lift line minimizing concealer

I got it in yellow. I like it better than Benefit Lemon-aid because this lotion formula blends better and looks fresher on me than the pressed powder lemon-aid. It really makes my eyes look brighter. Hides redness and dark circles. I agree with the other reviewers that it doesn't have much effect on lines. I like it a lot, though.

The best moist towel product I have ever used. It felt nice, and my skin wasn't left with a sticky residue like I get from other towelettes. My skin felt soft, not dry & tight & irritated-- (again, like the experiences I've had with other brands). My skin is sensitive and these are terrific!

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara

Okay, have to add my kudos for this stuff. I've tried all kinds of mascaras, dept store and drug store, looking for the one that doesn't clump and doesn't bleed onto my face, and one that doesn't feel brittle or flake & chip all over my face. This is the best I've found. I have it in regular, water-proof, and curling. It is my staple mascara.

Highlighters -BeneFit Cosmetics - High Beam

Love it! This is hands down, the best highlighter I've tried. It is a silvery-pink (as opposed to the light-golden Moon Beam). The liquid form goes on and blends wonderfully for me. Other cream and stick highlighters I've tried were too gunky and clogged my pores.

Benetint is really the perfect color for me. I just wish it came in gel form (ala Vincent Longo or Philosophy Supernatural lip & cheek stains). I like the rose scent much better than VL (vanilla) and a little better than Supernatural (pomegranate).

Got this on a close-out special. I'd been eyeing it since it came out. I really like it. I'd never used a pan eyeliner before. (I'd only used pencils/pens or liquid.) I liked the effect and the longevity. Plus I'm a real sucker for the packaging on this cute palette.

Fragrances -Demeter - New Zealand

NZ is my very favorite Demeter PMU. It is like a combination of my 2 previous faves, Snow & Thunderstorm. Plus it has some grassiness. It is definitely more complex than their other PMUs.

Lipstick -Urban Decay - Ink Lip Stain

Got it in bitten and illegal. Bitten too brick-red for my complexion. Illegal matches my lips exactly, so it evens out the color and I have MLBB! Only gave it a 4 cuz it doesn't last long enough. Edit: Got it in Spanked; the purplish looks much better on me than the Bitten. And it lasts longer than the Illegal.

Demeter PMU's tap into the scent/memory connection. Uh, I got a hangover smelling this. It definitely brought back a memory. But it wasn't pleasant. :~{

When I first got the sample I tried a drop on my hand. 1st impression - too "rubbery" whatever that means (maybe it's the playdough referenced below). Later I sniffed again and thought I really liked it. Wore it all day the next day and it was just too warm, vanilla, & musky for me. Update: I still don't like wearing it alone, but I like it as a layer with lighter scents.
