I've been using these since I was about 14 or 15. I have quite a few blackheads on the sides of my nostrils, and those are never pulled out, but if you have a few on the tippytop of your nose, then those are easily removed. My husband's a mechanic, and he LOVES these. He gets so funky and gross, so I introduced these to him a couple of months ago, and he probably does two strips a week, because the oil builds up faster, I guess? But I don't think his are as deep as my blackheads are. Shallower blackheads make the difference, maybe. they're a little painful, but I find if you pull the edges up a little bit at a time, it helps lessen it. and I don't know how to stop the papery bits from sticking, as others have mentioned. takes awhile to rinse all the "glue" off, but once it's gone, you do feel a little cleaner.
