This simply did not work for my oily skin. Had to return it. It looked nice for about an hour and then it started to feel suffocating on my skin (just like the liquid version), I had to wash it off midday. I am always disappointed with B.B.'s foundations. When will I learn?

Concealers -Tarte - Maracuja creaseless concealer

My only regret is that I did not buy this sooner. I am fair with terrible dark circles and lines under my eyes. I have tried every concealer and/or corrector you can imagine. I apply a small amount of eye cream, smashbox under eye primer and then apply this with Sephora's Airbrush concealer brush. It does the job. No crazy colored corrector needed! And it last all day. I am so pleased. It can be difficult to squeeze out of the tube but that does not bother me. It reminds me that I only need a small amount to do each eye.

Foundations -Clinique - Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfecting Makeup

I really like this foundation. It provides a very natural finish with moderate coverage. I have oily aging skin with large pores on my nose. When I use my Sephora Airbrush to apply it my pores disappear. It just makes my face look soft and natural. I was using Estee lauder Doublewear but no matter how I would apply it my pores on my nose would show through and also I felt it made my skin look old. I have passed on most of Cliniques latest foundations because they seem to pinkish in tone and the fairest shades have been too dark. I purchased this in alabaster which is the lightest shade. The color seems dark when I squeeze onto the back of my hand but dries much lighter on my face. Perhaps those with dry skin will not like this foundation but I think it is a great choice for oily skin.

Foundations -Almay - TLC Truly Lasting Color

This is a very nice alternative to more expensive long wearing foundations. I have tried ELDW, Smashbox 15 hr., Lancome and several others and this ranks right up there with those. I love the soft finish this provides and it does a nice job of covering my pores. Also, it keeps the shines away longer than the above mentioned foundations. This foundation does have an odd, "gummy" consistency which can make it difficult to apply and even more difficult to layer.

Cleansers -Ponds - Luminous Clean Cream Cleanser

I was using Olay sensitive skin face wash but it was not removing all of my long wear foundation. I saw this in a magazine and picked it up for $4.99 at Walmart. I really like it. I only use it at night. It removes all of my makeup with one cleanse. No residue left on my towel like with the olay cleanser. I have oily skin and do not find it too drying. There is also an exfoliating version of this cleanser.

Liquid -Estee Lauder - Double Wear (old formula)

Finding a color match in this foundation was tricky for me. I am very pale and always wear one of the lightest shades in any foundation. I purchased DW in Sand, which appears to be much too dark for my face. However, this foundation actually turns lighter when you apply it and gets even lighter throughout the day. I use a sponge to prevent a heavy mask like look. It doesn't look quite as natural as I would like but my skin is terrible so what can I expect? It stays on until I take it off.

Liquid -Bobbi Brown - Long Wear Even Finish Foundation Spf 15

I'm 45 with extremely oily skin and large pores. I did not like this foundation and will be returning it. Upon application it felt very nice...it has some slip to it. I tried applying with fingers, sponge and brush. I preferred the sponge application. Within an hour my face felt oily and greasy. I blotted with MAC blot powder and even that could not take the shine away. I've had the foundation for a week and have tried numerous primers and setting powders but nothing helps the greasiness. I've actually come home midday to wash this stuff off my face! I do not understand how this can be marketed for oily skin. It contains Shea butter which may be the reason for the heavy feel.

Concealers -Maybelline - Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles

I purchased the Fair and the Brightener shades. The fair is too pale and I was immediately regretting my purchase. Then, I tried the Brightener. I applied my foundation (Smashbox Skin)with a sponge around my eyes, applied the Brightener and finished with a light dusting of Sonia Kashuk's brightening powder. OMG! It looks like I am back from zombieland!! No more dark shadows. And it lasted all day. I am very pleased. I have also tried correctors from BB, LM, Pixi, Benefit and countless other. None of these worked for me as they are so thick and pastey. The sponge applicator does not bother me. You can apply it with the sponge or dab it on your hand and apply as you like.

Liquid -Chanel - Perfection Lumiere

I've been looking for a new foundation for my fair oily skin. I tried this, MAC Matchmaster and Smashbox Skin. I purchased the Smashbox. Although I loved the light smooth feel of this foundation (unlike most other longwear foundations) it just didn't hold up as promised. It looked blotchy and shiny at the end of the day. Also, I could not get it to smooth away the pores on my nose. I tried it with a primer, applied it with a sponge, brush and my fingers. It does feel lovely so I can see how a lot people will like this it just didn't suit my skin.

Liquid -Smashbox - Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Fdt.

I've been looking for a new foundation for my pale, oily skin. I got samples of Mac Matchmaster, Chanel Perfection and this. After trying them all I decided to purchase this. It truly lasts 14 hours on my skin. It is not the easiest to apply, as it dries quickly and feels rather thick. After it about an hour it looks better than when first applied and at night when I go to wash it off it looks even better! I've never had a foundation perform like Smashbox Skin! IMO it is much better than Revlon Colorstay which makes my skin very shiny after an hour. Coverage is medium One lippie off for color selection for us fair ladies. I use the lightest 1.1
