Cleansers -Mario Badescu - Orange Cleansing Soap

I was pleasantly surprised by this cleanser. I have generally dry skin that can flake sometimes in the morning and wanted an everyday cleanser that wouldn't leave me any dryer. This left my skin smooth, clean and wasn't drying at all. It's easy to control how much product you want with the squeeze bottle (I only need a pea size amount for my whole face) and it rinses off easily with water without leaving any oily residue behind. I've tried removing face makeup with this- works a treat. The orange scent seems artificial to me- but not off-putting. I will keep using this - its the best cleanser I've tried!

I have dry skin and occasionally get some small spots. At any sign of inflammation or redness I apply this and find that it usually clears up overnight! It doesn't dry out the skin at all so I can use it under makeup during the day. For actual pimples, I agree that it probably brings them to a head as other reviewers have said, but I imagine that means its speeding up the process...? I'm still using the gift with purchase size and have had it for a year now. I will definitely repurchase.

Primer/ Corrector -Laura Mercier - Foundation Primer-Mineral

I really like this primer, it is light but hydrating, and gives me a smooth base for liquid foundation when applied over moisturiser. It doesn't make my dry skin flake and my make up stays put for 10 hours +. The price is fine as I only need a pea size amount each time, so the 50mL has lasted me a little over a year. My only gripe is the packaging - the primer can leak into the lid sometimes (ie if you stand it upright with the lid down or if you take it travelling in your makeup bag). It doesn't actually leak out of the tube though and is fine if you store it horizontally on your dresser for every day use. I will repurchase.

Toners -Mario Badescu - Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater

I've become addicted to this spray! I really like the scent and feel so refreshed after I've spritzed this on my face. Its beautiful in summer to cool me down. Apart from that, I also use it to set my make up to give a dewy finish, as well as occasionally after cleansing. I wouldn't say that it does anything amazing for my skin, but it hasn't harmed it either and since its pretty cheap I will definitely repurchase when I run out.

Moisturizers -Origins - A Perfect World Antioxidant Moisturizer

I wanted this to be my everyday moisturiser as I loved the consistency of the cream and the scent but found that it wasn't hydrating enough. I only use it on my T-zone as I don't need much hydration there (its slightly oily) and this doesn't break me out, so maybe this is better suited to oily skin types.

Masks -Aesop - Primrose Facial Cleansing Masque

This is great for a deep clean. I have a slightly oily T and slightly dry cheeks but this product always leaves my skin feeling smooth and fresh all over. This isn't too harsh for me at all even in winter (I use it once a week as this is all I need). I also love the scent so it feels quite indulging when I use this. I will definitely repurchase.

This is great for my dry cheeks and makes a great base under liquid foundation - my skin stays hydrated for the whole day. There was a period when my skin got really dry and dehydrated, and flaked when I put on makeup but since using this my skin is perfect. The price was fair for the quantity, I've used it for months and still have plenty of product. The only gripe I have is the packaging - I like the look of the jars but a pump would be so much more hygienic. Other than that, its a fantastic cream for dry skin (HG!)

Scrubs -Fresh - Sugar Face Polish with Strawberries

My favourite exfoliator for my dry skin! I apply this on cleansed, dry skin and rinse it off with warm water. It makes my skin soooo smooth afterwards and the product smells beautiful! You only need a very small amount of product each time so the price isn't bad considering it'll last ages.

Liquid -Chanel - Vitalumiere Aqua

Love the consistency and how easy the application is for this. I just use my hands to apply if I'm in a rush (most mornings) or use a stippling brush when I have more time. It smooths on so easily and feels nice and light on my skin. It has a fragrance but I don't mind this. I have dry skin and prefer to wear light coverage foundations and this is perfect. Only negatives are the price (expensive in Australia) and the fact that you have to shake the bottle. EDIT: This has become my HG foundation! This gives me enough coverage and doesn't break me out or clog up my skin and is just so easy to apply (with my fingers). LOVE.

This is a good quality balm that keeps my lips in good condition and gives a nice tint that actually lasts. I think the price is reasonable considering that I can use it as a balm & "lip stick" in the one package. I also have the Honey & Passion and love them all.

Primer/ Corrector -MAC - Prep + Prime Skin

It has a mousse texture that my skin absorbs very quickly and leaves a nice smooth base for foundation. I only need a tiny amount for my whole face. I thought it was too glittery at first but after putting foundation on top I couldn't really notice this anymore. I think it may dry the skin a little though, but it doesn't break me out and I love that it feels so light on my skin.
