Initially I really liked this, I mean like how soft is this! I honestly cannot stop touching it when I first got it and took it out of the box. However after a few washes, I realized it's not as soft as when I first received it, and also it drags my foundation (when I use this to apply powder over liquid foundation).
Tease-y Does It is a gorgeous deep plum-y plum color with fuchsia (well it seems fuchsia to me, I could be wrong) and gold glass-flecks. [Well according to ALU it's vampy, deep plum hue with gold and red micro- glitter and a near dupe for Chanel's Feu De Russie] Initially I mistook it to be a duo-chrome as I saw pictures on it online, so I was rather disappointed when it arrived and noticed that it was not. However, it wasn't all disappointment because it still turned out to be a gorgeous color! Others mentioned it's warm-toned, and I think it's a great fall color. Like for all OPI polishes, this one is B3F and comes with a wide brush as well. I personally love the wide brush as it is easier to apply the polish, however those with slim or small nails might not like it much. Pictures: (sorry, no idea how to just make the pictures appear!) These were not taken in sunlight, wait till you see it in sunlight, BAM! http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4065/5125526387_4abb618ed0.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4064/5126134688_3d2680664c.jpg http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1404/5126136180_263d77bd34.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4040/5125530817_962bdac6ee.jpg However overall I am not too sure if I will purchase this again because as you all know, a bottle of polish can last quite a while, and I might get bored of the color after a few years, heh. ;D Edit: On my second day with this polish on there is tip wear and VERY minor chipping. Nail Tek II Foundation as BC and Seche as TC.
Most people, like me, do not really read the descriptions when it comes to purchasing things online. I only read the descriptions if I am very interested in the product and it's costly, so I can be very sure of what I am buying. However, given this is only $3, and it just says bronzer, I thought- what else is there needed to know? Well, this is not exactly a bronzer, even though it says Golden Bronzer. It is described by E.L.F as "sheer soft powders provide an illuminating shimmer." And it's directions stated: "Blend all 4 colors together to create A SHIMMERING GLOW." Which means it is not supposed to be like a bronzer that warms up your face or give you a bronze look, but to act more as a highlighter to give you that (healthy) glow! This also works great as a eyeshadow quad, so for the price of $3, you get 4 eyeshadows and a highlighter! This product is very shimmery, I used to use it however now thanks to acne and scars, I not longer use it because I think its shimmer highlights my scars/acne. When it comes to the powder.... we kind of have a problem here. Even when light handle-ly swirling my brush around, there will be too much excess powder coming out and creating a mess and I've to throw some product out to make everything neat = wasting product. Other than that, I think it works great as a highlighter for a nice glow, and as an eyeshadow quad.
Does this work: Yes. What does it smells like: I can't quite describe it... sweet fruity smell. I got this soap as a sample together with my LUSH Rock Star Soap. Initially I like this soap better than Rock Star because I thought it smell better, however over time I got sick of the smell pretty fast. When I first smell it, it doesn't smell very special, just like any other soap? The more I smell it the more I like it and can really get to appreciate the fruity smell of the soap. After using it for 2 weeks, I got sick of the smell, and it is just this soap. I cut the sample into half, one to use at my kitchen sink and the other in the shower since I liked the smell. I alternate using this and Rock Star. This lathers better than Rock Star, but I find this drying. The size I cut and use at the kitchen sink is about 25g, and I've been using it for 2 weeks daily, and there is still quite an amount left, so I can say this bar lasts quite long. It looks disgusting now though, there is white residue coating the bar of soap, and the color changed to pale pink now. It may be due to the water on the soap dish though, like after soaking the soap in water long it might look like this. The smell lingers on your skin after you use it, longer than Rock Star. In a nutshell: I will not buy this soap again because I got sick of the smell, and I find it drying. I suggest you do not buy this if you have dry skin as it will further dry your skin out. P/S DO NOT STORE YOUR SOAP IN THE FRIDGE! I was silly enough to store 'em in there because I was afraid they would melt, however the moisture from the fridge wets my soap and made it melt a little. T.T
Does this product work: It cleans my body... so yes. What does it smell like: Sweet, smells like vanilla and artificial bubblegum. I read one of the review that it smells like melted rubber or something, and when I sniffed it I realized it does, however it's only if I think of it. Otherwise if I just smell it, it smells like vanilla and artificial bubblegum to me. I do not like how this goes on my skin. It skids, and it does not lather very well. So this is what I do, I cut a small chunk of the big bar of soap so the whole thing does not melt in the bathroom. I rub the small chunk onto my bath lily with some water, so it lathers SO much more better and I rub the bath lily all over my body. I think this uses up the soap much more faster though. Initially I am not too fond of the smell because it smells like fake bubblegum and too sweet, but over time the smell just grows on me. It is quite creamy, however I do not find it very moisturizing or whatsoever, a little drying in fact. The soap does last pretty long, and do not melt very fast. I cut a chunk about 25g-30g, and it lasted more than 2 weeks. In a nutshell: I like this product because of the smell, name and because it is pink! It works, it cleans your body but it does not moisturize and last pretty long.. I suggest you do not get this if you are not too keen on very sweet smells. The smell does linger on you after shower, but not for very long. The whole bathroom will smell of this scent after you use it btw. I might not buy this again because I realized LUSH products are over priced and over hyped (I gave in to the hype!), it depends if I will get sick of the scent after using the whole bar. P/S DO NOT STORE YOUR SOAP IN THE FRIDGE! I was silly enough to store 'em in there because I was afraid they would melt, however the moisture from the fridge wets my soap and made it melt a little. *grumbles* (Irrelevant but I hate how I can't undo something in this boxes in MUA, just type a whole review and deleted it by accident. But for this awesome stuff, I shall rewrite!) This stuff, is pure awesomeness. Let me tell you I've peeling skin for years, YEARS I TELL YOU! I've tried various type of hand creams etc and none of them ever worked for me to get rid of them. Then I've gotten into the nail junk etc and was introduced to cuticle oils. This baby was featured in one of xsparkage's vids and was one of Scrangie's top list or whatever, so I had to try it out. I've tried ChG Orange Cuticle Oil and it worked great, however it never really got rid of my peeling skin on my fingers. This, however got rid of peeling skin and cuticles never looked better! Stopped using it for a few months and peeling skin is back! Used this again and it's gone! Awesome. SolarOil contains natural ingredients, including Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E so that makes it even more awesome. ;D Initially I wasn't a fan of the sweet almond smell, but after a while I got used to it so it wasn't a problem. (: You just have to use a little so a little goes a long way, one bottle last pretty long! However I hate how the oil can lead to the cap so it doesn't close tight. So just be careful not to bring this around in your purse or it might leak! You can use SolarBalm as an alternative for your purse, but SolarBalm and SolarOil is totally different in my opinion.
This is not a very good eyeshadow brush at all. Let me explain why. Firstly, after the first time I washed it, the brush starts to 'spilt' as in you know how come girls have bangs and sometimes there is a gap in the middle because they did not comb it properly or so? Yeah that is the same thing that happened to my brush and I was like OMG what happened, and I thought I was too rough with it but I wasn't! It'll be fine after some reshaping, but after time it will still continue to 'spilt'. Secondly, this brush is not dense at all. It's not too good at picking up eyeshadow with it and applying it on the lids. Maybe it'll be fine to pack on or dust eyeshadow onto the lids instead but then again you have to swirl it several times before enough eyeshadow is on your brush. It does an okay job for applying eyeshadow on, but not good enough Thirdly, it's quite pokey. Some times, not every time, when I apply eyeshadow onto my lids, the bristles literally pokes my lid and it hurts! Fourthly, it's O-V-E-R-P-R-I-C-E-D. I'm pretty sure you can find A MUCH BETTER brush at this price, or cheaper. Try E.L.F or Eco Tools. I've seen a fake TBS eyeshadow brush in a store and it might be better? It looks more dense as well too. Okay what I like about this brush though, is using the tip to apply gel liners or eyeshadow as a liner because it is so thin. In a nutshell: This brush sucks and overpriced, I take forever to apply eyeshadow onto my eyes as it does not pick up most eyeshadow and does not apply well onto my eyelids. You're better off with E.L.F dollar eyeshadow brush. Will not repurchase.
I am really surprise at all the bad reviews for this brush. The first time I receive it and felt it, I was like "huh, not really all that soft" and my friend agreed. However after I washed it and use it on my face, it feels real soft and nice, and I use this for my mineral foundation or buffering loose powder. It does its job, however this is my only first 'proper' kabuki brush (previous one was a free kabuki brush from Maybelline but it was soooooo scratchy) so I can't compare it. I bought this brush because I feel I need a proper kabuki brush and Enkore mentioned it in one of his videos + I think it looks super cute with it being all pink so I went ahead to get one! This brush - Does not shed (maybe, one two strands occasionally?) - Relatively soft. - Color doesn't bleed. - Not very dense but still alright - Does it job I am not too sure if I will get it again if it spoils though, because I am always constantly buying new brushes to try them out, so I will probably buy another brush to try out when this spoils. If I were to go back in time and see if I were to buy this, then yes I will still buy it.
I really like this base coat, it's my favorite base coat (and feel it's the best) I've used so far. It gives a nice, cool feeling when applied, and it dries fast. A plus is that because it is from OPI, it has that big brush that I loooove. :D I like how the brush is pink as well. I've used this for all my recent manicures and my nail polish doesn't chip until maybe 4-5 days later, but it's a very very tiny chip. I used SV top coat w all my manicures. This base coat helps with nail polish staining as well!
This is a great cleanser- I was 'recovering' from my break out caused by the Clinique Skin Care System and this clears my face relatively fast. It also clear some of my clogged pores. This does not get rid of all of my clogged pores/blemishes or any redness though.
It's a pretty nice body lotion- although not VERY moisturizing. It has a nice sorta fruity but peppermint smell to it. I didn't quite like the smell initially because it was too sweet, but after that I took a liking to it. However for some reason, this gave me rashes and red spot on my body?! I know it is this body lotion because after I stopped applying it, red spots and rashes are gone and when I used it again, I got rashes and red spots again. ): This lotion gives a very cooling feeling as well, according to some of the reviews I see, they don't like it, but I live in a hot and humid country so I see it as a plus instead. (:
*heaves super big heavy sigh* I wished I had read the reviews before trying it. This is really awful. I wanted to like this because it seems really good, and I wanted to believe in Clinique. The 'raves' on Youtube tempt me into giving this a try, since all I've been using since I became a teenager was Clean&Clear and TBS, but none of them seems of make my skin better. C&C doesn't make my skin worse, but it doesn't exactly make it better either.+ where I come from, C&C is one of the worse brands in facial cleansing. So I wanna use something that everyone likes or high end because I am just so silly. I was using C&C back again after switching cleansers, and my skin has no break outs at all (maybe a few clogged pores and a little redness) but otherwise no acnes, no whiteheads. The first time I used the cleanser, I quite like it because it made my skin feels smooth. No comments on the toner and moisturizer because I feel it does not do anything. One week later, a few white heads pop out. Stubbornness in me kept using it because I refused to believe it's Clinique's products that make it like this! Used it for another week. More white heads than I ever had and I can't take it no more. )): My skin now is in it's WORSE STATE EVER and I am returning to C&C till I can find a better cleanser.

Quoting of my friend "OMG I can't believe how fake this (make the lashes) look!" I bought this quite some time back and honestly one of the reasons I bought it for was for the packaging. I mean how cute! Black with pink and the stripes! Also it claims it curls the lashes and back then I was all into making my lashes curl like no forever. Okay, this really lengthen the lashes and add a little volume, and it does hold curls. However it clumps! Not like clumps like crazy but it clumps if I do not apply it 'properly' eg when I apply it in a rush, and this left me so frustrated cos' I ended up spending more time trying to make my lashes look 'okay' by either combing through the lashes or removing some mascara with my fingers and end up plucking out my own lashes. ): Once I looked at my friend's lashes (she has amazingly lashes that curls like awesome naturally), and I asked if she put mascara one time we were out, and she said yes. So wondering how hers doesn't clump and look natural, I knew it was my mascara. (Okay I used to think all mascara looked unnatural on the lashes no matter what.) So after that I tried applying this mascara in a different way, like at a certain angle, and if I apply at a 'right angle' it doesn't clump as much as it used to, (though it still doesn't look natural). I probably will not buy again, and will be looking for a better mascara to try because at SGD$17.90, I think there are much better mascaras out there. (: Some people mentioned that it is hard to remove, yes it is, but recently I've been using baby oil to remove my eye make-up and it removes the mascara quite easily! (:
Strawberry Fields is part of China Glaze Summer Days 2009 collection. This is my favorite color in that collection, and one of my favorite nail color in my entire collection! According to ALU "The gold shimmer and base color that falls somewhere between magenta and rose makes this one stand out in a sea of summer-friendly pinks" It is a really pretty hot pink with gold flecks in it that gives a really summery feel. It applies nicely which is a +! The only thing I wish is that China Glaze brushes would be bigger so you can apply the polish on your nail with just three strokes!
Sorry but I hate this!! The only thing I like is that it dries fast, but I like my SV soo much better. My nail polish chipped the very next day after I used this as my top coat. It did not happen only one time, so much for anti-chip! Weird cos' when I apply this to the tip of my nails to prevent chipping, the tip turns matte?! This thickens very fast as well, I added thinner but it doesn't work, when I continued to use it as a top coat there are bubbles ): will never never buy it again!
