This was disappointing. For one thing, do not expect mega lashes; if you layer it over something else it works better. I have had a few good days where I layered it over something and made it through most of the day without smudging or flaking. Today was not one of those days. Today I used it alone. Not only were my lashes quite unremarkable but I had flaking all day long and the flakes got into my eyes. I am about to march back to Sephora with this ($31 w/shipping charges :P)
X Blush is a lovely pink w/gold shimmer, not over-the-top shimmer, just a pretty glow. The perfect pink for me (NC30 brunette). Easy application, lasts all day w/o retouching. I will most definitely repurchase, this may be my alltime favorite blush. I don't care for the smell (patchouli?) but it's not strong enough to be an issue. Love this blush.
I bought this because of all the great reviews; however this is the first MAC e/s I am going to return. This color just looks awful on me (NC30 brunette). I have tried it w/just about everything else, in principle it should look fabulous, but something is off, are there greenish tones in here that are throwing it off for me? back to mac pronto.
Miracle product. Stranded-on-a-deserted-island miracle product. My hair is over 40, colored, bone dry. The before & after difference is amazing. I will never stop using this. No frizz, shine, unbelievable feel. No I don't work for Nexxus, but I've tried everything else out there and this delivers.
I got a sample of this and it is the best mascara I have ever used. Truly lengthens and it's the only mascara I own that does not smudge.
Returning this tomorrow. The can is cute and the products apply well, but none of these colors work for me (NC30). For $25 I would expect better than cardboard containers too.
Not sure if it's because of the All Soft Shampoo or Conditioner, but I will not repurchase because my hair is TOO soft after using this, frizzier and harder to manage. My hair is thick, slight wave, colored. Edit 12/23/04: I started using a flatiron and now I love this conditioner. Will definitely repurchase.
This is a good shampoo, not sure if I will buy again because my hair is almost too soft, I mean frizzier, but that may be because of the All Soft conditioner. Edit 12/23/04: Ever since I started using a flatiron, I love this shampoo. Will definitely repurchase.
Eye Shadow -MAC - Fiction Eyeshadow [DISCONTINUED]

This is a great eyeshadow, great dark olive color with bit of goldtone shimmer, NOT glitter. Less or more, wet or dry, it works. Try it with the Powersurge liner. I wish it came with an applicator or in a compact with a highlighter. Will definitely repurchase.
Oh dear, another MAC product I thought I had to have. I tried a sample one day at the mall and had to make a few trips back to find it. Of course once I had it, I had to wonder why I went out of my way to get it. Just a bit too bright orange for my coloring.
I have to agree with MLster below. I have been using the Shimmers quad almost every day for probably a few years now; I love this eyeshadow (I have brown eyes). The only problem is that the powder breaks up in the packaging. I still love it and will continue to buy as long as they keep making it. No creasing here, wears wonderfully all day long. Great selection of four colors. Edit 12/23/04: I went palette-crazy at Sephora, fun but the Shimmers quad is still my HG.
Conditioner -L'Oreal - Feria Color Moisturizing Treatment.

The BEST conditioner on the market. I did not know you could buy it at Sally's; I used it from the Feria haircolor and now I have my hair colored so I don't buy Feria anymore but I found this at a flea market for $1/tube. My hair is dry/colored/over40/almost hopeless - till I tried Redken Extreme Shampoo, then this as a conditioner, and every two weeks either Aphogee or Nexxus Emergencee protein reconstructor treatments. Miracle products.
As advertised, this shampoo is designed as a "fortifier for distressed hair." Therefore it does not contain the detergents etc that will produce lots of lather. You will not get the squeaky clean feel because it is meant to be gentle and not strip the living daylights out of your hair. I have dry colored hair, I am in my 40's and was looking for a mild shampoo which would clean without stripping or drying and I found this in the Productville reviews for Nexxus Emergencee. I love this shampoo. I follow up with Nexxus Keraphix. Every two weeks, I use either N Emergencee or Aphogee protein reconstructor treatments and my hair is finally looking as nice as it did before I had to cover the grays! I might not be using it if I were younger and looking for that just-washed feeling, but for my type of hair it is a wonder product. I will occasionally use a stronger shampoo for deeper cleaning, but I hate the way my hair feels afterwards. Extreme is my HG shampoo for dry damaged hair.
I have been using this almost continuously since it came out. My HG of moisturizers. The scent to me is very mild and the ingredients nonirritating. I love the texture of it and it is the best base for my foundation. Better than LaMer in appearance and ease of application. A little bit pricey but I can't find a drugstore brand that compares to this. I am 45 years old, normal skin. It is not an oily cream either so I would recommend to younger users.
What a disappointment since I love Definicils. This was part of a GWP. I did not expect curl as my lashes are very straight, but this mascara barely shows up except for the smudges and flakes under my eyes twenty minutes after application. Maybelline does way better than this.
