BB Cream -Skin79 - dermaRX BB Cream [DISCONTINUED]

I am a NC25 Like the others said, when you first see the colour of the bb cream from the tube, it is really greyish, and myself, I am fairly fair. So I was surprised that it actually blended well onto my skin. It is no foundation by any means, I used it mostly for a make up base, and it does have great oil control and moisture control.. I tend to be dry on the cheeks and oily on my forehead. It worked great. I don't think there was any distinctive smell. It was kinda odorless. It's too bad they discontinued it though. I would repurchase.
Hair Removal -Unlisted Brand - Persian Wax-Persian Cold Wax

I have tried a lot of hair removal products in the past months, and this by far beats all the others. In terms of, ease of use - Yes. Super easy. Hair removed easily. Smooth skin for days. And water-soluable!!! The deal-breaker. Because that means, NO MESSY CLEANUP! smell- was odorless. Which is better than those perfumated to mask the wax smell. Price - was average in terms of other similar products. But well worth it in comparison to the other products. Packaging - was meh. But I really don't care for packaging, and I don't understand why MUA uses this as a criteria in the ratings. It's what inside that counts! I would definately buy again! I hope they don't discontinue! The newer Parissa warm wax is thumbs down, compared to this --- messy, messy, and useless!
Conditioner -Matrix - Biolage Color Care Conditioner

I generally liked this product. It leaves my color treated hair shiny and smooth, not frizzy. Would definately repurchase again.
Conditioner -L'Oreal - Feria Color Moisturizing Treatment.

I don't really understand the rave reviews for this product on here. I, like many others, went out to get this product after I dyed my hair. It doesn't really leave my hair silky, or shiny. For reference, I am asian so I have relatively straight hair. But this product - although washed off smoothly in the shower - left my hair dry and frizzy after air drying (I don't blow dry). I find the Matrix Biolage condition for color treated hair works WAY better - leaves my hair silkier and shinier after it dries. The Biolage was on sale so it was way cheaper than the Feria and works way better. I personally think 11 bucks CDN is alittle ridiculous for this stuff thats basically no better than your average Pantene.
Hair Removal -Unlisted Brand - Veet Stripless Warm Wax

Thumbs wayyyyy down. This product is the revamped product of their hot wax (strips needed but not provided, orange box) which I cannot find anywhere so I assume it's discontinue to make room for the new 'stripless waxes'. I have been waxing for about a few years now, and this is by far the worst I have ever tried. This stuff stinks like some kind of gluey plastic, and it looks like gooey plastic, especially if you buy the berry 'flavored' one. You put it on and good luck taking it off in one whole piece. The wax strip end up breaking apart and I had to pick at parts to peel it off. Not fun at all. Not only that, but it barely pulled off the hair, nevermind try to pick it up with these tiny bits of wax pieces, but ALSO it hurts like a biatch. Also good luck in washing it off your skin (if you can't peel it all the bits of broken pieces of wax), counters (if you get some on there), this stuff is not water soluable and they don't provide you with the those strong oils to aid in removing the wax. THUMBS WAY DOWN ! Extremely disappointed with Veet on this one.
I LOVE this lipgloss! I wasn't very used to the minty feel but after a while I grew to like it ... it really "cools" your lips to a natural hue with the minty feel (in addition to the color in the tint). The minty feel also makes your lip feel more moisturized especially if they are dry. And the natural tint of this brings a flattering shine and color to all. And for $5 US, you can't go wrong! Would definately re-buy .. if they sold it in Canada.
I decided to take the plunge and see what all the fuss is about for this blush, so on my last trip to the US, I headed to Sephora and picked up this blush. I am a NC20 and I this is how I found this blush.. 1. Universally flattering - NOT AT ALL. I am pretty fair and when I apply (enough) of this stuff to make it actually VISIBLE on my skin, I found it waaay too pink. Almost all the time I can barely get it to show up on my skin because it seems so sheer ... maybe thats why it's "universally" flattering ... you can barely see the stuff but you get the feel of blush on your cheeks. 2. Packaging - although the compact it comes in is cute.. it doesn't even come with a mirror or a brush to apply, which for the price you pay you'd think you'd get a little more than just the blush itself. 3. Price - yikes. For $25US which is about almost $30 CDN, definately not cheap, nor worth it. I have used cheaper blushes that showed up better and more flattering to my skin tone. Then again it's all subjective. I wouldn't re-buy.
Moisturizers -Ponds - Replenishing Moisturizer Lotion with Spf 15 [DISCONTINUED]

I really like this product as well! It's a shame they discontinued it. From what I hear they are restructuring it and packaging it into a smaller size and selling it for the same price.. Really sucks! Now I have to look for another good lotion. It's noncomedigenic and oil free and light weight, with a pleasant light scent. I did not experience any breakouts while using it. And I usually use it after I wash my face in the morning and at night. So sad I couldn't find it on the shelves anymore....
