I really like this brush. I use it to pack on color to my lid and it gets the job done. Very soft bristles, would def recommend.
My "go to" brush everyday! This is an awesome brush for blending, it's soft and gets the job done! Def my hg right now. It's worth a try at only $1.
Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - L'Oreal Colour Riche Lip Gloss Soft Nude
kiki77 11/18/2008 11:32:00 AM
Love this gloss! It is the most natural soft nude color! I use it when I normally do a smokey eye and the balance is awesome! My only grip about it, is that it doesn't last long, so constantly re-applying. Other than that, would def re-purchase cause I love the color so much!
Shampoo -Clairol - Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Shampoo
kiki77 11/18/2008 11:27:00 AM
Love this stuff. I have naturally straight hair, however the top layer tends to frizz a bit. I use this and pair it w/the same conditioner and my hair is always left feeling smooth and the frizziness is def under control!
Ok so herd about the hype of this mascara so I purchased it w/out waiting for it to go on sale...(I'm very impatient like that). Anyways, I tried it out and to be honest, it just didn't work for me. It clumped on me and didn't really make my lashes look nice at all! Used an eyelash comb and it still made my lashes stick together. I'm not a fan of the shorter wand either, although I must admit the shape of the tube is comfortable while applying. The one and only thing that I def liked about it is that there is practically NO smearing/smudging when removing it. The little "tubes" do really literally just come right off. Will not be re-purchasing.
My hg mascara so far. I have fairly long lashes, but needed some volume so I tried this few years back and have stuck with it. Although from time to time I try out new d/s mascara's, I always seem to come back to this one. Doesn't flake or smudge on me at all. Would def recommend!
Loose Powders -Coastal Scents - Silica Spheres Powder
kiki77 11/18/2008 11:05:00 AM
Wow, just got my order in from CS yesterday and tried out this powder to set my Revlon c/s foundation...amazing! This stuff made my skin sooo soft, it really felt like I had NO powder on. I've herd this is dup for mufe hd powder which I've never tried, so can't compare. But I'm loving the softness it gives my face and my skin looks so much more smoooother! I have post acne scars on my cheeks/jawline and this stuff did make them a bit less noticeable. Which in my book, anything that makes even the slightest difference when hiding imperfections is totally worth it! And for $4 for 1 oz......you can't go wrong! Try it!
I found it! And it is worth the $12.99 I paid for it. (Actually I purchased 2 of them). I've been searching every Target store near me and thanks to a fellow mua'er I finally own 2 of them! Used it today for the first time to apply my Revlon c/s foundation and I looove it. Def my HG brush!!
Blush -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Glo Illuminating Powder - Strike-A-Pose-Rose #346
kiki77 11/14/2008 2:33:00 PM
This stuff is great, it works well as blush or highlighter. The color is perfect and never too over-powering. Def HG material. I only wish it came in a flip-top lid instead of having to unscrew it, but than again that could just be my laziness! lol
My HG for contouring hands down. Nothing compares or comes close and for the price...you can't beat it! Little goes a long way so it will last a very long time before having to re-purchase. Although I've contemplated purching back-up's cause these puppies are hard to find near me! Love it.
Loose Powders -Dermablend - Original loose setting powder
kiki77 11/14/2008 2:22:00 PM
Have used Dermablend line for MANY years and love the original loose setting powder. Although I use different liquid foundations, I can pretty much use this as a setting powder for almost any foundation. I use the colorless version and it lasts a very long time! Only thing is make sure not to overload the brush, puff, or however you choose to apply it, as if used too much, it can look a bit cakey.
Concealers -Unlisted Brand - CoverBlend by Exuviance
kiki77 11/14/2008 2:19:00 PM
Have used this concealer for few years now and love it. Doesn't crease and lasts! It's def a multi tasking concealer, couldn't live without! Packaging makes it very easy to use. I "tap" it under my eyes and set w/powder. Little goes a looong way.
Love the staying power of this stuff. You just have to work quicky when blending or it gets a bit tough to blend. I apply it with the CS duo fiber brush. Just don't care for the packaging.
Misc Beauty Tools -E.L.F. - Mechanical Eyelash Curler
kiki77 11/14/2008 2:12:00 PM
Love this curler. Doesn't tug or pinch at all, handle is pretty cool/comfy. Would def recommend/purchase again. Heck for $1 who wouldn't? lol
Makeup Brushes -Coastal Scents - Duo Fiber Stippling Brush
kiki77 11/14/2008 11:53:00 AM
My goodness do I love this brush! Apply my liquid foundation with this brush and the results are awesome compared to using sponge application. It did shed at first, but after few washes it's good to go! Def re-purchase, but hate the shipping from CS. Took 1 lippe off due to this.
