If you are at all sensitive about fragrance, this is not the product for you. Usually with a new fragrance I smell it on myself for a little while, then grow accustomed to it and it just sort of softens and blends into the background. The scent of Coolaulin never softened on me. It was too intense and was even commented upon by those in close contact with me. While some have raved that this is the best coconut smell they have encountered, I am afraid I am with those that feel the coconut scent does not smell natural at all, and I have smelled fresh coconut! As for effectiveness, another disappointment. The Lush website says "Use this one on curly, dry or processed hair when it's feeling a bit rough." My hair was a bit more rough after use than before I used it!
I am torn about this product. It did a great job stripping out all of the built up product in my hair and made it feel soft and clean. Not a lot is needed for a head full of creamy foam. The problem: it stripped out my hair color. Not noticeably the first time I used it, but am noticing it more after the second shampoo. I will use this shampoo only in an emergency and because of the price ($11.50 for 3.3 oz), will not repurchase.
I wanted to love this -- but it failed in nearly every way. The best thing was the color I chose - Beige. Very nice neutral shade. As with previous reviewers, I had problems with too too much product coming out and being wasted, or not enough, leaving the bristles of the brush too stiff, separated and harsh for my eyelids. Great concept, but it just doesn't work, especially for the price.
I have to join the "Love It" choir! The small, smooth beads are so gentle, my face feels fabulous after I use this exfoliator. Soft, smooth and so clean, without being drying. This works just as well on my shoulders, "decolletage" and neck. I don't have to use too much (it has a creamy medium thick consistency) and the fragrance is soft to non-existant. Just a Fabulous product!

I bought the Pomegranate and the Green Tea, both exfoliated well and had good staying power, love the clog-proof packaging. I put the Pomegranate on in the morning and reapplied the GT after lunch. PROBLEM: I soon began to experience a weird numbness on the back half my tongue, a little like novacaine. It took me a few days to figure out why because I was also taking new eye medication that had a funny taste. After I stopped using the Lip Therapy for about a week, my tongue felt normal again. The package says "Do not ingest", they must mean "Do not ingest any amount at all". And I am not one to lick my lips or snack on my lip balm!

I love this brush and use it daily. I know some feel the bristles are too hard/harsh, but I believe they have gotten softer in the 3-4 years that I have used this brush. The small size is convenient for travel and home, the shape of the handle fits my hand nicely. This is a keeper!
I have no idea where I got this brush but I Love It! The slightly rounded, tapered tip of this brush is SO soft. The silky bristles are 1/2 inch long and firm so it is easy to control. The total length of my brush is 5 inches, the rounded handle is silver (wood?) and tapers toward the end. Because it is firm, it is versatile, I can use it to shadow my whole eyelid, contour at the crease and even use as a liner in a pinch. Cleans up beautifully, I have had this for years!
I received a very generous 9 ml sample bottle with my web purchase of Fragonard. I have to say I am so pleased with Vanille that it is now a contender for "wear time"! This is not your same old, predictable sugary-sweet vanilla scent. It has more personality and depth, more smokey and grown up. Because of that depth, it suits me best during the Fall and Winter.
Although this looks like a pinkish toned lavender in the package, on me it turns a dusky "more dark lavender-than-pink" with silvery highlights. I had to have this after reading all the high praise, and have to say it is so worth it! Sounds like MAC discontinued this at one time, but it is now available on their website, so don't pay crazy prices for "samples". When I first apply this to my eyelids, it looks too silvery, but that tones down fairly quickly to a lovely dusky tone. It is easy to control the density of color by applying in careful "layers". I have medium skin tone, black hair and brown eyes.
This Lip Conditioner is wonderful! I agree that it is a bit fragile and looks a bit small, but don't disregard all of the product in the base of the tube. Also, DHC has introduced a new "Lip Cream" that is $7 for .05 oz and looks to have replaced the LC. The packaging looks as if they are trying to make it less frail and prone to breakage. Not sure if it is the same formula.
I really liked the minty-ness (pleasant scent and a touch of "warmth" after application) and the softness of my lips after first using this lip treatment. The BIG downside for me is that I used it before going to bed and for some reason it dried out my lips AND the skin around my lips. I then tried it during the day only and after first feeling dewy soft for an hour or so, the dryness returned.
