For some reason this BB lip balm was priced a dollar more than the others at Ulta. I am not wowed, I love clove oil, but this is strong. It definitely cut through my stuffy nose and right into my sinuses. I got a migraine after using it, and I'm hoping they're not related.
This lip balm has a soft lemon honey scent (more lemon than honey) and is fine. Nothing exciting, a little disappointing for the $6 I paid for it at Ulta. I prefer the Savannah Bee Honey Lemon lip balm I picked up at Bath and Body Works better, it's a similar flavor but more moisturizing and a third of the cost. Both use all natural ingredients.
I like this gloss, I have to be careful to use a light hand because it's easy to go from a nice pretty gloss with some color to screaming "look at my bright red lips". Nice staying power.
I love it! I love the smell, I love the feel of it, I love how soft my lips are after using it! My only complaint is untested, it seems like the cap would come off easily in my purse, so I've resisted carrying it around.
Lips -mark - Kiss Therapy Lip Balm In Shimmering Bronze

This is my favorite color in the kiss therapy lip balms out of the four I have (Shimmering Bronze, Shimmering Shell, Sheer Rose and Sheer Peach). I hope this isn't a limited edition color! This tin opens the best of the four I have, but I wish they came up with a better design. The color is pretty and slightly shimmery, perfect for work. Love the light rose scent.
Lips -mark - Kiss Therapy Lip Balm in Shimmering Shell

Despite the horrible packaging, I love this! I really hope that this and the Shimmering Shell are sticking around because they are both so pretty and easy to wear. I like the mellow rose scent, just wish it was easier to access.
Lip Treatments -mark - Sheer Peach Kiss Therapy Super Soothing Lip Balm
karlitabooks 9/17/2007 2:40:00 AM
I bought this in four colors, Sheer Peach, Sheer Rose, Shimmering Shell and Shimmering Bronze. This was my least favorite color. The color is definitely more coral and bright than what it looks like online. I wish I had read the reviews first, I probably would have skipped this color. As others have said, the packaging is most definitely a pain! I have to wedge something between the lid & pan to get it open which has kept this at home. This color is not worth the hassle for me.
Lip Treatments -mark - Kiss Therapy Super Soothing Lip Balm [DISCONTINUED]
karlitabooks 9/17/2007 2:35:00 AM
I bought this in Sheer Rose, which I like a lot. I do love Smith's Rosebud Salve, but this is a different rose smell. There is room for both in my bathroom. As others have said, the packaging is a pain! I have to wedge something between the lid & pan to get it open which has kept this at home. I also bought Sheer Peach, Shimmering Shell and Shimmering Bronze.
I fell for the gimmick, but this just looks like a clear gloss on me and I don't really care for the smell. It also doesn't last very long. I wouldn't buy this again.
Lip Treatments -Clinique - Superbalm Tinted Lip Treatment in Grape Tint
karlitabooks 9/17/2007 2:21:00 AM
I tried this at the Clinique counter thinking it was going to be a horrible color since it looks so purple. I tried it on and loved it, it's slightly tinted but gives a nice shiny finish without being sticky. The best part is that it really moisturizes my lips, it's especially great for winter when it's super dry out.
My mom told me if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. However, my biggest complaint was that I thought the scent was off and I thought the pot had turned. Now I wonder if that's just the normal smell?
Lip Gloss -Neutrogena - MoistureShine Lip Soother Cooling Hydragel - Glisten
karlitabooks 9/17/2007 2:01:00 AM
When I first bought this lip gloss I wasn't sure if I could handle the very distinctive smell - a minty peachy scent. Now I like it a lot. As others have said, this is basically a clear gloss, the peachy color doesn't really show on my lips. It does have a sticky texture and tingles, but the scent grew on me and I do like it. I'd try other colors this line.
I got this as my free lip gloss for signing up for Bath and Body Works email list. I like the mintiness, but am wishing I picked one of the other tints for slightly more color. This gives a nice gloss, just a shade darker than clear. I agree with others about the fact the tube seems to pick up dirt and look grimy easily.
Lip Treatments -C.O. Bigelow - My Favorite Lip Balm
karlitabooks 9/17/2007 1:42:00 AM
I picked up several of these at Bath & Body Works semi-annual sale for $2 each for the .5 oz pot. What a bargain! This isn't my favorite lip balm, but it is great for the price. The smell is great, vanilla-y, but without being overly sweet. I love the feel on my lips but it's not long lasting. Since they were only $2 I have them stashed every where, the bathroom, bedside table, car, at work, etc. I probably wouldn't pay full price, but would definitely pick up some more at the next sale.
Lip Treatments -Smith's Rosebud Salve - Smith's Strawberry Lip Balm
karlitabooks 9/17/2007 1:29:00 AM
I like the strawberry version of my favorite rosebud salve. However, I think it's important to note this is called a lip balm versus a salve, it's not as soft as the salves. Sometimes I love the fake strawberry smell, other times I can't stand it. It does remind me of a strawberry lip gloss I had as a kid from Avon that was in a strawberry shaped container. Gotta love it just for bringing up that forgotten memory.
