Moisturizers -Vaseline - Petroleum Jelly

Everyone needs to own a jar of this stuff. It's cheap, protects and moisturizes the lips, and heals the chapped elbows and other dry places on the skin. It's just a necessity (especially if you live up in New England like me!). The only problem is that it's very easy for bacteria to cultivate in that big jar. I would much prefer some Vaseline with the same consistency in a tube. It's still a wonderful product and I use it every night on my lips before bed.

Scrubs -St. Ives - Apricot Scrub

I really like this exfoliator. I have the type that has salicylic acid as an active ingredient for ance-fighting. I use this probably once a week, and it really sloughs the dead skin off. I have read many reviews saying that it's very bad and too harsh for the gentle skin on the face. The exfoliating chunks are quite big, and it may be dangerous for the skin if used too often. Therefore, I would not recommend using this product more than twice a week. It is definitely something I always have on hand, and it does a wonderful job with preventing blackheads.

Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)

I really love Philosophy products, and this is definitely my favorite. I use this every day to cleanse my face at night, and usually a very little amount will take off almost all my makeup (if I have a lot of eye-makeup I use a bit more). I have normal-dry skin, and this cleanser is quite moisturizing compared to other cleansers I've used (Noxzema, Aveeno). It doesn't require a lot of rubbing this product around to get my makeup off, which I really like. Wonderful product!

Blush -NARS - Orgasm Blush

This is such a beautiful color blush. I have very fair skin, and this is wonderfully illuminating and gives a wonderful color. I have to say though, it's quite pricey, however I have used it exclusively for almost a year now and I'm not even close to hitting pan.

Love this stuff. For my lips, a balm made with petroleum jelly is a must, and this one isn't just bland Vaseline, which I still use every night. But the packaging is small and easily fits into my purse. I currently use the type in the tin, (which has lasted forever) but I will probably be purchasing the one in the tube because it's more sanitary. I use this stuff for my lips, dry patches on my face, and chapped elbows. It works great!

Liquid -Rimmel - Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation

This is a really great foundation. It covers up my blemishes and acne, without looking cakey or anything, and provides a great base for my concealer and blush. I have combination skin, and it's definitely not drying, but doesn't cause me to get too oily, only a bit of dewiness usually happens after a full day of having it on. It stays on pretty much all day, but I would say after around 18-19 hours it starts to lose it's power. It's a wonderful product and I have repurchased twice already.

Concealers -Kat Von D - Tattoo Concealer

I LOVE this concealer. It's actually the best I've ever used. I have very bad under-eye circles, but when I use this under my eyes, the circles just disappear. It's a great lightweight consistency for under the eyes and over acne and blemishes. The container allows a very little bit to come out and that's all you need. The amount of product also will last a very long time since you don't need very much to get perfect coverage. Very happy I found this product!
