I really like this concealer! It's the perfect brightener for my horrific sinus circles. I'm fair (MAC C3/NC25) and this covers and brightens all in one - kind of like YSL TE but in powder form :) I mix this concealer w/ a light eye gel for days when I feel dry & then dab it on w/ my finger. Other days I just brush it on and then blend with my EM Linen foundation. either way, this stuff works wonders! I said I would repurchase this, but I really don't know that I will ever have to, as a tiny bit goes a long way. Great for fair-light skintones, I think it maybe a bit pale for medium and darker gals.
Powder -Everyday Minerals - foundation semi-matte formula
kat2703 10/7/2008 1:10:00 AM
I'm a huge EDM fan, but held off using this formula for a long time due to negative reviews. I LOVE it though! This formula gives me just the right amount of coverage and glow with decent oil control. I like this or Matte, but find the SM looks a little more natural. Good lasting power on my combo skin. Will definitely buy again!
Loose Powders -Everyday Minerals - Tinted Silk Dust [DISCONTINUED]
kat2703 10/5/2008 2:13:00 PM
I bought this to use as a primer &/or setting powder for my MMU. It has great oil control, but I'm only slightly oily, so I think it is a bit too much for my skin. It's OK as a primer, but I've moved on the to the Start to Finish powders or the Fyrinnae Rice Powder Primer. I do still use the Silk Dust as a touch up during the day, but sometimes it can go on kind of chalky and hard to blend over my MMU, while other times it leaves a nice polished finish. I will finish up what I have, but I'm not terribly upset it was dc'd.
I love this Glimmer! Grace is one of my HG neutral/everyday shadows. On my golden toned (NC25-30) skin, it shows up a rosy, peachy, light gold with multi-faceted shimmer. This is a shadow I can throw on with some liner & mascara & be done - it just brightens up my green eyes! Love this and will definitely repurchase!
I was sucked in by the bright packaging & all they hype on MUA. I bought Colossal at WalMart , when my HG CG LashBlast had run out. At first, I really hated this product - the smell, the brush, the texture, etc. I nearly threw it out, but I hate wasting stuff, so I decided to stick it out for a little while. I must say, this mascara has grown on me! It does give nice length, good volume, and has a great inky black color (Glam Black). For the price, not a bad mascara - perhaps one of the better DS mascaras out there, but, alas, it's not my beloved LashBlast, and so I wont be repurchasing.
Makeup Brushes -Everyday Minerals - Eye Kabuki Brush
kat2703 9/16/2008 4:44:00 PM
Love this brush!!! I could never make EM concealers work my undereyes until now :) I can see where it is too big to use for anything but a wash of e/s, but for buffing concealer under the eyes, it's simply fantastic. Will definitely order a 2nd one to have on hand. I also love the bamboo handles & the price is right!
I really like this product, the texture, the convenient pump bottle, the price, and the high SPF protection. At first I really liked the finish & I still think it's a great moisturizer, but my skin has changed from normal/dry to combo/oily & now it makes my skin shinier throughout the day :( I have used up half of my bottle & will probably finish it up (just using a primer over it w / my MMU. The only other thing I'm not crazy about is the scent, but it does fade. Too bad this is just too heavy for skin now.
Primer/ Corrector -Unlisted Brand - Monistat - Chafing Relief Powder-Gel
kat2703 9/9/2008 8:36:00 PM
Feels a lot like Photo Finish and is so cheap for a big tube. I like how it makes my skin matte but it does feel heavy on my skin as compared to other primers.I did have a considerable amount of clogged opera while using this, which is why I stopped using it. Prob won't rebuy even at the low pricetag.
Makeup Brushes -Everyday Minerals - Long handled Kabuki

I ADORE this brush! Wonderful quality for the price. It applies my MMU like a dream. I have 2 of these so that if I'm washing one, I can use the other. I don't like a heavy m/u coverage, so for daily foundation I use this brush. The synthetic bristles make it easy to clean as well.
I really like this product. I was skeptical, as I am of ALL concealers, but it does cover my horrendous undereyes and my red areas around my nose, as well as a lovely scar I have on my chin. It doesn't crease/fade/cake, and the color Light Medium is great for my C4/NC30ish skintone. I like the pot-packaging, as it's easy to scrape the last bits out. This concealer is also hydrating enough for my undereyes, which is unusual. Possible HG, and really reasonable price compared to what I've paid for some other concealers. UPDATE: The more I used this, the less I liked it. I get much better coverage from YSL TE & my EM concealers. The lasting power wasnt as great as I originally thought either :( Too bad, b/c I really did like this at first!
Fragrances -Narciso Rodriguez - Narciso Rodriguez for her
kat2703 4/20/2008 11:00:00 PM
My sig scent!! I adore this fragrance for everyday when used lightly or for night time when sprayed a little more lavishly. Its a delicious ambery musk w/ some orange blossom thrown in to keep it light. I love the EDT & one spray lasts all day. I always get compliments on this, both from women and men & will always own a bottle.
Eyeliner -Clinique - Cream Shaper for Eyes-Egyptian
kat2703 4/20/2008 10:46:00 PM
Love this! Picked it up after reading raves on the boards. The color is a deep olive...I'm used to wearing black, but this is a nice, slightly softer alternative. The staying power is great for a pencil & it glides on smoothly. Will definitely always have on hand!
Eye Primer -Bare Escentuals - bareVitamins Prime Time Eyelid Primer
kat2703 4/7/2008 10:55:00 PM
I love this - was using UD PP before & it was a bit drying. The Prime Time gives me the same effect, but is gentler on my lids. I have already rebought once...only complaint is that you can't tell when you're about to run out, so it's important to have a back up on hand!
Sorry to be a downer on this one...I really wanted to love this concealer, but it just doesn't do it for me. The price is reasonable, the tube packaging is nice. The consistancy is lovely & it brightens the eye area allright. I put this one with a brush, with my fingers, over eye cream, without eye cream, and each time it creased w/in a few minutes :( It also just didn't wow me with coverage or overall effect. The color #3 was ok for my NC30 complexion.
Bronzers -Bare Escentuals - Faux Tan all-over face color
kat2703 3/26/2008 12:03:00 AM
I adore this bronzer! I've tried MANY - BE Warmth, MAC, BB Light, Vincent Longo, many drugstore ones...this one is soft & neutral enough so as not to be muddy OR orange. It blends easily, has minimal shimmer, & the amount you get is incredible for $20 - I can't imagine using it up! If BE ever discontinues this I'll be quite upset! Just for reference I'm a MAC NC30/35, BE Medium Beige.
