Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous in Carbon Black

i have been using voluminous since high school and i have never found anything i like better. so when they came out with carbon black i jumped at it. it is the blackest i have found and pretty much the same as the original but i little more watery. when you first buy it use a paper towel or something to wipe off the excess or you will make a mess. i still do this sometimes when i want it to look really soft. i can't say if this really lengthens or curls a whole lot because my eyelashes are long and have a curl to them already but it does definetly add definition and fullness without getting clumpy.

Eye Shadow -Revlon - 5 star eye mousse - Brown Suede

this is so pretty, soft rose-taupe. it it pretty sheer but can be easily layered. i love that it is not glittery, just leaves a nice sheen. also, does not slide off like most cream or mousse eyeshadows tend to on me. also, i found it on clearance for like $2 at riteaid! would def repurchase if it weren't LE and probably no longer available.

Moisturizers -Korres - Wild Rose 24-Hour Cream

i absolutely love this stuff. i started using it maybe a year ago, then for a few months i tried out a few different things (i wish this stuff had a higher SPF!) but couldn't find anything close. so instead, i just wear this and makeup with SPF.

Powder -Christian Dior - Diorskin Forever Compact

i am still trying to make up my mind on this stuff. i have never bought powder foundation before so that could be part of the problem. i like the ease of use, the compact is kind of soooo rich old lady that its blue plastic tackiness becomes awesome. anyway, the texture and coverage are very nice but i was finding after 10-15 minutes my skin felt really dry. i have started spraying some toner (fresh's rose marigold which is alcohol free) over top of it to set it and that seems to help with the dryness and makes it less matte. i am looking forward to see if i like it better as spring comes and my skin gets a little oilier.

Lipstick -MAC - Up The Amp

this is probably the lipstick i wear the most. i pretty much adore mac amplified creme because of the texture and the fact it doesn't dry my lips out and isn't glittery. this is a violet pink and i think it is very unique and pretty. it is pretty intense, i like to wear it with no other makeup (maybe some mascara) or a little rosey-bronze eyeshadow. it will definetly be noticed and i have discontinued wearing it to work after some stares in meetings. i am pretty fair and have green eyes and the violet really makes my eyes stand out. love it, will repurchase.

Shampoo -Davines - dede

this is an OK shampoo, i think my hair may be a little too oily for it (for the record, my hair isn't very oily. i need to wash it about every other day.) i bought it because my stylist recommended it and i like that it is natural. however, it tends to leave my hair feeling not completely clean. it does smell good and would probably work well for someone with a dryer scalp. i also HATE the bottle it came in. i try to buy things in large sizes and the large size of this has a screw top that is like 3 inches in diameter which makes it really annoting to use. i ended up transferring it to a smaller bottle. this probably wouldn't be as big of an issue with the smaller size.

Cleansers -Dermalogica - Special Cleansing Gel

I have used this for the last 3 years and it is a really great all around gentle cleanser. Getting a little older, my skin is starting to get dryer in some places and I have started to only use this at the end of the day. If i use it morning and night, I get a little dry. It could also be that I moved to a dryer climate and it is winter. I am going to wait until it gets warmer and see if I still react the same way to it.

Lipstick -Chanel - Hydrabase Coco Pink

This is my favourite lipstick color, hands down. I had a hard time finding a bright (electric even) pink with blue undertones, most seemed too fuschia or magenta. You can definetly use less or more to vary the impact, i prefer more. The only drawback is that it can be drying, the majority of my lipsticks are MAC amplified creme and i prefer that texture. Anyhow, i will definetly repurchase!

Treatments -Neutrogena - Visibly Even Skin Polishing Enzyme Treatment [DISCONTINUED]

I absolutely love this mask. My skin is pretty dry and sensitive with the exception of my nose and forehead and most masks containing enzymes or acid sting. This did not and has a mild scent not to mention it leaves my skin sooo soft and glowing. After a month of using it 1-2 times a week I have noticed improvement in clarity and texture and the price isn't bad at all, not to mention a little goes a long way. Definetly buying again!
