This soap is really drying! As someone with really oily skin, I thought that this would be a great product for me. I must say, it was a bit of a strange experience to have oily AND flaking skin at the same time. After about three weeks of using it I had to stop because my skin was scaly and pretty unhappy. It just goes to show that a bit of oiliness can be a good thing!

Liquid -Clinique - Anti Blemish Solutions Liquid Make Up

This is my HG foundation! As someone who had severe acne, this never broke me out or irritated my acne and it provided enough coverage to make me feel like less of a pizza-faced freak. I used it thoughout many different acne treatments and it never caused any problems, even when my skin was rather dried out from Differin. Once I have managed to clear my acne I have been recommended to try other foundations, however, I always come back to this one because it works really well with oily skin and the alabaster shade is perfect for my skin! It goes on really easily and its easy to spread without being oily. It provides enough coverage to cover up uneven skin tone without looking like a cake-face. If you have active acne, it will cover up the redness without contributing to more acne in my experience. So if you have acne, or oily skin, I definitely recommend this product.

Treatments -Clinique - Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector

Im actually writing this review on behalf of my mother, because as I'm looking through products to review I saw this one and have to say something about it. My mum has pretty bad unevenness in her skin tone due to years of tanning (seriously! Don't go tanning unless you want major skin issues later!) and this product actually WORKS. She has been using it religiously for the past few months and her sunspots have lightened up noticeably. It has definitely helped with the "muddy" look of her complexion. So if this is an issue you are dealing with, I would give this product a go!

Liquid -Clinique - Superbalanced Foundation

I got talked into this foundation at the Clinique counter when I was asking for the blemish solutions foundation because the woman said that I shouldn't be using it if I don't have acne. This foundation is a deviation away from Clinique's usual quality, I would go as far as saying that it is terrible. I have oily skin, and this doesn't make anything "balanced", it made me an oily mess. Added to that, the bottle design is absurd, getting the product out is a task of its own! This may work for some people, but personally, it made my skin congested and oily and I stopped using it three days after purchasing it.

Primer/ Corrector -Clinique - Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector

As someone who has larger pores due to acne scarring, this product does a great job underneath my makeup at making them less noticeable. It goes on really smoothly and gives your skin a nice velvety feel after you apply it. I've only ever tried it in conjunction with Clinique's foundation so I don't know how it works with any others, but my foundation went smoothly over the top of this. Obviously a product isn't going to make your pores disappear, but this does definitely make them look more refined.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel

This was my daily moisturiser for several years, and it is great for young, oily skin. As someone who had really bad acne, this never contributed to breakouts and kept my skin well hydrated while I was using Differin. The consistency made it easy to apply and left my skin feeling hydrated by not greasy. It also makes a good base underneath makeup. Personally, I have since switched moisturisers because I kind of feel like this moisturiser adds moisture but that is it, and I was looking for a moisturiser that would do more for my skin. I found that after wearing makeup all day, I would end up looking rather oily but this is obviously a personal thing and not an indication about the effectiveness of the product. It's a shame that this moisturiser has no sebum control properties seeing as it is targeted at people with oily skin! However, if you are looking for just a plain, oil-free moisturiser, this is a great one.

Mascara -Clinique - High Impact Mascara

This is my favourite mascara, and I have tried quite a few! I have relatively average eyelashes and this makes them look really naturally thick and long. I wear this to work every day and this mascara is long-lasting (so no little bits under your eyes ever!) yet so easy to wash off at the end of the day. If I'm only wearing the mascara, I don't even need to use makeup remover on my eyes because it just washes off with water. The brush also seems to be why this mascara works so well. It really picks up every lash without making them clump and it easy to manoeuvre around your lashes. A recent positive thing I also have to say about this mascara is that it works great with brush on lash extensions.

Treatments (Eye) -Clinique - All About Eyes

At first, I loved this product. It went on smoothly and left my eye area feeling comfortable and hydrated. However, after about two weeks of use, I developed two milia under one of my eyes which I can only attribute to this product as I have never had this happen before. It's quite a shame, because besides from this factor which made me have to stop using it, it seemed to be a great product from my limited use of it. The packaging was the standard Clinique little jar, however, I personally would like this in a tube or a pump format as I'm a bit icky on the idea of dipping my fingers into product all the time.
