Moisturizers -Equate - Complete Beauty Lotion with SPF 15 - Sensitive Skin

Love this! I used to use a retinoid moisturizer under my make-up. I noticed that my face always felt heavy, sweaty, and/or greasy. I finally switched from the brand of make-up to another and still had the same thing. Finally, I tried using a lighter weight moisturizer under my make-up. That was it! Now I use my retinoid at night like you are supposed to, and this in the morning under my foundation. Sinks right in and absorbs almost immediately. It is light weight and doesn't make my face feel heavy. My aunt has used the Equate version of this Oil of Olay product for 30 years. She is right, this is fantastic, and not expensive. Not greasy, heavy, abosorbs quickly, and leaves my face soft. Traditionally I am Nuetrogena all the way...but why bother spending extra $$ when this is perfect!
Yeppers!! And last a long time!
The only sharpener that will sharpen ALL my make-up pencils. The cheap ones cause the wood on them to split, not this one. When you spend $20 on a makeup pencil, you have a tendency to want to make sure it doesn't split and ruin...
I really, really wanted to like this. I'm a big Suave supporter, but this lotion just didn't really meet my expectations! It does what it is supposed to do, but just barely. I liked the retinyl palmitate that's in it, and it made my skin smooth, just stickier than I like and didn't really feel moisturized. There are others that sink into your skin better and quicker, smell better, have more moisturizers, and that last longer. This isn't Nivea or the old fashioned cherry-almond Jergens either, but it works. It does what it is supposed to do and doesn't cost a fortune. So if I'm on a budget, I'd buy it again. I'm not a hater, just not a big fan of this lotion. UPDATE: Just found out this has a lot of retinyl palmitate- 5th ingredient listed! Changes everything! With that much retinoid, maybe the stickiness is something I can live with ! ;-)
Heavier moisturizer than the St. Ives I had been using, but that is a good thing! My skin gets drier as I get older, which is normal I hear. Nostalgic aroma...cherry almond. Love it!
Absolutely! Glamour to Go is my favorite!
I used to wear this in the 80's when women wore heavier fragrances, and really liked it. However that was (egads) 30 years ago. Now women wear lighter scents that are more natural, meaning scents found in nature (clean, floral, woodsy, vanilla, or musky scents). I really love the new fragrances. My mother remembered I wore Red Door and remembered I really liked it, however, I don't think she realized that was 30 years ago, and fragrances have evolved. But I wore it a couple times simply for old times sake. Imagine my suprise when my 16 year old son complimented my on it!!!! I thought he was going to say I smelled like an old lady that wears too much perfume, but no!!! He said that should be my signature fragrance. It is a really strong scent, not one to be worn daily at work. It's an adult fragrance...and is typically worn on an evening out. Be sure not to put on too much, a little can go a long ways. It's one of those "old-school-high-maintenance-women" scents, not a young girly scent. Shall I say highly sophisticated??
Fragrances -Elizabeth Arden - Mariah Carey - Luscious Pink

Once again, LOVE it!! It is a combination of clean and sexy. Light, floral, clean, and airy enough for everyday at work. Yet sexy enough to wear for a night out on the town. LOVE IT!!
Guys compliment me on this EVERYTIME I wear it! Light enough to wear everyday at work, and sexy enough to wear out on the town. LOVE IT!
Fragrances -Elizabeth Arden - Curious by Britney Spears

I would catch a whiff of this fragrance not knowing what it was. Everytime I asked what it was, people would tell me it was some Estee Lauder fragrance...or they couldn't remember. I guess they were embarrassed to say it was Britney Spears Curious. I bought this after Christmas in a gift set that was marked down not realizing THIS WAS THE SCENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This fragrance smells clean, light, summery, and young - perfect for every day. Not sure I would wear it for a night on the town, but this is my GoTo scent!!!!! I adore it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Eyeliner -Rimmel - Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer - Sable
kandrews580 7/26/2012 11:40:00 AM
LOVE IT. Works better, lasts longer, and has stronger pigmentation than the high dollar eye liners for a FRACTION of the cost. I've used Benefit, Pur Minerals, and other "professional" brands for triple the cost of this one. I use Rimmel!!! Like it better!
Cleansers -AMBI - Even Clear Skincare Foaming Cleanser
kandrews580 7/20/2012 6:04:00 PM
Keep in mind I use this as a part of an anti-aging regimine, not acne. I'm not really fond of the foaming pump thing, but I like the cleanser. Because I'm used to a lotion-style cleanser consistency, the foaming consistency seems a little thin-ish. I use several pumps to get my entire face. However, I realize I may be using too much. I could see results in my pores within 2 days! I have used salicylic acid (which works as a chemical exfoliant) in toners and astringents, but for some reason I see better and quicker results with the cleanser. Love how it reduces the pores on my face, and in time it should brighten my skin tone some. UPDATE: 2 weeks later I can see a brighter complexion looking back at me in the mirror - especially on my neck!!!
Cleansers -Equate - 3-1 Facial Cleansing Towelettes
kandrews580 6/23/2012 1:38:00 PM
I wouldn't use these as my primary make-up remover, but when I don't feel like doing the entire facial cleansing routine, it works! However, when I do the entire routing at night, after showering in the morning and before I do my morning make-up, I will use one of these cloths to gently cleanse any residue from the night before creams I used. Like everyone else has said, the first few towelettes are on the dry side but only on the top side. I try to make sure that I leave the next towelette tucked inside the container. For the price, I will definitely use these again and again! I also recently started using cold cream to remove my make-up at night. Cold cream can leave a heavier residue than I want sometimes, and these work great to gently wipe away excess residue. Like I said earlier, I use another in the morning to "wake-up" my face and gently cleanse overnight build up. Would definitely purchase again!!!
Primer/ Corrector -L'Oreal - Magic Lumi - Light Infusing Primer
kandrews580 6/22/2012 2:58:00 PM
I mix this with my primary primer (Monistat Chafing Powder Gel), and get FANTASTIC results. It brightens up my face, making my skin look healthier and giving me a younger looking skin tone! I initially got it to brighten up underneath my eyes--however, it is not a concealer. It "deflects" attention back up to my eyes, not the newly arriving wrinkles and creases I am starting to accumulate. Because it is a primer and not a concealer, it doesn't settle in my creases nearly as bad. It helps my skin tone to appear brighter, smoother, healthier, and helps diminish the appearance of shadows that impending age causes. After applying all my make-up, I get a little bit on my finger tips and dot it around my eyes and on the top part of my cheek bone, and a little between my eyes. If I think I need a little more "reflection" that day, I will apply a small amount to the outside corners of my eyes and a dot or two above my eye brows. A little used like this goes A LONG way, so easy does it!!! I have discovered that as skin ages, it tends to loose that rosy glow--this helps give that look back! Aging skin needs reflectors to brighten up the tone, this does a GREAT job!!
FANTASTIC!!! LOVE THIS STUFF!!! Now I know why this stuff has been around for as long as it has! I use it to cleanse my face, not only does it cleans, it moisturizes as well. Granted, there are some days that I don't need all THAT moisture back in my skin. I run my tissue across the top of the cream and gently massage on my eye make-up. Next I get a warm washcloth and run it across the cream and gently massage my face. I rinse with warm water. Depending on how much moisturizer I think I need, I may or may not wait a minute or so and wipe again with a make-up removal towelette. It is INCREDIBLY gentle, and even though I take measures to remove excess cream after removal, I still get plenty of moisturizer! Even if I have that "heavy" and "greasy" feeling on my face when I go to bed, when I awake in the morning my skin is softer than I have felt in years! Plus my skin feels fresher, looks fresher, brighter, healthier, and as "fresh as a baby's butt"! Amazing!!! This stuff is the "plain ole" cold cream that has been around for years--unlike Ponds that has changed formulas over the years. It works great to moisturize feet and elbows. I have, however, added the clay mask into my beauty regimine to keep my pores from clogging. But I LOVE this stuff!!!
