I just recieved my very first ever inglot rainbows in the mail last weekend, and I love them! I just barely had to touch my brush to a color and it picked up enough product to sweep across my entire lid in one swipe. The rainbow shadows are matte, and very pigmented. Not only that, but personally I like the rainbow effect, because it is very pretty!! I currently own 119r, 114r, and 105r, but I plan to get every single rainbow that Inglot has at some point. Yay for Inglot!! P.s. we gotta all come together some way and get Inglot to make more stores around the U.S. so that we can partake of their beauties in store!!! What do you say ladies!! Any ideas, pm me :)
I was in Nordstrom and was looking at Nars blushes, when this little gem caught my eye. I am a sucker for sparkles and shimmer, and I grabbed this blush immediately. When i decided to try it on a bit later, i noticed that it is quite pigmented and that you see a bit less shimmer on the cheeks than you do in the pan, which is great. I love shimmer, but I do NOT want to look like a disco ball. It's all about balance. This is a darker pink than Desire is, and this blush is very close to looking exactly like Elf's Fushia Fusion blush, which I already have and love. very, very pretty and lasts all day, as do all of the Nars blushes that I own.
wow, what a beautiful blush! I am NW 15 and this pink blush looks great with my skin tone. It is very pigmented, so i had to use a light hand and rub some of the blush off my brush to avoid looking like a clown. This is very quickly becoming one of my favorties blushes in my stash. i actually own quite alot of blushes, so it will take me quite a while to hit pan with this, so I don't think i will repurchase anytime soon, unless Nars decided to discontiue it for some reason. In that case i would definatley buy a back-up of this. So pretty!
Palettes -NYX - Nude on Nude Palette (20 eyeshadow + 10 lip)

This is a great palette for neutral eyeshadows. They are pigmented enough so that you get a nice, more natural look with them, but you can definatley go more dramatic with the darker colors if you prefer. This is a great product for the price, and also includes lipgloss in the slide out drawer beneath the eyeshadows. I would definately recommend this palette if you do not want to spend the $50 on the Naked palettes (even thou there are some eyeshadows in the Naked's that are definatley not in this palette and are really beautiful) if you just want something that you can make looks for an everyday kind of thing. It has a mix of shimmer and matte shadows, so there is something for everyone. I definatley recommend :)
Eye Shadow -Lancome - Color Design 5 Shadow & Liner Palette

I have this in Pink Envy and these shadows are shimmery and soooo beautiful. These are easily the prettiest eyeshadows I've ever owned. They blend so easily also. I use Urban Decay Primer potion under my eyeshadows, and they stay put all day. The lightest color in this palette works great as an inner corner highlight and the light pink highlight color looks very shimmery and sheer on the lid. I love putting the med pink color in the crease for a pop of color. They grey color is very pigmented and dark on the eye, but personally I don't use that one very often since it's hard to get dark colors to work for me (lack of skills and I'm extrememly pale LOL). The liner is purple and is also very pigmented and beautiful. If only this palette was a little cheaper, I would buy the whole lot LOL. But i am seriously thinking about getting the Amethyst one next since I loooove purples.
This is a newer version of the original Candlelight highlighter compact. This gives a beautiful glow, but it does have some shimmer in it, so I make sure to use lightly along the tops of my cheekbones and the bridge of my nose. I like how it looks so cute with the chandelier stamped into the powder and the pink and white two-toned powder is pretty (I'm a sucker for anything girlie XD). Really liking this so far.
This has to be the prettiest purple eyeshadow that i have ever worn. Beautiful Iris, when you apply to the lid (i use about 3 coats so you can really see this) is purple but has a pearly/duochrome blueish effect to it-really pretty! I am new to Mac's eyeshadows, so I was very pleasantly surprised at the beauty in this eyeshadow. I use UDPP before I wear any eyeshadows, and with it, beautiful iris stays put all day. Definately a great color to wear on your lids for spring. You can use this color as part of a bright eye look, or, if you want a more neutral look, but a pop of color, you can swipe this on the lid and add a medium brown shade in the crease. There are numerous ways that you can wear this purple. I have lots of eyeshadows and pretty much use them all (rotating), so it will probably take me quite a while to hit pan with this, but if I do, I will definatley repurchase. This a staple in my makeup collection.
OMG this has to be one of the best and prettiest blushes that I have ever owned and worn. This looks baby pink on my cheeks (in a natural way, and i know b/c I looked at my daughter's cheeks and mine were the same light pink color as hers) and I mean wow. This blush is awesome. In fact I may go buy a b/u just for the hell of if b/c I love it so much. It is not chalky at all, and very pigmented (alot gets on the brush in one sweep) so be careful when you apply this blush so that you don't get too much on. A plus is the Dior monogram stamped on the blush, but i'm trying to enjoy that while it lasts (which won't be very long considering that I'm going to be using this blush quite a bit now!). I took pics of it lol, so at least I've got it saved to my phone of how it looked before I dug into it haahahah. I highly recommend this blush to anyone that is having any doubts about buying this. You will not regret it. And it's permanent because it is so popular, so if you can't get it right now, you have time to get it when you can.
I really love this limited edition palette (and that's why i put 'would not repurchase'-because it is l/e and i have so many eyeshadows i would never need to repurch)! The colors are very pretty and pigmented enough so that when i apply them, they blend seamlessly into one another instead of screaming "look at me!", and that is what i personally prefer. But if you want more pigment, its not hard to get it at all. So you have to be careful if you want a subtle look like i do with esp. the darker shadows in this palette. I love that they are shimmery (addicted to shimmer, mmmmm). I wish this was permanent b/c when i use this one up, i would def repurch for the colors! Verry happy i got this :)
Eyeliner -NYX - Super Skinny & Super Fat Eye Marker
kiki005us 4/18/2012 7:13:00 AM
I absolutley LOVE this eyeliner!!! The other eyeliner I use is great and jet black, but too liquidy so that when I apply it, it gets all over my long upper lashes and I have to keep wiping it off them so that it doesn't dry and flake all over my face. The Nyx one does not do this at all. When you first apply, the line goes on black, but you have to go over it again to get it the darkness that you want. But what I do is I use the Nyx marker to draw the liner in and the shape that I want, then when I'm satisfied with that, I take my Almay liquid liner (the one that gets on my lashes) and wipe it off some, then make a little tiny wing, just about the length of my lashes, so that it looks natural. So instead of using the Almay over my whole lashline, i'm just making the wing with it, and it doesn't get on my lashes as bad. When I really want to get down toward the inner corner of my upper lashline, to make a full line across the lid, I use the Nyx marker, since I found out that it does not smudge or transfer to my lower lid. The Nyx lasts all day on me, no matter what I'm doing. Great staying power! This is a GREAT liner and i will keep buying forever!!
I love this mascara!! I have longer lashes and this mascara really fans them out (if you stay under 3 coats) and volumizes them. It doesn't flake or smudge by the end of the day, which is a huge plus for me. I am on the trial size that I got from Sephora a bit back, and I bought another trial size (just can't see spending so much on a full sized one if they have the trial sized ones, which last quite a while) for when i run out of this one. I always make sure to wipe off the end since it has quite a bit of product on it when you pull the wand out of the tube. This ensures for even and clump-less application. Just an awesome mascara :)
I love this blush. It was my hg until I really started getting into blushes and I found that there are some really pretty blushes out there. I would get this again, but it's been DC'd. I really used this as a highlighter, it is really pretty for that purpose more than a blush. Used as a blush, it didn't really give my cheeks any pigment.
This foundation is the best foundation i have ever tried. It matches my skin color exactly, gives me a glow, does not make me look greasy, and wears all day on me. I have had no issues with this product whatsoever. It just really makes me look like I have beautiful skin. I mean it doesn't even look like foundation when I wear it (you know the look, caked on, makeupy, pancake face!). I have really dry skin and this does not dry my skin out and does not make any flaky patches, and stays looking great the whole day!! And that is really saying something when it comes to my skin. I mean even TM couldn't do that for my face! It covers enough so that, like I said, it makes me look like I have the most beautiful skin ever. I mean even my concealer looks great at all day with this (exactly like it does in the morning). Wow. I will buy this foundation forever, and as long as I continue to absolutely LOVE this product, it will be the only foundation that I will ever wear.
I love this so much that i just went and bought one for my bag too! I have this in Strawberry and it looks really pretty on! Also tastes like mint. They are only a couple of dollars which is great. They remind me of the lipbutters, only better. I will keep buying these until they stop making them.
I am on the fence about this concealer. I have tried it on under my eyes to cover the darkness and it does that almost like 70%. But it seems cakey and doesn't blend in completely. I am thinking about trying different ways of application to see if I can get this to work for me, since it seems to be a good concealer and might cover if I get it to do right. I don't know about this right now, but I will update on what happens with this product.
