I have dry clear skin so I go for cleansers that are 1) non-drying, and 2) will be able to remove my makeup. I was happily using Cetaphil, but decided to give this Mario Badescu Keratoplast Soap a try as it's the only product I've come across which claims to reduce broken capillaries. I so enjoy applying this product, it has a beautiful scent and texture like all MB products. It kind of has the texture of whipped cream: very fluffy and lightweight. It also removes makeup well. However, the best part about this product is that my skin feels MORE moisturized after I use it than it did before, which is heavenly for someone like me with dry skin. The packaging is hygienic and easy-to-use, and a little goes a long way. I've been using this for several months now and still have about three quarters of the bottle left. On the other hand, I did not see an improvement in my broken capillaries, though I also did not develop any new ones. This may be because mine are already purple and will need to be lazered off. I was not too disappointed as I didn't expect this to be a miracle cream! It just feels good to use something that may be slightly strengthening my skin. I will definitely repurchase.
I am so extremely disappointed by this $150 product. It was not at all moisturizing and my skin was dry again half an hour after application. I did not notice any anti-aging effects, and it broke me out, which is rare for me. Stay away.
Moisturizers -Clinique - Super Rescue Antioxidant Night Moisturizer

If I could give this a 0/5, I would. I bought it because I was looking for an oil-free night moisturizer that would prevent signs of aging. I purchased the dry combination version. When I applied it, it felt cold like menthol, and then really warmed up and burnt and tingled slightly around the dry areas of my face. I found this strange, because it's meant to be dermatologically tested, fragrance free, paraben free, etc etc. I have slightly sensitive skin, but I can usually apply whatever I want to my face without reacting. As such, I decided to leave the product on and see what happened. The very next morning I developed 4-5 sizeable lumps around the areas that had burnt. These turned into pimples later in the day. I hardly ever break out, so that is an exceptionally adverse reaction for me. These took several days to clear up. I know that the overall rating for this product is quite positive, but since my experience I have read through the individual reviews and I've noticed quite a significant amount of people have also experienced similar reactions. If you have even slight sensitivity, please please please STAY AWAY. And if you've bought this product and you experience the same sensation of coldness/warmness/tingling, discontinue use and cleanse immediately!
Bronzers -Scott Barnes - Body Bling all over body bronzer

This product is amazing, I apply it over my fake tan when I'm looking a little too matte and orange and I instantly look hydrated and golden. You can also use it as a tan lengthener to mask mistakes or areas where it's started to wear off. It is very messy and smells a little weird, but so is fake tan, and this gives a much more natural color. You only need to use the tiniest amount so one bottle lasts forever. Most of it comes off in the shower, but a little shimmer does remain. I do think it look a little too shiny in photographs though! And I much prefer the old packaging. I could also see this being really really really really clogging on acne-prone skin.
A pinker, more opaque alternative to Sarah Smile. Love it! I use it for french mani's or just by itself if I've got shorter nails at the time. I apply two layers.
Gorgeous basic shade for a french mani. I also use it in isolation when my nails are shorter. You do have to apply several layers because it's very sheer, which can be annoying because Lippmann polishes already chip easily, and layering just exaggerates the problem.
Another HG nail polish from Deborah Lippmann. So many red polishes are bright and tawdry, and unflattering to fair skin. This is such a deep cherry red, with the tiniest hint of glitter to keep it young and modern. Looks great as a pedi too. I find with the Lippmann glitter polishes that you HAVE to pair them with a high-shine top coat or they look a little worn out.
Deb Lippmann makes the most gorgeous, original shades and this is no exception. My HG nail polish, I ALWAYS get complimented on it. OPI make a very harsh, bright gold polish, but this is so soft, pale and complimentary to the skin. Definitely appropriate for day time, as it's not glittery or brassy at all. I use it to glam up a simple outfit.
Eye Shadow -Stila - Shadow Pots Eye Mousse in Lily

Gorgeous lavender color, appears much darker in reality than it does in the picture above. Like all Stila shadow pots, it is a breeze to blend, and you can achieve both a subtle or a more obvious shade. I'm not a fan of the packaging, it looks cheap and wears easily.
Love this! HG! It's so gentle and pH balanced. I have dry and quite sensitive skin and this is perfect as a cleanser and body wash. It doesn't leave your skin stripped of its natural oils and feeling tight like so many other cleansers. Oilier skin types might need something a little more hardcore though. I usually have to apply, wipe and rinse several times to get all my makeup off, but I'd rather the little extra effort than put something harsh or drying on my face. So cheap too!
The only red lipstick I've found that suits absolutely all skin tones! A classic for sure.
I think this is a good alternative to Lychee Luxe for fair skin tones. I don't like the stickiness and glitteriness of MAC lustreglass, but if you like the look of thick, high-shine gloss, this is a winner.
Bought this because of all the hype from Instyle. However, I find it to be too orange for fair skin tones. It's also insanely shiny and glittery (like all MAC glosses), which can look a bit tacky and juvenile.
Very shiny, sticky and clumpy. I'd say the texture is a cross between a gloss and a lip gloss, so you do get quite a bit of color. If you can get past the icky consistency, I think the cute pinky mauve shade itself suits medium skin tones.
Love it, creates the sexiest smokey eye. I only use it when I'm going out because the glitter particles are very obvious and sometimes fall under the eye, making it inappropriate for day wear/casual events. Extremely blendable like all Nars shadows.
