this packaging is so cute! Strawberry Sorbet is the first flavor i've tried. the flavor at first tasted artificial/plastic-y strawberry, but i've grown to like it. this product may seem unmoisturizing, because if you only do one or two sweeps across your lips, then they will feel weird, not shiny, and it will just not look good. however, the trick is to apply a generous amount, and press hard! i guess that the balm needs to be warmed by your lips, and when it is, the finish is smooth and shiny. the price was okay, i got it for 2.99 at target, and it was the only flavor. i saw that all the flavors are at five below, so when i'm done with this one i'm gonna pick up summer fruit and sweet mint :)

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Colossal Waterproof

amazing mascara! holds the curl, lengthens amazingly, and has good volume! although Colossal is a great mascara, i have to say that i really don't see a difference between colossal and the falsies :b i think that the falsies is cheaper though. i definitely recommend this mascara! however like any mascara it smudges HORRIBLY in the summer time, and if you wear contacts like me, it will smudge -_- . when i'm just wearing glasses though it wears nicely. **EDIT: although i love the initial results, this mascara as well as all of the maybelline waterproof mascaras is very irritating to the eyes, especially if you wear contacts :(

Eyeliner -New York Color - Liquid Eyeliner

the only other liquid liner i've tried is Wet n Wild h2o proof liner, and that wasn't too great, so i wasn't really expecting anything. i love the brush of this liner! it's not stiff and hard, and it's not too flimsy. it's nice and thin so i can make thin lines easily, but i can make thicker lines too. however the brush is long so that may be hard for some people to use. it's a nice dark black, and i think that there's one other shade called pearlized black. right now is the first time i'm wearing it, so i can't speak if there's smudging or flaking. but this definitely isn't waterproof because i could fix my line easily with a q-tip and water, so this probably shouldn't be worn in the summertime :P

Brows -Wet 'n' Wild - kohl/ eyeliner/ brow

these pencils have a great creamy consistency, but that's the reason it's so bad. i tried lining my top lid and waterline with the black shade. it gets easily smudged and always ends up under my eyes in minutes! the dark brown shade is great for my eyebrows though, so i will probably buy it again for that purpose. for pencil eyeliner, though, i guess i'm sticking with Almay.

Lips -Jordana - Easyshine Glossy Lip Color

i don't usually buy from Jordana bc i see it at the dollar store, but my friend absolutely loves this product and recommended it to me. i got Sweet Strawberry and Fresh Melon for $2.49 each, but i'm sure that the makeup boutique overpriced it :P Sweet Strawberry didn't really smell like strawberries, and i didn't expect it to, nor did it have a taste. didn't really matter, bc it gave a great tint of red that wasn't too loud! this kinda feels like an extremely thin lip gloss or a tinted, comfortable chapstick. Fresh Melon on the otherhand - WOW! i absolutely love the scent, smells just like Extra Fruit Sensations watermelon gum. it gave me a subtle, barely-there color. doesn't really matter bc it tastes so good! i definitely recommend this product, especially bc of the price. i won't underestimate the power of this brand again! if only the strawberry one had taste... :P

beautiful color, and i used to have the same shade by OPI. a coat or two and i'm good to go. i would buy this polish again because it's only 99 cents, BUT i've only been wearing it since yesterday and already it chipped a lot. you get what you paid for, but even so this is a great metallic-y dark red for fall and winter.

i really wanted to like this 99 cent lipstick, but really... the smell is horrible, like a fake fruity, plastic scent. kinda like kids' play makeup. the bullet doesn't screw all the way down so watch out in case you scrape it with the cap. the shade was soooo bright and red. i liked the way it felt on my lips, but i would never ever wear it during the day time. i wouldn't recommend retro red, unless you like extremely bright, orangey red shades.

i love my liquid lipshine in Nude York City, so i was looking for a good nude lipstick to have under it, also from NYC. i got mine for $0.99 at CVS (i love this brands prices!). this lipstick has a weird, plasticky fruity smell that i hate. it stays for a while too, but it goes away eventually. cafe is a pretty color that looks great under Nude York City, but by itself it is waaaaaayyyy too frosty. in direct light, my lips looked white! i would buy this again if i had to - it's really cheap and decent when under the right lip gloss.

i didn't like this lip lacquer at all, and i'm surprised to see so many good reviews! the product was extremely thick, heavy, and sticky, so i could feel it sitting on my lips like glue. when i smacked my my lips to distribute it, my lips were stuck together! i also didn't like the colors i got (chelsea girls, sweet charity) because they looked waaayyy too light, like an alien's lips. i reallllyy wanted to like this product because i am very pleased with the pure matte lipstick.

my first gel/creme eyeliner, and i love it! first i had h2o proof liquid liner and hated it. this creme liner, though, is nice and smooth. there was no smudging, and it only flaked when i was rubbing my eyes like crazy at the end of the day. it removed easily too. i'm not really into the packaging, it's kinda a weird shaped pot.. (i really don't like how most WnW products have clear caps) brush wasn't that bad, but it was hard and plastic so i just used my own angled brush. no big deal :P i definitely recommend this eyeliner, it's a nice black creme for such a low price!

great eyebrow gel, and at only $1! i have to be careful as to not use too much on one brow, or it will look strange/oily... eyelash side doesn't really have a purpose.. definitely recommend, and you can use both sides for your eyebrows!

this was only my 2nd mascara (after the Falsies), and it was the first one that didn't clump on me, so back then i thought it was the best mascara in the world. it did a decent job in length and a bit of volume, BUT it held no curl at all. in a couple seconds my lashes were straight again. i wouldn't recommend this mascara because it doesn't hold a curl, which is pointless.. maybelline has better mascaras like Lash Stiletto and Full 'n' Soft.

when i first tried this mascara out, i hated it. i thought that it did nothing for length, volume, or curl, and that it only colored my lashes. also, removing it was a pain, and my eyes stung horribly. so, i tossed it to the side and forgot about until a month later. WOW! i tried it again today for the second time, and it was amazing! the formula had dried up a little, so it wasn't as wet and heavy as before. my lashes looked incredibly separated and defined, and they looked naturally long. it even held the curl, amazingly. there was still no volume, but i used NYC Showtime Mascara over it and the overall look was great. so, i would recommend Lash Stiletto - the packaging is cute, and the formula is great when it's dried a little. however, the price may throw you off ($11), and there's this weird chemical smell to it that all maybelline mascaras have :P *EDIT* - i wore this in the rain and even though the mascara wasn't running down my face or smudging, there were a whole lot of flakes :P try not to rub your eyes/get them wet when wearing this mascara. it will be flake city, and very irritating to the eyes..

Lip Gloss -New York Color - Liquid Lip Shine

i used to have the old packaging lip gloss (looked just like smashbox lip enhancing gloss!), and the formula sucked :P but the new Liquid Lipshine is pretty good. not too sticky, but kinda smells like coconut m&m's. i don't mind it really, and it goes away after a minute. i got the shade Nude York City and it's a really great nude lip gloss. i like pairing it with kim kardashian-smokey eyes, because that's her usual FOTD. great price, and i might pick up Honey on the Hudson soon. definitely recommend :)
