I use the shade St Moritz and I have combination to dry skin. I love this as it is moisturising and the coverage is just right as I prefer to have a little flaw to show through and it gives a dewy look. There's always concealer if I needed to look flawless. I will definitely repurchase again.
Mascara -Giorgio Armani - Eyes to Kill - Excess Mascara
knicks 5/4/2013 10:26:00 AM
I'll always go back to using eyes to kill but recently, I've decided to try the excess and brought no. 1 Black and no. 3 Blue. So far, it has not smudged and I love how it holds up as well as it gave me length and volume to my short spare straight lashes. I would definitely recommend this mascara. My HG.
Didn't do anything to my short lashes and it makes my lashes clumpy after applying the second coat. I will not recommend or buy.
Liquid -Bobbi Brown - Long Wear Even Finish Foundation Spf 15

I personally like this foundation. My skin looks almost flawless naturally. I have acne scarring and I actually use much less concealer. I use 4.5 natural tan. it's just a tiny bit light for my skintone but 5 honey looks too dark on me but with bronzer it does the trick to get the colour to match my chest. It is definitely long wearing. I'm the kind of person who does not touch up thoughout the day but I just use tissue to blot my nose just once. I would definitely repurchase this foundation.
I love this mascara...the only issue is that it smears off after a couple of hours but I don't mind as long as I clean it up when I do touch up. I have short asian lashes and it does give length and volume.
Powder -Becca - Boudoir Skin Mineral Powder Foundation

This compact mineral foundation is my holy grail, ever since I've got it, I have look no more new foundations. For reference, I wear NC37 in Mac and Warm Natural in BB. I use the shade Rapture. I am proud to say that I suffer from Adult Acne and this product have not aggravated my skin during my healing process. I have been commented by so many on how my skin looks naturally good, although I do have a few acne scar. I'm almost finish with my first compact and I'm buying a second one tomorrow.
OMG! Im just speechless, this blush is absolutely gorgeous on my skintone. I'm an NC40-42. This had to be the throne from my other two favourite blush: MAC gingerly and BB apricot. I wanted to give the sales lady a big Thank you at the Nars counter; she says that it would look beautiful against my skintone and I would regret if I didn't buy.
I brought lilac and I'm in love with this lip shade. Finally, my HG lipstick. It's amazing with my NC 37-NC 40 skin. I've always been on a search for a cool pink tone lipstick. Although, it's not as moisturizing, there's always lip balm to fix it. I'm gonna but another to keep in my locker.
As an asian, I have short straight lashes. Personally I don't like using false lashes, therefore I've always been on a hunt on my HG mascara. So far, this is the only mascara that I've been religiously using. Although, it didn't hold the curl very well, I like the fact that it did lengthen my lashes. doesn't clump and looks very natural. I find that volume mascara will tend to clump even with one coat therefore I would avoid them. Would I repurchase, yes until I find my HG mascara.
I honestly like the consistency of this concealer as well as the pigmentation. But unfortunately cos I'm between shades: NC 35 & NW 35 for concealer. I find NC is too yellow toned and NW is too red tone. I just didn't want any hassle to mix to my tone. As in my morning routine, it takes me around 15 minutes to put my makeup on so I needed something fast. For those whom have no issue with the color match, I envy you. Would I repurchase, No, but I would still recommend.
This is the only concealer that worked for me, I use honeycomb and for reference in Nars, I use barcelona and bobbi brown, I use warm natural. I have acne scarring and redness. I tried a lot of concealer and this stays put if you set it with power then setting spray. One technique that I use is to use a concealer brush that is as small as the pencil tip and dab it on the blemish or acne scar. Don't spread yet. Wait for a minute for the concealer to set then lightly feather out the concealer with a small fluffy blending brush. Then wait for another minute then set it with powder. With concealers that are think and pigmented, I think you have to let it stay on the skin since the heat of your skin with melt down the product. ( Think of taking out the cheese from the fridge and putting it inside the microwave )
Brought this eyeliner without any intention. I walked by the Nars counter, to check whether they had the foundation pump in stock for my Nars sheer glow foundation which I really love. The sales lady says the larger than life eyeliner is waterproof and won't smudge. So I decided, what the heck, I'll give it a try and damn, I fell in love with the eyeliner. I brought the rue bonaparte and the madison avenue which is a beautiful grey tone eyeliner which goes which dark blue eyeshadows beautifully. Love, Love, Love and I plan to get some more to get the rest of the colours. Testing: I fell asleep with my makeup on and when I got up, it was still there.
First of all, the salesperson at the bare mineral counter in Hong kong was very rude. I asked to try the color and recommended me another color that would match my skin tone. She showed me a color that is way too orange for me and I knew it already that it won't match my skin tone. I'm an NC37-40. The color that was shown to me was for an NC 42 - 44. I may be tan but not dark tan as I know that I'm an early to light tan skin tone. I had her tried on one part of my face and I told her that it looked very orange but she wouldn't admit it. In the end, she couldn't find a shade and she just walked away from me. That was very rude. Never again I would purchase anything from Bare Minerals or recommend the brand itself.
It's day two trying out the pro activ. I've been breaking out badly due to being over stress, under sleep and working very long hours. I'm 31 and this is my last resort, lets see in a month time, if this doesn't work, I'm convinced to see a dermatologist. Will update in a months time. Update: It's Day 5 after using, I 've noticed that my acne is drying up but overall my skin is drying out especially at the cheek and chin at Day 3, I broke out with a couple of new acne. I think the proactive is too strong that it is drying my skin out and my skin is catching up in producing more oil to balance out my skin. Anyway, what I did yesterday is just go back to my old routine and use mild cleanser, my aloe vera toner and my moisturizer in the morning and use proactiv only at night. After one night my skin was still flaking but not that as bad as Day 3. By the way, yesterday I went and got myself SPF 50 sunscreen and add it my daily routine. I'm going to go for another week and see if this routine works. If it is far too drying, I might use proactiv every another day. Will update after a week. Update: Day 7 Okay, I'm convinced to see a dermatologist. This is ridiculous. I'm still breaking out just

It's a staple to use after I wash my hair. It keeps my hair in place after I blow dry.
