The 2 complaints I have of this product - the price, the container. It's expensive and it could have been packaged in a tube instead of a jar for hygiene sake. But I'd repurchase this cause I've not found a better detoxifying mask. I used this once a week on my sensitive skin. I just apply a thin layer and leave it on for 15 minutes. No burning, no stinging, no peeling, no redness, no breakout. I've been on this for about a month. After washing this off, my skin always feel very fresh and more even toned. I think this works better than all my exfoliants and whitening masks. I think it also does a better job in deep cleansing than my regular Biotherm Biopur purifying mask. If not for the price and container, I'd have given this 5 stars!

I've decided to edit my entire rating on this. It did break me out the first few days but I decided not to stop and just kept using it. The breakout stopped, my skin had a nice rosy pink glow, and whatever blemishes that were annoyingly there were slowly becoming history. This is very fast acting. It starts with purging the skin of impurities and then it works marvellously at all the aging lines, uneven tone and even post-acne scars. If you can tolerate the initial breakout (but some won't suffer this if their skin is good), I'd consider this product to be close to a miracle breakthrough! ****UPDATE** I'm increasing this from 4 to 5. Really great stuff!
I'm on my 2nd tube of this retinol product. I don't use it religiously but it's definitely the best treatment for wrinkles, eyebags, millia, skin tags, open pores, pitted scars and uneven skintone. This is pure retinol and thus should be used only at night as a treatment after toner. For oily/combi skin like mine, you can literally skip moisturizer. I even apply to my eyebags and dark circles. It's like an all-in-one for me. But be sure to wear a sunscreen in the day when you're not using this. Keep the tube in a cool place away from the sun to maintain the stability of the retinol. Thought I'm acne prone, this did not cause any breakout. I also have hyper-sensitive and dehydrated skin. This did not irritate my skin or cause it rash or dry up at all. IOPE is a luxury brand in Korea. This one goes for more than US$50 per tube but it's very worth the splurge. This comes in a 45ml tube that can last you a whole year cause you need just very little everytime.
The only complaint I have of this product is the size of this blusher. It's cheaper than MAC Sheertone but the volume is much lesser compared to MAC's. It's a pretty sheer blusher and works perfectly for my pale, fair skin. I have this in Aura (light shimmery peach pink) and Candy (bright pink). Both are great and look really natural and smooth. It doesn't change color throughout the day as opposed to some of the drugstore blushers I've used in the past that oxidized really bad on me.
It looks like a dark bright purple in the tube, one that you may stay away from unless you actually dab some on your lips to try. And I did just that. There was only 1 left in stock at my local store. I realise there must be a good reason why this is so saleable. The SA told me that they've discontinued this shade in Australia and told me to better get this last one she had in stock. It goes on a sheer frosty lavendar but good enough to be seen even on my pigmented lips. It really makes my lips glisten! Nice.
I tested this in the store. It went on so sheer that it looked almost "colorless" on my lips. It's pretty glossy and shiny. Very moisturizing but just lacks the pigment to show. Fortunately I tested this on my lips before I bought it. There's no staying power, rubs off real easily.
I bought this shade because it looks deliciously tempting in an unusual frosty pink with a tint of orange that goes on sheer and slightly glossy. It has a metallic edge yet not give you that cheap $2 lippie look you get from those "brandless" lipsticks. It probably resembles MAC's Pink Lemonade "lipglass" in the form of a lipstick. I love the Bloom lipstick packaging, cute and simple.
I liked this so much when I tested it in the store that I finally ended up with 2 of this same shade! It's a "glaze" and not a gloss. So for those who reviewed this and found that it's not shiny or glossy enough, they're probably unaware that this is somewhat a liquid lip color and not a lipgloss. This shade is a raspberry mauve pink that goes on like a YLBB on my moderately pigmented lips. It's not drying or sticky. It's quite comfortable and lasting. It even lasts me through meals and toothbrushing! The best way to reapply this is to wipe off your lips gently with a wet tissue, apply some balm and then reapply this glaze for that fresh look. I also use this same method for glosses and lipsticks when I need to reapply them throughout the day.
I've been using the ZA True White Mask and really like it a lot. So I decided to seek some friends' advice on other ZA True White products. True enough, I wasn't disappointed with this product. It didn't cause any breakout, already the first consolation to repurchase. I used this for about 4 days (twice a day) on top of my moisturizer on uneven colored areas of my face. This really helped to brighten my skin. Once I'm finished with my night cream, I will definitely purchase the True White Night Cream of which I heard is really good.
Think I'll be going to the store to repurchase this and stock it up before the sale promotion ends. Got this from a friend who got it in a swap. Perfect shade (buff) that matches my fair Asian skintone. I took a lippie off cause I think the price to pay for a drugstore foundation like this one is too high. But still, it's cheaper than my MUFE Mat Velvet. UPDATE **: I've been using this for over a week. I've upgraded this from "4" to "5" A+++++!
I've used several brands of purifying and clay masks in the past but nothing seems to work as good as this one in terms of mattifying and deep cleansing. I can feel my skin is really clean after I wash off. My complexion appears fairer and more matte. Best used after exfoliation and before a hydrating mask on a twice weekly basis. I have very sensitive skin and this mask did not cause any breakout which is truly a blessing. **UPDATE** I've decided to bum this up from a "4" to "5" cause I think it's my HG now. It really makes my skin better in terms of clarity and smoothness. And my pores have seem less obvious..really!
I got this as a gift. But I wouldn't have picked this as my choice perfume. It's quite a boring fragrance. So far I've not gotten any compliments. No matter how much I spray, the fragrance disappears within minutes! When I checked the price, it was darn expensive too. I quite like the bottle but it's terribly heavy. Gals, my co-worker always compliments me when I wear other fragrances but she never says a thing about this one. And she's got a good nose for perfumes b'cos she owns more than a dozen brands and used to work in a perfumery.
This is very much a daywear foundation. It has sheer coverage and doesn't cover major blemishes. But I love the natural and lightweight finish it gives. I can even skip the powder! I don't feel I'm wearing foundation. This is like a sheerer version of Lancome Teint Idole. I will wear this for very casual occasions like evenings out for dinner with friends, shopping, study groups where I just need something to really make me look presentable and decent; yet au naturel. Definitely not a foundation I'll wear to work cause I have to conduct close-up interviews with people and always needing to look good for many long hours under strong, bright lights.
When the stores ran out of stock for the Freshel Pure Soap, the sales promoter said this would be a perfect replacement. So I got a bottle to try. YES, she's very right. It foams up like the Pure Soap and cleans very well without any grainy substance that tears the skin. Nevertheless, like the Pure Soap, will only use this in the evening after removing makeup. My skin is ultra-sensitive and acne-prone. This powder wash surprisingly did not irritate or cause breakout. And no tight feeling despite that it cleans well. Most foaming wash dehydrates my skin but not Kanebo Freshel.
This essence is pretty cheap compared to other whitening essences I've used in the past. And it's liquid base. No stickiness, no greasiness, no irritation, no breakout. After using this night and day for 2 weeks, I notice my skintone has evened out a lot and my acne scars have lightened considerably. But I've also been using the entire line of Freshel White C. So I guess using the whole range helps to get quick and better results too. Will definitely repurchase and stock this up during the sale!
