Yep am in love with this highlighter! What can I say! It is totally effortless to blend, isn't sticky and comes in a pretty sleek round case with a mirror! I love the colour, it has just a touch of gold and is perfect for a lovely, yummy dewy look. I apply it to the top of my cheek bones and half of the top centre of the bridge of my nose. I pretty much use this every day! It also turns up quite nice and natural in flash photography as well. Love Love Love!
Lipstick -Lancome - Rouge in Love- 340B Rose Boudoir

Mmmm such a dreamy, spring in your step, girly colour! I didn't have anything like this in my collection and I fell in love with it in a heart beat! It's perfect for a daytime, spring look or if you want to give your usual makeup routine a bit of wow! It does feel a little drying after several hours but does have a long lasting factor. I wore it for 12 hours and only touched up once. Whenever I wear a long lasting lipstick I always exfoliate my lips and slather on Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream or Lanolin and let it soak into my lips before I apply my lipstick. I don't use a lip liner when I wear this lipstick and the colour didn't seem to bleed.
I recently bought this off strawberry net for a bargain which is why I listed it as a 2 for price. This is the first concealer that I genuinely like! The salmony colour is perfect for concealing under the eye and the fair to light tone is an exact match for my colouring. It looks heavy duty but feels quite light. I apply it with a Real Techniques eye brush which helps buff and blend the concealer seamlessly with my foundation. I have used it a few times to cover up blemishes but much prefer it for under the eye. The skin tone colour which feels to be a dense powder is handy for powdering over light blemishes. It is a very cute, handy package but the pans are starting to fall out of the package which is why I have given it a 3 - but really it's not the biggest injustice in the world. There is a mirror which is essential if you are on the go and you need to do any touch ups.
I really adore this super versatile eye shadow pallet by the make up artist Louise Young. Everyone should have a sensible collection of matte shades and with this pallet you need not look any further. This collection of very usable shades comes in very sleek packaging which is great for traveling or putting in your handbag. The eyeshadow colours are great for creating very natural looks or more dramatic looks. I also use the pigments as a liner and for filling in my eyebrows and on the odd occasion - contouring. The norm seems to be with brushes that are provided with any pallet, are usually pretty crap and often thrown away but the Louise Young brush provided is surprisingly of high quality and very lovely to use! I love the matte eyeshadows. It's so nice to steer away from all the usual shimmery selections!
Eye Shadow -Laura Mercier - Metallic Eye Creme - Burnish Copper

This is a rich pigmented creamy eye shadow. I love the tube that it comes in setting it apart from the other clunky packaged cream eye shadows in my collection. I absolutely adore this colour and it is perfect for a not too dramatic but extremely noticeable look. The texture is amazing and glides on very smoothly. I have a few of these metallic colours by Laura Mercier but this is definitely my favourite of the lot!
Bronzers -Chanel - Soleil Tan de Chanel - Bronzing Makeup Base

I am in love with this product! This bronzer is so creamy and rich and blends perfectly. You can really build this bronzer up or use the tiniest amount for simple contouring. I use a contouring brush when I apply this product and I really buff it in and when I am done I use my foundation brush (with left over foundation on it) to help blend the look together. I love the texture. I love the smell. I take this bronzer with me wherever I go!
Obey is such a unique, amazing colour. It is a peachy pastel lip colour with a white pigment base. When you put this colour on your lips it has such a technicolour look! The only downfall is that this lipstick is very drying. It's retro slather of colour sadly has that retro feel on your lips after an hour, it feels quite chalky. Before I put it on I buff and exfoliate my lips and set them with a heavy balm. I would recommend using a lip brush and buffing the lipstick, really working it in. If I need to apply I do blot off as much as the remaining colour as I can and then rework the lipstick on. The whoel process can eb annoying and a little time consuming but for such a one of a kind colour it is worth it!
This is such an amazing cream blush! It is a vibrant reddish orange with a dewy finish. I bought this from a website thinking it would be a blood red but when I used the blush it came out reddy orange. With the finished result I decided I was not disappointed. A little does go a long way and I found that really working it in with a buffing or a stippling brush provided the best result. The blush is very dewy leaving a very healthy glow to the cheek. I paired this blush with a fairly neutral eye and a soft lip, it's a perfect spring look!
Lips -Collection 2000 - Cream Puff - Moisturising Lip Cream
kocoannie 11/28/2011 7:41:00 PM
This is such an amazing lip cream!! It goes on creamy but dries almost to a powdery matte effect and it is very velvety. It looks absolutley amazing once applied. It does make your lips feel a little dry once the product has finished setting - so I suggest applying a nice slather of balm and letting it settle into your lips first and then apply the product.
I'm very happy with this purchase and it has become my favourite black eyeliner. It's such a smooth, creamy consistency that goes on perfectly! Even without a primer this eyeliner is long lasting and if smudged straight after application can help create a nice, modern smokey eye. I have only had this product for a few weeks and so far the product hasn't dried out like the MAC Fluidline. If it does dry out quickly I will edit this review. This is a main point of contention for me when purchasing a cream or gel eyeliner.
Blush -MAC - CCB Cream Color Base - Movie Star Red
kocoannie 11/16/2011 5:29:00 AM
WOWZER!!! I have porcelain skin and amazingly this is the perfect blush! I only used a small streak on each cheekbone and with a buffing brush I extended the colour out to to the apple of my cheeks and blended in. Then I used a highlighter to help bring the colour out further. Such a beautiful pigment and added the right amount of glow to my cheeks! The application also lasted all day.
Makeup Brushes -MAC - 266 Thin Small Angle (Synthetic hair)
kocoannie 11/12/2011 11:44:00 PM
This is the first ever proper make up brush that I splurged on I think 5-6 years ago and I still love it!! It did take me a little while to learn to appreaciate it but once I learnt how to use it properly, now I can't live without it! This brush always gives precise application of gel eyeliner and I can use it to draw a fine or a thicker line. It's also perfect for filling in eyebrows and creating a detailed look along the top and bottom lash line. I've had the same brush for years and with a bit of care it has given the brush longevity. It's my most favoured and used brush amongst my collection. It's a wonder I haven't multiple... maybe I should
Really dig this mascara! It creates a lot of volume, thickens and lengthens my lashes to the max! It's also a really nice mascara that you can build and build. I often get compliements on my lashes or people will ask me what mascar I am using when I wear this mascara! The only slight downfall I find is that if you wear it for more than 10 hours it does start to flake. Other than that can't fault it.
Powder -Bare Escentuals - Get Started Face Kit in Fairly Light/Light
kocoannie 11/12/2011 10:56:00 PM
I don't think I will be buying this again. I found the entire kit considerably mediocre. The brushes are just complete rubbish and hardly hold the powder at all and don't look as though they trasnfer and powder to your face at all. The lids in which you are ment to swivel the brush in are way too small. I did however find that with different brushes that the product actually doesn't work. I wouldn't use this mineral foundation for an evening out or if I needed more coverage. It's really only good if you want to do the 'no make-up make-up' look or if you only want little coverage.
Mmmm my perfect blush colour!!! Long lasting and smells absolutely yummy! I love this blush - all though don'y apply with a heavy hand! Perfect for the apples of the cheek to create a nice, healthy look! The box is kind of cute but I find it a little bulky so this blush often doesn't make it into my travel make up bag. I don't use the brush provided, I find it a little unhelpful. A little expensive but it is so nicley pigmented and wears quite nicely! I'm sure it will last a very long time though!
