i scoured the grocery store after getting a NASTY sunburn for an aloe gel product. i am a pasty irish girl and this burn was HEINOUS. everything i found in the skincare aisle were all in HUGE bottles and $6+. i was so bummed. i thought i'd have to just suffer because i didn't need a huge bottle and i thought $6+ was a ridiculous amount to pay for no name brand gel. anyways, i stumbled upon the baby products aisle and though i'd look. i saw the Johnson & Johnson Baby Oil Gel and it was onsale from it's regular $3.99 to $2.99. it was a normal sized bottle (6.5 oz). i bought it, brought it home and slathered it all over my burn. went to bed with it on, the next morning i seriously could not feel my burn AT ALL. it's still beet red but the pain is completely gone. after my first application i put it in the fridge. i just applied it again and it feels great, cooled my arm right down, and the pain of the burn is totally gone. my only complaint is that this stuff is 100% water resistant. it takes a bit to wash it off hands but whatever, it's worth it. the Aloe Vera and Vitamin E are great additions. i love the baby smell. overall, an amazing product for an insane sunburn. i HIGHLY recommend it.
got this palette from my coworkers for my birthday. the colors are gorgeous, compliment my hazel/green eyes soooo much. they are mineral-y looking, which is my favorite look right now. love the shimmer and the coverage is very easy to control. the packaging is adorable! i love everything about this palette!
i was intrigued by all the good things everyone was saying about this stuff. i mashed together 8 aspirins and added enough water for it to be somewhat soupy. i slathered on my face and left it there for about 10 minutes, until it became dry and started flaking off everywhere. when i rinsed it off i rubbed the aspirin bits into my skin until they were washed away. my skin feels tight, suer smooth, looks clearer and i feel better about some zits i had that got dried up by this method. definitely something every girl must try!
like everyone else i wanted to buy a low end bronzer to see if they would work on me before i bought a more expensive one. this bronzer is very light but a very flattering golden hue - looks good on my PPP skin. the key is to not OD on this stuff, if you do your face will look dirty. like this bronzer a lot though!

a friend got this for me in paris. i use it on my legs right after i shaved them. its awesome! i love the slight oily sheen, the smell is great, and its not heavy at all. i need to explore the other uses of this great dry oil!
RIS - will update when i try it out more.
this product is ok. nice pretty pink although i thought the glitter would be ravishing and sparkly but it looks frosted on - NOT the look i was going for. smell is a bit funky. but i like the compact packaging. in theory i loved this stuff, but in reality not so much.
pretty pink color, kinda gets lost on me but the gloss factor is nice. goes on tacky and is very sticky. ok product but dare i say that the bonne bell ripoffs are better than these?
i love the fragrance of this stuff! i smelled it and instantly thought that it would be a perfect PMU in my car. it just reminds me of summer and the fruity scent definitely picks me up. the reviews are right though, the scent totally DOESN'T LAST at all. but this was my first demeter fragrance so i'm not dissapointed. probably wouldn't buy another one though.
bought this yesterday at sephora for $5. gorgeous frosty brown/beige color. very versatile - it's like a chameleon eyeliner - makes my eyes look green or brown in different situations. i throw this on sometimes just w/mascara. looks great however you wear it. i LOVE this e/l and will defintely be buying more sephora jumbo sticks!
bought #144 at sephora for $3.50. it looked like the perfect toenail summer color - and i was totally right! a lot of people complain that this chips easily but i did 2 coats of the color and 2 clear top coats and it stayed on for a good 2 weeks before i had to start touching it up. great polish, i completely love the color.
i bought the round blush brush but it seemed to just eat my blush and i never got enough on my face. so, i decided to go with this one. the bristles are shorter and the brush itself is just smaller and thinner, and i like that a lot about it. the slant give the perfect angle and you can swipe blush on in more than one way - on cheekbones, just apples, higher nearer to the eye, etc. what was i thinking with that round blush brush!?
bought this at sephora for $18. the liner is a nice plummy purple color. it looks nice on but is really hard and hurts my lids when i try to apply it. also, it keeps getting squashed in the cap even though i twist it down when i'm done. the smudger is good but smudges too much, i try to blend but it makes the liner virtually dissapear. the liquid eyeshadow is ok too, nothing to write home about and there are plenty better e/s out there. this item is convenient to travel with because it's so compact but i'm not impressed by it at all.
