Concealers -Hard Candy - Glamoflauge Concealer
rated 5 of 5

Oh my, I LOVE this concealer!! It is a great replacement to my previous HG concealer, Jane's "No Show" concealer which has been discontinued... Back to Hard Candy's Glamoflauge: this stuff covers GREAT! It even comes with instructions to conceal tattoos, if you were interested. I have never used the little concealer pencil that this comes with, but the cream works wonders (and the size of the tube is a real deal for $7 at Walmart!!!)! I have a lentigo the size of a pencil eraser on my cheekbone, so I've always worked hard to keep it concealed. This stuff does the trick, where as most concealers just can't seem to cover on my face. I use this over primer and foundation, and under transluscent powder. Hope it never gets discontinued! *I did originally buy the "ultra light" shade, which was waaay too light--and then purchased "light" which is perfect for my skin tone.*

I really like this perfume. It's light and pretty, and has descent lasting power. It does smell borderline unisex, like a lot of reviews I've read, but I like unisex scents.

Fragrances -Paris Hilton - Heiress by Paris Hilton
rated 5 of 5

Of all of Paris Hilton's perfumes, this is definitely my favorite! I tried this on in a fragrance outlet and it lasted all day...which surprised me! I went back the next day and bought a bottle. This fragrance smells very fun and feminine...not sure what exactly to describe it as...Not necessarily a very sophisticated scent, but very pretty and girly.

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - J Del Pozo-In Black

I really like this scent. I usually like "black" fragrances and colognes (for my husband) so I thought I woul give this a try. It smells a little odd at first, but after it dries down it has a nice incence-y smell that I really like. This fragrance is definitely not for everyone, but I like it! I only gave 4 lippies becuase the lasting pwer isn't the greatest.

This perfume is okay. I bought a sample size of the perfume because I liked it but didn't know if I liked it enough to splurge on a big bottle. This fragrance is flowery and pretty, and a light scent. It sort of reminds me of my Eclat D'Arpege...maybe also because they are both purple. But I like Eclat D'Arpege more. This is pretty and light, but not one I would probably repurchase.

Lip Gloss -Bonne Bell - Smackers Lip Sparkler - Mocha Jolt
rated 4 of 5
kristamb 6/13/2012 7:43:00 AM

I really like this product, and it's becoming hard to find (discontinued, maybe?). I have liked LipSmackers since I was in high school, and I still love these glosses! The flavor is great, and the sparkle is just enough to wear any time. The only reason I gave 4 lippies instead of 5 is the lasting power. This gloss doesn't seem to last long and re-application is necessary often. Otherwise, this is a great product!

Styling Products -TRESemme - TRESemmé's Fresh Start Refreshing Mist
rated 4 of 5
kristamb 3/14/2012 6:56:00 PM

I really love the concept of hair fragrances, and this one is really good. I only gave 4 lippies because of the lasting power (I would say, 5 sprays on my hair last for about 3 hours). Overall, it has a really fresh, shampoo scent and it doesn't weigh your hair down or make it look wet or anything. I love that Tresemme makes this product, as hair refreshers are hard to find! I would highly recommend.

Styling Products -Unlisted Brand - Not Your Mother's- Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray
rated 4 of 5

Okay, I just bought this yesterday at Walmart so today is my first day using the product. I actually bought this because I wanted a hair refresher / perfume, which most drugstore companies just don't make anymore (although I hear the Tresemme currently has one...didn't see it at Walmart though...). Anyhow, I bought this because it SMELLED so good!! Just like suntan lotion...So.....I sprayed my damp hair this morning about 10 times with this, and blow-dried most of my hair (my hair is very long and straight). It did make my hair look pretty, a little wavy, and slightly shinier compared to the usual air-dried look of the ends of my hair...But I only gave the product 4 lippies because it's been 3 hours since I did my hair, and I can't smell the WONDERFUL scent anymore!! :( But, other than that downfall, I have no other compaints. This product is kind of like a spray gel, but much, MUCH lighter. My hair doesn't feel stiff at all, which is GOOD!! I think since I like the effect of this product but am missing the scent, I am going to try and purchase some leave in conditioner for the ends of my hair--maybe in a coconut scent...mmmmm! I would definitely suggest this product if you want a wavy look for air-dried hair.

Fragrances -Bliss Labs - Bliss Eau de Toilette
rated 5 of 5
kristamb 3/13/2012 7:34:00 AM

Okay, I just picked this up a little 10 mL roller bottle at Marshall's for $5.99 yesterday....and I think I really like it! (A lot of times with perfume, I *think* I really like it, then after I smell it for a few days, I realize the scent gives me headaches or makes me nauseous...). Bliss definitely smells refreshing and like cucumbers at one point. Then it turns into a little something different, but it's hard to describe...I'll come up with it after I smell it a few more times. One reviewer says this perfume reminds them of Leap! from the Body Shop....I always wanted to try Leap! because of everyone's rave reviews but it's been discontinued. If this smells like Leap! did then I think I wouldl like that one too! I only gave 4 lippies for price because even though I found a good deal on this, paying retail for this perfume seems overly expensive given the lasting power. I would say this perfume needs re-applied after about 3 hours. Otherwise, I love this new perfume! So happy I got a great deal, too!!

Styling Products -L'Oreal - Studio Senses - the Cool Scent
rated 5 of 5
kristamb 3/12/2012 10:08:00 AM

Okay, I'm reviewing the yellow bottle (I think--"warm" scent) ...I'm not gonna bother adding it though...because I think it was discontinued, like, 10 years ago :-( I used to looooove this scent back in high school!! Why did L'Oreal discontinue such an awesome product??!! It was cheap and actually did what it said--made your hair smell good! I read that people just spritz their hair with cologne, but this isn't the same--if you've ever used this stuff you know that. I think I'm gonna write the company and ask them to bring this back!!!! A few other companies make similar products, but they are sooooo expensive!

Scrubs -Queen Helene - Mint Julep Natural Facial Scrub
rated 5 of 5
kristamb 11/12/2011 10:21:00 AM

I saw this scrub at Sally Beauty Supply and thought I would try it out..Usually I use St. Ives Apricot scrub. This is way better! The granules that exfoliate your face are a very fine texture and not as rough as the St. Ives scrub. This scrub only cost maybe $1 more than St. Ives, and the only thing I wish was different was the lid. You have to unscrew the lid to use the product, where a flip-top to squeeze out the scrub would be much nicer. I will definitely re-purchase this one!

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Kate Walsh - Boyfriend

This fragrance is okay...for me, I wouldn't buy this because the price is too high. I have a sample bottle, and that is probably all I will need! It is an interesting unisex sort of scent, and for me, one spritz lasts ALL DAY! It's definitely woodsy and spicy like a men's cologne may be. I find it to be similar to Avon's True Glow perfume, which has a sort of unisex scent about it. For me, just "OK" on this one...

Fragrances -Coty - Harajuku Lovers - Baby
rated 5 of 5
kristamb 9/30/2011 6:54:00 PM

The is my SECOND FAVORITE of the Harajuku Lovers scents. It smells very pretty and powdery, and on me, this is the longest lasting of the HL scents. I feel like I only need to re-apply once every 4 hours or so to smell Baby on my skin. YUMMY!

This is my FAVORITE of the Harajuku Lovers scents!!! It just smells PRETTY! My only complaint would be the lasting power...I feel like every hour I have to re-apply or the scent is gone. It is a great scent, though!

This scent smells good, but it doesn't last on me...It definitely reminds me of grapes when I smell it...but then, in 5 minutes, it's gone! Not really a favorite of mine, especially due to its lack of a lasting scent...
