I had such high hopes for this soap after reading so many great reviews. After my back acne cleared up with Dr Bronner's, I thought I was rid of it for good. After I used the African black soap, it's back again. I don't like how my skin feels squeaky with this soap. Clean is good, but not so squeaky clean that all moisture is gone from my skin. I also tried it on my hair.. WORST DECISION EVER. The next few days I swear my hair was covered in dandruff, what the hell. Never doing that again. The only thing that's stopping me from giving it 1 star is that it's an alright clarifying soap for my face (I took a huge risk putting it on my face) I use it maybe 2 times a week and it's not too bad, but I have to slather on aloe vera butter on my face to stop it from feeling so dry. The soap itself it kind of hard to store, I leave it in the shower in a draining soap container but the bottom part kind of melts and sticks to the container. Also when it dries this white mold like stuff coats the outside. I'm not sure if it's mold, but I'm not taking chances!

Gels/Soaps -Dr. Bronner's - Hemp and Tea Tree Soap

I've tried many soaps to get rid of my back acne, but nothing's worked as well as this soap! It took a few weeks, and along with exfoliating a couple of times a week, it's completely cleared up. After the first bar ran out I tried African Black soap but my back acne was back again. So it's definitely back to Dr. Bronners :) Only thing is the $8 AUD pricetag from my local health food store; it's pretty pricey for a bar of soap but it lasts forever and it's super effective.

Eyeliner -Maybelline - Line Stiletto liquid eyeliner

Definitely my favorite eyeliner! It's so so black and stays on all day, no joke. I was pleasantly surprised when I looked in the mirror at the end of the day :) Downside is that I have to dip the tip in a couple of times to do one eye, and I wouldn't recommend it for people who don't have a steady hand; the brush is more like a flexible, long, fine tipped pen so it can be difficult to maneuver.

Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Kosmea-Moisturizing Lotion SPF30

This product is great because it doesn't feel like it has sunscreen. Usually they feel gross and icky but this one absorbs really nicely. Plus it's spf 30+ and most moisturisers seem to be 15+; not enough for the strong rays from the Australian sun! Though, it's really expensive for a 50ml bottle, I paid around 40AUD, double of what I expected to pay and normally spend on a moisturiser. I also found it not really moisturising during the winter months; I put a drop of rosehip oil on the dry parts on my face before I apply but it's great in summer. It lasts quite a bit considering I only use it in the mornings but it'd be nice if it was a little cheaper.
