Eye Shadow -Ulta - Eye Shadow

I got this eyeshadow in Wisteria Lane, which is a greyish purple color. It's a very subtle color but I think it's just that color, since I haven't tried any other shades of Ulta eyeshadow. It goes on very smoothly and doesn't smudge. I would buy it again, but probably in another color.

Eyeliner -Ulta - Automatic eyeliner in Raisin

I liked the Ulta Automatic eyeliner in black, so I decided to try a different color. This is not worth the $8 pricetag at all. While the actual product works fine, the pigmentation is terrible. It barely shows up even when you go over it 20 times. The color is also more of a dark purple than the color of the eyeliner. I like the automatic eyeliner, just not this color.

This eyeliner smudges very easily on the top lid. However I used it on my waterline and it was perfect, it didn't smudge or run and it's the first eyeliner that I've tried that worked perfectly on my waterline. It's $3USD so it's absolutely worth a try to see if it works for you.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express One by One

I like this mascara. I love the design of the brush. It's really good for length and does not clump, but as for volume it doesn't have much to offer. It's still a good product and one of my favorite mascaras.

Eyeliner -Ulta - Automatic eyeliner Black

This eyeliner is okay, nothing amazing. I love the design of it and I like that you don't have to sharpen it. It's a kind of grayish color, not black, so I went over it twice just to darken it. It glides on easily. It's pretty good but the $8 USD pricetag is kind of high for such a simple product. It's also kind of tiny but it's a pretty good quality. It also doesn't go onto the waterline very well so if you use eyeliner there this won't work.

Eye Shadow -Cover Girl - Smoky ShadowBlast

I wanted to like this, but it didn't work out. I have the pink one. The 'step one' side broke when I was done applying it, plus it felt weird and sticky on my eyes and tugged at the skin. I tried using the other side but it did not look good at all. I chucked it in the trash as soon as I was done trying it, I expected better. Good idea but poor execution basically.

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara

This mascara works decently but it's very basic. The brush is very small and does not do much for volume, length or fullness. Maybelline has lots of other really good mascaras that are better for pretty much the same price. If you don't like the fake lashes this would probably work for you because it doesn't do much. But if you're looking for dramatic, noticeable lashes this won't work.

This is a decent product, not amazing. It tends to cake and look splotchy. I don't see a big difference with my oily skin, either. The big problem I have with it is how difficult it is to get it out of the bottle, I have to store it upside down so it's easier to get out. It's an okay product but the design of it ruins it.

I'm glad E.L.F. products are so cheap because I haven't had very good luck with them. I wanted to like this eyeliner, I liked the shape of the product and the color, plus I was looking for a cheap felt tip eyeliner because all of the ones I have tend to dry out. This was no exception. As I started to put it on, I was happy with the color, thickness of the line and how easy it was to draw a precise line. Until it dried up. It dried on the brush WHILE I was applying it and I had to continuously get more product onto the brush because it kept hardening while I was trying to put it on, which was a big waste of time. After I finally got it on one eye it began to sting my upper eyelid (and I know I didn't get any in my eye) and became painful. I still don't know why that happened but I immediately wiped it off and used a different eyeliner. It's not even worth the $1 I paid for it.

Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Lineur Intense

I have the brush-tip version of this eyeliner in black. I've been using it for a few years now and I LOVE it, it's the only liquid eyeliner I use. It can be hard to control the brush and that makes it difficult to make a precise line. It also tends to run a bit and gets in my eyes and eyelashes if it's too close to the lashline. A packaging problem is that the tube often gets pulled out which can be messy and annoying. After a little while it tends to crumble and flake so I always wear it with eyeshadow and a cheap pencil eyeliner underneath, which helps it to stick and also helps to make a more accurate line. Flaws aside it's a great color and I love the brush tip because I find that felt tips never work for me. It's pretty expensive (I think it's about $9 USD) but it gets the job done.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Colossal Waterproof

I love this mascara. I don't use it a lot because I accidentally bought the waterproof version instead of regular, but it's good for special occassions. I wore it on my prom night and after hours of dancing and sweating it still looked perfect. The brush is really good too and does not cause clumping. It basically stays on forever which is good if you have a big event and don't want smudging or fading. The only thing keeping it from a 5 is that it is really hard to get off so it's not the best for everyday use. It also smells pretty bad but it's not a big deal since you can only smell it when you're applying it.

I love Maybelline mascaras. It tends to make my eyelashes clump together but it makes them dark and noticeable, which is good for me since I have short eyelashes. Good for everyday use.

I really hate this product. On dry hair all it did was make my hair greasy and wet. On wet hair it did nothing for me. It was a big waste of money. I have thick, long hair that tends to frizz a lot and wanted something to keep flyaways and frizz to a minimum, this wasn't the product for me. I will not be purchasing this again.

Eye Shadow -Sephora - Chrome 5

I bought this eyeshadow on clearance for about $5. I love the color, it's purple but has a gold shimmer to it. This is my go to eyeliner for every day use. Sephora is pretty expensive but it's worth the moeny in some cases, I use this eyeshadow almost every day and I still haven't ran out though I got it 2 years ago. The price is pretty high and I probably won't be getting it on clearance again because my nearby store rarely has eyeshadows for sale but it is worth the money.

I receive this product as a gift. I really like the eyeshadows, it offers a big range of colors. I can't see myself using most of them but the purple and neutral tones are perfect. It's hard to get to the bottom compartment, so maneuvering the product is tricky. I do not like the eyeshadow brushes but it's not a problem if you have others you use anyway.The lip colors are kind of goopy and feel sticky, it's a shame because there's some really nice colors in there. The eyeliner isn't too bad but it's really tiny. I did not like the mascara either, it's very goopy and clumpy and hard to get on. You can't really tell the difference between with it or without it. The blushes are good too and a nice size. I won't buy it because of the high price tag but I do like the eyeshadows and blushes.
