I had never used a foundation brush before. I didn't know that a good foundation brush can make so much difference! This brush applies the foundation evenly and beautifully. I actually end up using less product and get smoother application. I would recommend this to everyone who uses liquid foundation.

It is great barely there lipcolor for me. It a light shade of muted pink with beige. I was not used to such a light color but after a while, I really liked it. It is a good daytime/summery color for fair/medium skin.

What a boring color! It is too dark and dull for my face. It has grayish tones that suddenly made me look dull. It is more grayish brown than rose. I did not like it.

Absolutely Beautiful! This color can flatter many skintones. It is a warm/neutral rosy brownish red color. But definitely much muted shade of red. me: medium skin with yellow undertones. It immediately brightened my face. Great color for fall, winter or evening.

Lipstick -Revlon - Rose Velvet

This is a versatile, very flattering to many skintones lipstick. My absolute favorite. It is a muted rose with a beautiful blend of pink and brown. It is highly pigmented. Not too moisturizing though. Me: medium skin with yellow undertones.

I finally found my perfect nude lipstick! All revlon colors are hard to describe. It is a warm nude, not too dark, not too light. I have medium warm skintone with yellow undertone and it looks perfect on me. It does not wash me out. But if you are cool-toned, it may look somewhat orangy on you, I think. But for warm complected women, it will look great.

I was first skeptical about this product because of the menthol in it. Thanks for the reviews. I gave it a try and am happy using it once a week. Despite the gimmicky tingling sensation from menthol, I did not experience any breakout on my sensitive skin. For this first time, I found a scrub with the perfect amount of grittiness, not too much and not too less. I keep it on for a min. in shower and rinse it off. It makes my skin smoother.

Cleansers -Olay - Daily Facials

I bought these in sensitive skin version. Non-irritating, nicely removed all makeup (even colorstay makeup). Non-oily, non-drying, convenient. Great when you are in a hurry. Will not completely remove pencil eyeliner. Not a replacement for my regular cleanser though.

Loose Powders -Almay - Nearly Naked

It is a basic loose powder to set liquid makeup. I gives a smooth, silky finish without being cakey. It will not provide much coverage and will not be super-matt. If you are looking for a sheer, non-irritating, finely milled powder, this is perfect. me: sensitive, combination skin, medium skintone with yellow undertones. I bought this in light/medium and the color is perfect. It didn't oxidize and was non-irritating. I threw away the sponge applicator and used my powder brush.

I have fine, wavy, unprocessed hair. I was hoping this would tame flyways and provide some body to my hair. It did nothing. My hair looked better without this. I returned it.

Toners -Alba Botanica - Hawaiian Hibiscus Facial Toner

It is too expensive for a toner. I just decided that I needed a toner and bought this after reading the reviews. I really wanted to like this. I loved the smell and the ingredient list. But it actually broke me out. And I am sure this was the reason of my break out because I hadn't changed anything else in my routine. I returned it.

Conditioner -John Frieda - Frizz-Ease Straight Ahead Conditioner [DISCONTINUED]

I love this conditioner. I have wavy, frizzy hair and this one helps to tame the frizz. It makes my hair shiny and bouncy.

My skin: sensitive, combination, break-out prone. My Hg cleanser was discontinued (Clean&Clear Makeup removing cleanser). Thanks to all the reviews. This is near perfect. Even better than my previous HG cleanser. It thoroughly cleans yet dos not overdry. It is sulfate-free. Did not irritate my skin. Great.

Cleansers -Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser

I wanted to like this cleanser. But my skin did not like it. My HG cleanser (Makeup Removing Cleanser from Clean&Clear) was discontinued. So I was looking for a sulfate-free gentle cleanser and picked up this one. I don't know why it is called "ultra-calming" and "non-irritating". It made my sensitive, combination skin worse. It dried out the dry patches and broke me out in oily zones. I will use it to clean my makeup brushes.

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara

This is a very good mascara. It delivers what it promises. Before application, I just remove the excess mascara on the brush by wiping with tissue. The I hold the brush on the base of lash and move it up with wiggling to separate the lashes. I once saw a makeup artist doing this. This works great and I have full and soft lashes. They still look natural and beautiful.
