Overall I think that this is a good powder. However I was expecting a lot more from it. I expected it to keep my skin matte no matter what, I was expecting it to keep me matte better than any other powder and it didn't. This is a good powder a good setting powder it doesn't leave me with that powdery look after I set my foundation which is a plus and it has decent oil control but I bought the color rich which is the darkest and i feel is a little to dark and to red for me. I don't know if easrth would be to light for me. Anyways I would buy this again because it is affordable but I just don't feel like its amazing.
Don't like it. I normally use carmex and wanted to try something different just because. I don't like normal chapstick I don't feel like it's moisturizing enough and this doesn't really seem that diffy. I feel like I have to put alot on. aways not horrible but wouldn't repurchase.
Okay, so this is a good quality foundation, but there are some things about it I don't like. Being dark skinned there is about four dark colors which beats most drugstore brands by two. I got mahogany which is a shade to dark for me cappucino is close but way to orangy red for me. So I got mah. which I mix with a lighter foundation. It keeps my skin pretty matte and dosen't transfer much which I love! The things I don't like is the selection of colors for dark skin, also it is VERY RUNNY so it's almost impossible to not pour to much out. Also the coverage is good but for me it's too much for everyday wear. Good foundation but I wish they had better colors and lighter coverage.
Eyeliner -Prestige - Total Intensity Eyeliner Deepest Black

Good liner, intense black, lasts a good amount of time on my waterline. went on pretty smooth on my upper lash line. Reasonably priced about 5 6 bucks on drugstore.com
Love this liner! It is very creamy last a long time on my water line is very pigmented the only problem is that it smudges a little in my outer corner on one of my eyes but that only happends sometimes. I would say this is like a creamy version of the wet n wild gel liner.
Okay so I have a quick story. First before I start I just want to say that for everyone that this worked for I'm really happy for them but let me tell you my experiemce. When I was about 13 I noticed that I would sweat alot without really doing to much of anything tried a lot of deodorants nothing really worked to well so I got this. At first when I used it at night then it worked pretty well for a while then I noticed it wasn't working as well as it once did. So I started using it at night and in the morning and that worked really well for a while then that stopped so I started using this like crazy and I developed a blockage under my arm that I had to get cut out by a doctor. So I researchased deodorant and found MAXIM if certain dry dosen't work for you try maxim I am so happy with it, its a life saver!
Greasy. I have oily skin so for me it's pretty normal to get oil break through after a couple hours but with this as soon as I put it on grease ball. After I powder my face it still looks semi matte but after an hour or so it gets greasy again. I have used m.o.m. under it hd powder on top and same results I even mixed it with a matte foundation still the same. I like the pump and glass bottle, even the color match, but def. wouldnt repurchase.
Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - HiP Metallic Duo - Charged #910

Really pretty colors. The lighter color is like a mustard gold yellow color. The darker is like a mixture of bronze and copper. These shadows are pretty average quality, to be higher priced I thought they would be better than other's but I need a base for the color to show up good and for it to not fade. But the colors are pretty and I would repurchase
Primer/ Corrector -Unlisted Brand - Monistat - Chafing Relief Powder-Gel

I generally perfer silicone based clear gel primer so when I heard there was a cheap dupe I had to try it. Big mistake, I have pretty oily skin and I use milk of mag (which works great btw) and put this on top and it made my skin so oily like I never put on milk of mag in the first place. So for me this is a no go!
Cleansers -E.L.F. - Studio Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths

These broke me out.I tried these after having them for a while because I didn't wat to use them because you are suppose to cleanse your face after using these even when i did that I still had makeup coming off on my wash cloth after wards which is the main reason why I don't like to have to wash my face after so I don't dirty up my washcloth, I just like to use my wipe to get all the makeup off anyways it broke me out didn't remove all my makeup and they kind of stung my eyes. Wouldn't repurchase.
This is a orangy golden light bronzy color, very shimmery almost looks metallic. This color is very close to covergirl's golden sunrise, this is just alot more shimmery.

I love this color I would describe it as an orangy golden light bronze. I love this for summer it is really nicely pigmented I dont need a base under it. Just gorgeous!
Polishes -Sally Hansen - Xtreme Wear in Wet Cement

I like this color, it's a mid tone gray. I needed about two coats and it's not streaky. I did notice slight chips after two days but it will last longer with a top coat.
This is a nice color, a medium darkish gray. I got this color because I saw someone with a dark skin tone with a taupe color and it looked really nice on her, but on me I didn't like it because it had to much brown in it, it looked weird on me, but this color I would say is a good alternative to taupe for me. The brush is kind of thin which having long nails I'm not crazy about, the opacity of it was okay I needed about 2 and a half coats, I got chipping after about 3 days very minimal but still chips. anyways I like the color and I probably would repurchase.
Pressed Powders -Black Radiance - Bronze Glow 8606A
kikirose 1/20/2012 11:20:00 PM
Okay so I just wanted to start off by saying that this is not a bronzer it is a pressed powder and the color name is bronze glow. And also I want to say that I have it in the color warm hazel bronze is the next color darker from hazel, anyways this is a really good powder, you can use this just on your bare skin along with concealer and it gives pretty good coverage you know if you don't have alot to cover. you can also use it to set foundation. i don't think this is great at oil control but i really like this powder and there are alot of color options for dark skin and it's affordable, it does have one flaw it's kind of powdery.
