Lipstick -Bobbi Brown - Treatment Lipshine - Pink Glisten

This is beautiful! I have Papaya and Pink Glisten. Pink Glisten is baby pink color, think Barbie and Papaya is a deeper pink with hits of coral and fushia. This is for the girl on the go or the girl who doesn't prefer lipstick but loves a gloss yet hates how glosses fade so quickly. I wear this alone or with a stain underneath and the lip treatment on top. It brightens by entire look and makes me look young and fresh. This has a beautiful staying power and a little goes a long way. The packaging is a steel like tube, very high end but still nice and light for cosmetic bags. I have one in my gym bag, one in my purse and another in my makeup kit. Gorgeous item and I can not wait to try more colors. I am tan, with blonde hair and blue eyes in my early 30's and Pink Glisten is my stable color I get compliments all the time. I have purchased Pink Glisten twice and Papaya once but only so I could have several tubes in several places. I doubt I will need another soon since it lasts longer then any gloss I have ever owned but I would repurchase in a heartbeat. Even at $22 a pop, its worth every cent to me. Even Chanel (my previous fav) doesnt match up and BB is less expensive, likely why I justify the price! Try this out a Bobbi Brown counter xoxox

Moisturizers -La Mer - Oil Absorbing Lotion
rated 5 of 5

Amazing, oil free, matte lotion. It completly agrees with my skin which is oily in the T zone and can sometimes be dry on my lips and cheeks. This is super expensive! My most expensive beauty product but worth it to me. I pay $190 for 1.7 ounces at Neimans or Saks in the US or LaMer online offers 3.4 ounces for $310 so you save $80. I took a lippy off for packaging because you can't see the product through the bottle so you don't know when you're getting close to running out. It's lightly fragranced, not over powering and keeps my skin from shining. This product has helped the appearance of my skin and never breaks me out. I'm acne prone the week before my monthly cycle or if I eat badly. This my favorite lotion and I'm happy a little goes along way so I can continue to splurge on it. 2-3 pumps covers my face, throat and chest area and the 1.7 oz bottle lasted 6 months. I'm expecting the 3.4 oz to last about a year with applying twice daily.

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara
rated 5 of 5

The perfect mascara! Its just what it says, Full & Soft. My lashes are never clumpy, never hard, just purely long and gorgeous! I have long, blonde, straight lashes and this transforms them into the most gorgeous lashes ever! I get compliments all the time on how pretty they are and have even been asked if I wear extensions when I have this one. Its amazing that the best mascara I have ever tried was Maybelline. Its really shocking to me. I have spent so much money on Dior, Chanel, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, every high end brand, you name it, I tried it. This is my go-to mascara every time. I always come back and I don't know why I ever try anything else.

Lip Gloss -Laura Mercier - Lip Glace
rated 5 of 5

These glosses are beautiful! I wish they had more staying power though. They are heavenly scented, vanilla marshmellowy! YUM! They have a gorgeous shine to them but some are shimmery (subtle, soft shimmer) and others are sheer. I found this out when I purchased Baby Doll and Bon Bon. Two similar shades but one has a shimmer to it, the other is all sheen. But both beautiful bride pinks. I am also a fan of glossimers and Bobbi Brown lipgloss. The applicator on LM is better then BB and you get more product, a big tube not BB's small tubes and the scent in LM's is beautiful in comparison to Chanel. I have all 3 artists glosses and I wish someone would make one in a large tube, with the right applicator, the perfect shimmer and sheen and a great staying power with the scent of LM's gloss. I would pay $$$ for that perfect gloss!

Blush -Bobbi Brown - apricot powder blush
rated 5 of 5

I never thought I'd pay $22 for a blush! However this is by far the best blush product I have ever purchased! This blush is highly pigmented and lasts all day. I started with Peony and love the bright beautiful color but its better on me in the evenings. I purchased Pale Pink and love it for the day time, it is a little more subtle. The new Apricot is so gorgeous with a tan. So now that I have purchased three colors from BB's blush line I will never use another product only just continue to grow my color collection. You will be amazed how long this product lasts. I wear it everyday and a little goes along way and I still have what looks like a new compact. You definitely get what you pay for with this product and I know you'll be pleased with what BB can do to enhance your beauty!

Powder -Laura Mercier - Foundation Powder
rated 5 of 5
kellijhudson 8/21/2010 1:04:00 AM

This powder foundation is brilliant. Its light weight, it covers beautifully, it doesn't cake, its build-able, it reduces shine, its matte, it is everything. I could go on and on. I have used every product out there. Liquid, minerals, powders, powder foundation and I can't explain how much money I have wasted on products that just don't do what they say they will. I have seen the difference in quality from high end products to cheap-o drug store brands. This is a high end, great quality product. My skin is combo skin and my pores are enlarged and I have an oily T-zone. Pretty typical. This product is by far the best I have come across. I can talk all day about how great it is but we all want to know the down side. 1. Price. You get more for your money with other high end department store products. This one however a little goes a long way, so I justify the price. Plus I love the way it looks and lasts compared to others. 2. No SPF. I also justify that because I love to use it with the oil free tinted moisturizer. Gorgeous results and the tinted moisturizer has the SPF. Also, girls who have bridal photos, wedding photos or family photos coming up remember that it is the SPF that makes the face appear "ghostly white" its nice to have a product with great coverage on the market with no SPF for this very reason. My wedding pictures were amazing wearing this product. 3. Bulk. The design is a little bulky for my makeup bag. I like sleek design. This has an area under the powder that the puff stays in but I also have the pressed mineral powder and its more of a sleek design however no where to hide a puff for touch ups. I use a brush with the mineral powder anyway. So enough said? Definitely give this a try. Its worth it. I spray tan and have a natural olive tone with oily T zone. I use #7. My BFF is fair with pretty freckles and drier skin and she uses #2. Hands down best we have ever used! :)

Lip Gloss -Chanel - Glossimer
rated 5 of 5
kellijhudson 8/21/2010 1:00:00 AM

Gorgeous colors, good staying power and I love the shine they give. I typically have to purchase at the department store because online shopping can be deceiving. Some are high shine, some are glittery, some are just pure sheer colors. I have about 20 of these in all shades of the rainbow and I adore the collection I have started. Chanel does a beautiful job with the glossimers!

Cleansers -Bobbi Brown - Extra Balm Rinse
rated 5 of 5
kellijhudson 8/21/2010 12:55:00 AM

I actually got a sample of this and thought, how nice I rich lip balm. I can always use a new lip balm. Well I've been using it as a lip balm since the day I unscrewed the cap. The sample packaging is very deceiving. Now I have gotten to the point where I am almost out and I wanted to get on Makeup Alley to see if there are any others out there that might be that bit better and low and behold, this isn't a lip balm AT ALL! I was shocked! Seriously, still am. This is called Extra Balm Rinse and is supposed to be used as a cleanser.... Are you kidding me? Its like Vaseline. I never!! Well, what now? Do I buy a $50+ dollar jar of lip balm? I just had to write... was anyone as confused as I was when getting the sample package? I love this stuff, but I love it for my lips! I love the scent, the texture, the way its makes them dreamy creamy and luscious, I love wearing overnight and waking up to soft supple lips. How can this not be a lip balm???
