Lipstick -NYX - round lipstick- saturn

I love the color, but hate the finish (metallic?). I wish I could find this color in a good lipstick...

Misc Beauty Tools -Gillette - Venus Bikini Trimmer razor
knightrider 1/19/2012 12:58:00 PM
This leaves the hair 2-3 mm short. Which is to short for the hair down there (because it will stick), and to long for the bikini line, which I prefer hairless. Is this a pre waxing product?

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked Palette
knightrider 10/4/2011 2:05:00 PM
I got mine on sale! I hesitated a long time before I finally desided to buy it. Thinking it was just a "hype". But there are so many wearable colors here! I like all of them except the grey ones! Money well spent! I also had to buy the Naked-shadow in full-size to have with my neutral MAC-shadows :) I would not buy it again, simply because I probably never will use it up. I hear rumours about Naked vol. 2? I don't know what it will look like, but I already want it! :D

Palettes -Stars Makeup Haven - Empty 28 Pan Magnetized Palette (without pans)
knightrider 10/4/2011 1:58:00 PM
Unlike some other users here, my lid did close as it should. But the palette seem a little unsturdy. I would not travel with this! The magnets are good, and holds my pans very well. It is not great for eye shadows with magnets under. For them you should get a MAC-pro palette, an UNII-palette or another palette with a metal plate (not magnet sheet). I would not buy this again, because It is a bit big and unsturdy for me. I like better the 12 well magnetic palettes that they sell (and Coastal Scents too, only with a mirror). They do not take so much space + they are sturdier and more suitable for travel.

Treatments (Eye) -Unlisted Brand - Mary Cohr - Revitalising Eye Gel
knightrider 11/6/2010 7:15:00 AM
I've read some reviews on this Eye Gel. You can put it on your puffy eyes, and in 5 minutes the puffiness will be gone (It is supposed to work for under-eye-circles too, probably after a while of use). Well not on my eyes. And on my morning face I'm the perfect test object. I really wanted it to work. I've tried under one eye. And checked after a while. I could not see any difference... It may work for some people, but for me it was £20 for nothing. I guess I'll have to wait for the puffiness to go away by itself, and disguize the circles with concealer :/

Concealers -Clinique - All About Eyes Concealer
knightrider 9/20/2010 4:45:00 AM
Finally a concealer that works! I have tried "them all". Mineral concealers, the "famous" YSL-pen, something similar from Dior, and some drugstore coverstick. They all either cover too much (looks unnatural) or cover absolutelly nothing. But Cliniques concealer actually covers my under eye circles just enough! And it looks natural even without a foundation over! Luckily I found my perfect match; 04 Medium Petal. At least until my summertan goes away :) I apply it with Sigmas concealer brush and blend the edges well. You cannot see that I'm wearing concealer. Not even in bright daylight! I love it! I also love that it does not contain parabens!

Makeup Brushes -Sigma - E45 Small Tapered Blending (was SS226)
knightrider 7/5/2010 6:52:00 PM
This is great for applying and blending shadow in the crease if you (like me) think that MAC #217 is to big, and Sigma SS219 is sometimes too small. I really love it!

Cleansers -L'Occitane - Fresh Face Water
knightrider 7/5/2010 6:42:00 PM
This is actually a make-up remover AND a toner. It's easy to use, and you don't need anything to remove the cleanser with afterwards. It's pretty similar to Deceors cleansing water, except it's a spray which is more convenient, and it does not hurt my eyes! Why I do not give it a 5: If I have much makeup on, I must cleanse twice (sometimes three times), but I will survive. It also contains methylparaben (but it's one of the "safest" parabens) I will buy this again and again!

Makeup Brushes -Sigma - E10 Small Eye Liner (was SS210)
knightrider 6/18/2010 3:21:00 PM
Got this in the mail today! Use it with my gelliner. This is all I hoped for! Thin and stiff, and helps me make a perfect thin and natural line. Much better than those "flat" eyeliner brushes!

Mascara -Christian Dior - DiorShow Mascara Waterproof
knightrider 5/31/2010 4:21:00 PM
I give this a 2 because my lashes look nice after application. After a few hours at work I am "racoon" under my eyes. I cannot remove it BECAUSE IT'S WATERPROOF!! After work, I remove the black under my eyes with my eyemakeup-remover, and goes to the pool to test it even more. Even worse racoon-eyes!! And I have to go to the store like this!! I have used it one time. I'm not sure if I will use it again... I think I'd rather go without mascara than to be black-ish under my eyes! :/ SO dissappointed!

Eyeliner -Bare Escentuals - Buxom Lashliner -- Leatherette
knightrider 4/13/2010 6:51:00 PM
I just bought this. Have used it for two days. I really like this! It's easy to apply (with a good brush - for example Sigma - E10 Small Eye Liner Brush that gives me a thin line, just the way I like it! The eyeliner stays on the whole day! And it's without Parabens (yey!).

Lotions/ Creams -L'Occitane - 20% Shea Butter Hand Cream
knightrider 3/31/2010 3:21:00 PM
I really really wanted to love this product. My hands are so dry they sometimes bleed. The only hand cream that have ever cured them, is Weleda Sea Buckthorn Hand Cream (but they left my hands orange). I cannot find a replacement! Many have recommended this cream, other people with very dry hands. It got my hopes up - but, no... did not work better than other creams. It smells good, and do not use long time to dry so I can use my hands. But it feels like there's a "film" on my hands (the mineral oil, maybe?), and I can feel it when I wash my hands. I can even see it! I want the creme to be *in* my skin - not outside of it... Why didn't I buy the travel size...? EDIT: I have changed my rating from 2-4. After trying it for some few days more on one hand, and some crappy (and filthy expensive) Mary Kay on the other, I could clearly see a difference. And the hand was clearly getting better (not as good as when I used Weleda Sea Buckthorn Hand Cream though). EDIT2: Changed to 3 again. I really hate that it is like a "film" on top of my hands when I wash them. And I'm still very dry on my hands, even though it works better than other creams.

Conditioner -Jason Natural Cosmetics - Aloe Vera 84% Conditioner - Hair Nourishing Formula
knightrider 3/31/2010 3:08:00 PM
EDIT: I have now purchased a full size of this product to try it some more. I really love how soft it makes my hair look and feel. I cannot stop touching my hair. But I MUST use a SLS/SLES-shampo to clean the silicone out of my hair more often than once a week. I changed the rating from 2 to 4. If it did not contain silicone, I would have given it 5. Original review: I bought travel sizes of the Jason Aloe Vera 84% Shampoo and Conditioner. I was so proud of myself buying natural hair products (and shampoo without SLS and SLES!). The ingredient list was hidden behind a instructions label, so I checked it some days later before buying full sizes. I could not believe that natural products like that, could make my hair so shiny and nice! I was very satisfied! Until I found silicones in the ingredients lists!! WTF?? Do I need a SLS/SLES-shampoo to clean out leavings from my "natural" organic hairproducts?? I would probably have noticed the build-ups if I had continued using them, thinking I would not need SLS/SLES-shampoo! I have now ordered shampoo and conditioner from Weleda. With no SLS/SLES, silikones or parabens! (Aloe Vera 84% do not have parabens in them, but some of the other Jason hair products (that I bought for my husband) have them!) I shall never ever again buy ANY cosmetics without checking the ingredients first!

Blush -Bare Escentuals - Warmth All Over Face Color
knightrider 3/20/2010 1:48:00 PM
This is a very beautiful and natural color for blush. I love it! (remember to use veeeeeeery little!) It's a bit messy, that's why I give it a 4 instead of 5.
